This restaurant used to be owned by a very diligent person and the food & service were great. Now very recently the ownership was changed and the people who works here don’t even have the mini knowledge of how to make shawarma.instead of using the griller they use the pan to fry chicken & beef. Then what’s the point of eating Shawarma! And the hygiene came down to Zero. I have attached pictures- see they are making shawarma bare handed, without gloves and putting the meat from pan. If you have any other option, avoid this restaurant.
Wow, what a great gesture and and services and food by the restaurant. Best place to sit with your loved ones and have a great a meal.we enjoyed a lot.if you miss coming here, means you missed the whole north bay.
Recommend the Mezza Plate and ask for extra pitas. Travelling from Toronto and this is the best Babaganoush I've ever had. Everything is so fresh here. Love the onion in the tabbouleh.
The only place i see in NorthBay downtown where halal shawarma and Lebanese food- very friendly staff, great customer service, free parking spot, decent dining
After a long 4 years of school we have finally had the blessing to try cedar tree. We ordered 3 different types of platters with every side possible and they all hit the mark! No skips! Highly recommend, first year students dont sleep on this one!
Simply amazing food. Writing this review quite literally makes me want to walk over for it again right this minute. Pics unrelated, but both pets agree Cedar Tree freaking rocks
This is a tiny little restaurant with a whole lot of taste. My favorite is the donair bowl: rice or fries, vegetables, donair meat, donair sauce (spicy is an option). Besides donairs they offer a variety of Lebanese dishes. Service is friendly and attentive but because of the size don't be surprised that the person taking orders is also busy preparing food and answering the phone.
I’ve been to a lot of shawarma places in the Middle East and Canada, for the location north bay and population this is the best shawarma you can get in town. Food is served by the waiter, meat is fresh & taste wise 9.5/10 ambience 6/10.
We finally had the opportunity to try this place and can say we will definitely be coming back. Service was fast Workers were polite Food was fresh, tasty and full of flavor. The deluxe shawarma poutine was better then a regular poutine and the gravy on it SUPER unique. The food was full of body, light, tasty, filling without the guilt trip or heaviness after. They even make their garlic sauce with spice and it compliments the creaminess. I find some places dry out the chicken but not this one! The chicken was so juicy:) A must try!
