My son had the 6iz char grilled snake river wagu steak and I had the prime 9oz strip loin, we shared a side of broccolini, it has to be hands down one of my most tasteful and well executed plates I've had in a very long time, if ever! Our server, Brie was very knowledgeable and gracious. I would absolutely recommend The Chase to anyone and everyone

Best experience and best service ever! It server, Tara, was amazing! Get the potato bravas and carrot side and the seafood platter, chefs kiss!

I had the pleasure of spending New Year’s Eve and had an absolute amazing time. The food is exquisite and can really taste the care they put I to each dish.

Google incorrectly rates this place as $$ and it should be $$$. Red wines start from $30 a glass, beers - from $11, some for entries. Haven't been there, but love the pictures and definitely consider visiting this beautiful place.

Amazing, we allowed our waitress to order and she brought out an incredible spread from the appetizers to the entree. She also was really great at handling my gluten allergy

Chase never disappoints. The service is fantastic. Brendan, who usually serves us, is probably the best server we have encountered. Anywhere. Our preferences are remembered, the champagne is always perfectly chilled, the food is always perfect and his knowledge of the food and wine is excellent. My daughter was with me last time (a teenager) and I was surprised how much she loved the place and how engaged she was. Attention is paid to every detail.world class.highly recommend

My husband and I are visiting from overseas and our cousin invited and booked us a table for dinner at The Chase. This is definitely a dinner we will always remember. The food, service and ambiance was just perfection from A to Z! We ordered Burrata, Mushroom, and the Scallops for appetizers. We ordered steak with sides of asparagus and Brussels sprouts for our entrée. We then ended our meal with the Sticky Toffee Pudding, Lemon Meringue cake tea and coffee. I've got to thank Chad for his amazing service and recommendations. He made our experice that much better.

For me I highly recommend the Burrata and Scallops they were both divine. I'd come back and savor those two appeizer dishes on any day. The creaminess of the burrata, paired with truffle is so good, it made my heart happy! The freshness of the Scallops and symphony of flavors in the sauce was absolutely stunning! The steak was cooked to perfection and the mustard jus with the mushrooms on top was absolutely delicious! Smooth like butter. The asparagus had great grilled flavor topped with crushed hazelnuts for a toasty nutty crunch I appreciated and the brussel sprouts had a very yummy caramelised flavor and a tossed in beautiful sauce. The sticky Toffee Pudding will send you to cloud 9. A must in my book.

The food was absolutely amazing, steak was cooked to perfection, lobster and crab meat were perfectly prepared, and the drinks were exceptional. The bartenders and servers were very pleasant and accommodating. Bathrooms were very clean. The only downside to the atmosphere was the patio view, there is just way too many buildings around, but if you like the view of buildings, it is fine. Definitely an upscale and fancy place to dine.

My friend and I had a wonderful Friday evening at the Chase. We were not rushed, we enjoyed great conversation with everyone there from the manager, our waiter and the service staff. It was obvious everyone works well together and enjoys what they do and appreciate their guests. Food is fabulous, the view from the 5th floor was like looking out at a "snow globe". Thank you!

I had such a lovely time at the Chase. From the menu to the drinks everything was so delicious. I would highly recommend going there on a date night or if you just want to go with your girlfriend. The executive affair is such a good drink. Try it out! I will come back again! Service was 10/10

Fantastic service with an amazing atmosphere. The only criticism in would be that I found the tuna to be a bit oily but otherwise, it was fantastic in flavour. The lobster roll, crab, and octopus were pretty good too but it wasn't that exciting

Had a lunch meeting of 10 people at The Chase, very comfortable, great food and fine service. I had the lobster roll entree, very good!

