The Captain's Boil

Walked in and waited 10 min before service sat at bar for 5mins after putting our drink order in got sat at our booth. Food came out at all different times. We got the Pirate combo. Lobster came out first And 15 min later the clams.and 10 min later our mussels plus we got shrimp potatos and corn as well as okra. We were done eating by the time they brought okra. The sauce was very bland your would think with all of that food you could get different sauces/flavors. My wife and I were never offered a garbage can as well as asking for refill of water or a drink in general. Would I go back no. Was the food bad no. But the fact you are paying 200+ all food should come at same time should have a bunch of different dipping sauces. And your drinks should be full.

They hired a friend of mine to come in for training and messaged her 20 minutes before she was to start, informing her not to come that they had hired someone else. She was excited all week as this was her first job and even went and bought all of the clothing they had requested (all black clothes). I would consider this highly unprofessional and disrespectful as it made her lose faith and trust in any future employers. Hopefully this was a one time incident and not a reoccurring practice your restaurant partakes in. If this how you operate then I would urge any future jobseekers to avoid this establishment.

My kids love this place for a treat when we go to Vaughan Mills. Our favourite is the fire captain's boil with snow crab and corn. Service is good, dining concept is fun and the food tastes great. A bit on the pricey side and I noticed the booth they sat us in on Sunday needed some repairs, hopefully that will be taken care of.

The food here was very hot and tasted great. Our server Abigail was very attentive and the overall experience was great.

Ordered a takeout for lunch (just as store opened yesterday) and was disappointed with the taste of the food. We have tried this franchise a few times at a couple of locations in Vancouver BC where the taste and flavour were consistently good. Expected similar for our first experience in the GTA, having picked this location from reviews. The taste of both the Captain’s Boil sauce and the Seafood Fried Rice were not close to what we had experienced previously in BC.

Iren, was fantastic, very charismatic, fun and attentive. She gave us 5 star service. Bonus the food was hot just as we like it. No issues. We highly recommend Iren, as she will take excellent care of you!

I'm only leaving because my party is full.this is great. Our server was excellent, offered us a high chair.had I known I wouldn't have brought mine, good woth the kids and very personable!

It’s been years since my first time at the captains boil. Still a regular customer to this day. My favourite is always the clams! My husband loves their shrimp and mussels and of course the Cajun fries are wicked.

This is a pretty good Captain's Boil location. The atmosphere is lively. I liked that they had a hand washing system in the middle. That was very convenient.

Extend your prep time for food deliveries. Makes no sense to wait 15-20 after arriving at restaurant.

OMG! I have been wanting to try a good seafood boil for a while now and this was amazing! So delicious. Great service and atmosphere as well.

Our waitress Iren made sure that our food came quickly and was so friendly. Welcoming atmosphere and fun night with the family. She was so good with the kids even gave them crayons to play with.

This dining experience was truly magical. The food was delicious and it the tools that were provided were truly helpful and good. There was so much flavour that it hit my tastebuds like 1000 lions 10/10

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Irene, Elaine and Emma were the best!

The wait staff isn’t overly friendly and no sense of urgency.
I totally understand all foods have different cook times and need to be prepared a certain way, but when everyone at the table is ordering different meals it would be great to know some of us will be waiting ten mins longer than others.

No refills on soft drinks, not great when you have children with you.

The food is decent, for sure. But I wouldn’t say worth of their price points.
