If you want to eat lobster in Toronto, this is the place to go!
The sauce is Cajun, and the sides are sausage and corn.

In addition to the main dish, the fried rice (chicken) is also a must-try.

Surprisingly such an amazing experience. Took my cousin here who was craving crab legs and a seafood feast. We got king crab legs, mussels, shrimp, clams, sausage, corn & potatoes ALL tossed in the house special which was the Captain Boil’s Sauce/Flavouring (Medium spicy). It was delicious y’all. Great kick, perfectly seasoned. We were really impressed.

We inhaled the cajun fries by the way. Absolutely bomb. We also had the fried rice on the side, again, soooo good. I’m glad there were leftovers to take home to share with my family. Who also enjoyed it.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s a big menu and there are endless options. And this was our first time. We had a wonderful experience, the restaurant is super clean, washrooms were nice. And the prices are fair.

I the customer service and the food. I recommend it to anyone. Lastly the prices for the meals are fair.

I’ve always enjoyed Captain's Boil. This particular location was the best. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Maria and Ardiz whom along with the rest of the staff were exceptional the entire night. I celebrated my birthday here, it was a great family and friends experience. The kids had a great time.
In conclusion, exceptional service and great food. I will definitely go back to this location and highly recommend it.

First time visiting this location.

Drinks: They have a nice variety of mixed cocktails, including non alcoholic, which is perfect.

Dessert menu: have at least 3 different Dessert, we had chocolate lave cake with ice cream, was very good, will order again.

Sea Food: sauce tastes different from downtown location, and its still Rice tastes like real rice. I think rice in downtown location is a fake rice.

Free Parking available, perfect

Waiter, was nice and polite, just like at other Capitans boil location, all waiters are polite & professional

Hated it, omg everybody so close together I had a lady look at me thought maybe a little juice hit her in the eye I dunno just hated the experience everything too spicy even if d u say no

I visited the Sherway location on Sunday July 2. I was very disappointed. The waitress named A took our order. I ordered the pirate feast. I expected the meal in the bags but instead It was served on a platter. The platter was a mess. The broccoli and okra was soft and soggy, the platter was not presentable and I lost my appetite. I express to waitress A that I was not happy with the meal.instead of having a manager dealt with the issue she gave us a serving of mussel.that did not help. If it was up to me i would pay and leave but my boyfriend ask for take out containers. When I was paying for the meal, same waitress A grinning her teeth telling us next time ask for her. That was even more insulting.

Super unfortunate. We really like the captain's boil and it's become a bit of a Father's Day tradition so we were all really looking forward to it. They had a Father's Day feast special on which we ordered for $189 plus drinks and an order of wings.

A couple minutes after ordering they came back and told us that they were out of the lobster but they would give us 2 lobster tails in lieu of the full lobster.

When it came everything was pretty good as expected however the two lobster tails were completely raw when I cut them open. Our server totally agreed and took the whole plate to the back I guess to re-cook because they came back in about 15 minutes tasting like rubber.

I addressed it with one of the managers because our server went on a dinner break and we did not see her the rest of the the time.

I hate to waste food and honestly the lobster was inedible at that point. The manager asked if we wanted some free drinks or if the kids wanted some dessert. Really kids ice cream in lieu of lobster?

But honestly we just went with it. Another 15 minutes went by without us seeing anyone and my kids were getting restless after just being promised icecream.

I told the manager thanks but no thanks can we please just have the bill because we want to go. She said she would take care of the drinks and the wings. So the missing $65 market price lobster as well as the terrible service was supposed to be swept under the rug for two $9 sapporo's and a $16 plate of wings. Not cool.

Very disappointing Father's Day. Over $200 spent for two adults and two kids even with the discounted items taken off and now I'm across the street at sherway looking for something to eat because I'm actually still hungry and now my kids want icecream obviously. Thanks!

To top it all off we didn't even get any of the bibs. Overall not good experience and very weak attempt at making a bad situation right. Actually made it worse.

Food was less then desirable. Not even close to some were like red lobster. Service was great and it was fast.

This captain/sailor themed restaurant has not only amazing food but a really amazing atmosphere. Technically a sports bar, there are TVs everywhere playing not only the big leagues but small local sports as well.

The food is all brought in fresh from either Nova Scotia or just below the border from Maine. Depending on when you go you will have to purchase your seafood at market price, but it is all displayed at the door if so you can temper your expectations before taking a seat.

Finally, it's just a fun experience to eat. They provide a bib, gloves, and scissors to help crack any shells and get to the meat of your meal that all comes in a bag they mix up for you at the table. Their seasonings are all around classics that bring the heat as well. Get one of the Boils, you will not regret it.

The staff was friendly and sweet. Our food arrive fast and hot. We did lunch and it was nice since not pack. The price are good for 3 people and we had a lot of leftovers to take home. The washroom was clean. The only thing I suggest is have the market price for the lobster or crab more visible instead of at the door entrance. I had to go take a picture by the door to see the price since there’s no price on the menu.

Shout out to A who's a great server! <3 A recommended something off the menu and it was absolutely fantastic. The couple who was sitting next to us saw what we got and ordered the same thing as well. Also, free ice cream at the end so yeah. Went here twice already, never had any issues.

Just left totally disappointed. The food was flavourless and rubbery. They forgot our rice with our meal and never compensated for it. They offered to pack it to go but to be honest we didn’t want it after eating the little

This place was honestly overrated, the food was expensive and not even good, they said the food would fill 6-8 people but we were 5 and we were still hungry afterwards and went to eat something else after. The service was not good at all, we must have had 5 different employees serving us over the course of our stay, not one of them was kind to us. I do not recommend this place at all and will never be coming back.

Our first time visiting a Captains Boil. So the whole experience was new to us.

We've eaten crab/shellfish before and know it takes time to crack the legs/shells open to get all of the tasty meat.

The dungeness crab we had tasted amazing. Reasonably priced considering it's sea food.
Service was fast and food came out hot.
Ambience of the restaurant was good.

The only caveat was the crab had barnacles on them, which was slightly off-putting.

Overall, I would recommend Captains Boil at Sherway Gardens and we will definitely come back.

A great place of you like shrimps and seafood. Went there with my friends. I personally don't eat seafood so i ordered the chicken tenders meal with fries. To be honest it is just basic chicken tenders more of a kids meal because it was only 4 pieces.
The seasoning on the fries was nice but a bit spicy.
My friends liked their food though. It looked very juicy and they portions are great. Prepare yourself for a messy meal

I would give 6 stars if I could. If you like seafood and spice, look no further. The cajun mussels are to die for! The atmosphere is great, and the staff are courteous. I look forward to coming back to try the crawfish.