Fine dining restaurant in a good location in downtown Toronto. Great presentation and tasty food. Expect roughly 50$ per dish plus taxes. Book a table ahead of time. We sat outdoors with ambient candlelit tables and umbrellas atop to keep us cozy on a late fall evening. Limited menu for vegetarians but whatever is (two mains I think) is promising. Halibut and scallops ordered by my group were great. So was my vegetarian dish snd the banofie pie was amazing too. One sits nestled in a cozy patio immediately surrounded by much taller buildings. Staff was cheerful and courteous. Must go for connoisseurs.

Beautiful, elegant restaurant with a wonderful menu. The cocktails are really delicious and the food is amazing. The maritime lobster was delicious, although we expected more lobster. The oysters were amazing as well as the halibut. The beef tartare was very well made, I really recommend it. I would not go for the octopus again, it was not as great as the rest of the food.
The staff was really friend and overall it was a magnificent experience.

Decided to celebrate my birthday at The Chase and it was a wonderful dinner. The food and drinks were delicious. My favourite was the beef tartare, rabbit pasta and espresso martini. Its been a few days and I'm already craving everything I had! I'll definitely be back soon. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Excellent service and food. Recommend to dress to look a bit formal to fit in (lol). But casual is fine too, might be a bit uncomfortable depends on your personality. No one was wearing hoodie except for me

This was my first meal at this restaurant. They are well stocked with seafood, which is prepared just slightly differently from the norm. This is a high-end restaurant with a terrific view of downtown that we will return to!

This our go to celebration restaurant. The food is to die for and top notch service. We are never disappointed.

It takes great efforts to maintain standards after covaid. This place has done that consistently. Last time I visited was in 2020 and they still had best hospitality and great food and drinks. Cocktails were perfect, food was good. Great choices for vegitarian as well. The chase will remain my favorite place in Toronto.

We finally visited The Chase TO and the food was very good.
We ate the salmon and the pasta dish that was a special.
We really enjoyed our meal, the temperature was just right, and you could taste each ingrident.
The view is lovely, though it rained so we went inside

Lovely place to eat. Food was delish. We had lobster roll, halibut and sea bass. All great choices. Staff was amazing. Super courteous and attentive. I highly recommend this place. We had an awesome time. Thanks.
There is construction going on around the building so outdoor might be an eye sore.

Everything was amazingly delicious! Service was really good, they were very friendly, accommodating, attentive. Lovely atmosphere on the rooftop. Had Dungeness crab, tuna ceviche, scallop entree, and Black Forest cake.

My wife and I visited for our 2nd anniversary. After a round of drinks and the crab appetizer I was going to give this place a 3/5. The app was very good but not sized to share and would have benefited from adding a cracker or bread of any kind. Once we got our mains though, amazing. The halibut was excellent, cooked to perfection and paired with corn and mushrooms, not a combo I would have picked but the dish was a 10/10.

Overall the service was friendly but not personable. The atmosphere was romantic but cold. For the price I would expect a little more but all in all it was a good time.

My boyfriend and I went there for our anniversary. The appetizers weren’t really special but the entree’s were amazing. We had the sea bass and halibut. Both were exceptional. We also had 2 cocktails that were really good as well. The desert wasn’t that special but it wasn’t bad. The service was okay too. Overall I recommend the restaurant for a special occasion.

I want to give it 4.5 but the staff make it a 5. The food is excellent, the service is super attentive, the atmosphere is romantic indoors or out. Really a great place. It is clear that post pandemic there are challenges (not just at here) and they have work to do in syncing the kitchen and the floor, restocking the wine cellar etc. Don't let any of this stop you, its totally worth it.

Not worth the price and the staff were very rude doesn’t have any manners how to deal with customers

We went for Winterlicious lunch with friends. Service was immaculate. Food was amazing. Especially Caesar salad, moules &frittes and sticky toffee cake were so delicious. The size of the chowder soup was very very small at the licious menu but other items had big portions.

Always loved going to The Chase, pre-lockdown, and ordered a great meal through Tock during the lockdown for a recent dinner treat. The food was the same great quality we are used to enjoying in person, and Vito went over and above to ensure our food was delivered safely. Already looking forward to returning when possible, and truly appreciate the level of service and care put into our new take-out experience.

(This happened on September 25,2020.) Great food, great ambience, but lack of service! We were seated in the patio, was given time to look through the menu. It literally took the waitress about 5 minutes to come to ask us what kind of water we’d like. After another 5-10 minutes, she came back and asked us if we wanted any drinks. Our drinks came and it literally took her another 10 minutes before she came to take our order. The worst part is, we could see them all socializing by the bar. The restaurant was quite dead during the time so the service should have been more efficient. Maybe less socializing with coworkers would have sped things up. Eventually, we asked if we could be seated indoors instead. We moved indoors and the service was much better compared to service provided outdoors. The food was delicious. At the end though, we felt as if we were being rushed to grab the bill. We understand there is a 2 hour limit during COVID, but it was due to slow service from their end which made us waste time. Maybe try recommending dessert?

Most likely not going to be coming back. Really disappointed because I was looking forward to trying out this place. But now that I have. I don’t want to come back again.

Amazing place for seafood lovers. I've been here for lunch, cocktails and dinner and have been consistently impressed.

It was a special occasion and so I decided to order something a bit fancier. Normally, I wouldn't think to order high-end takeout but I have to say it was definitely worth it. The food was fantastic and as I had a big order, they even included an extra appetizer. I imagine higher end restaurants must be suffering a lot due to covid-19 restrictions so given that and my experience I would encourage everyone to order a great meal here one day. Just because it is takeout doesn't mean you can't treat yourself.

I had a reservation last night at The Chase for my mothers birthday. It was my first time coming to The Chase and my experience was positive right from the get go. The wonderful lady downstairs was so kind to us and had a conversation with us while we were waiting for the elevator. Then our server (Shawn) was absolutely amazing and made our experience ten times better. As soon as we got to the patio is was still extremely cold (even with the heaters) and Shawn immediately moved us to another table and put two extra heaters for us (which I appreciated so so much). Then, when I asked about our dietary restrictions he automatically went to the chef and marked up the menu telling us exactly what we could and couldn't eat, along with telling us what modifications we could make. He then gave us complimentary drinks and brought our food in a timely manner (basically instantaneously). Then I asked if they could do something for my mom's birthday and he said he already had a note and candle prepared and he would be bringing it out with our desserts. At the end he asked us if our food was good and was so kind throughout the entire visit. The food was amazing and the portions were fairly large (which we absolutely did not expect), HOWEVER, the real star of the night was the amazing staff and the even more amazing Shawn. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you are celebrating a special occasion and truly count your blessings if you have Shawn for the night <3

Came here for dinner with a friend who high recommended this place (pre-lockdown). It did not disappoint! The service was incredible and the food was divine. Would definitely come back once the COVID craziness is over. Craving the desert!

Amazing patio experience during the Covid lockdown. Food was exceptional. Tons of heat lamps - we had 3 for our table alone. Service was attentive and quick. All staff wore masks at all times. Will definitely go back!

I had Hennessy in Toronto at least in 40 different bars and restaurants dbut here they charge me more than twice. Definitely it’s not a $$, it’s a $$$$. Too much noise on the patio because of the construction.

I wouldn’t have lived by myself not giving this place a Five star! Well deserved! Check it out and you won’t be disappointed!

The heated patio is where you should be now. The menu is not very big but has a variety of options. If you’re a seafood enthusiast definitely worth checking it out. The food is decent but a bit pricey.

Came to this beautiful restaurant for my birthday. Food and services were amazing. Highly recommend to anyone whos looking for great food, great vibe, great services!

Decided to brave COVID and head out for our first dinner since the pandemic hit in March. It was our anniversary, so what better time. First off, its so difficult to find a nice restaurant that's open on Mondays. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that The Chase (which we'd heard of through friends) was indeed open. We were nervous because of the Pandemic, but the restaurant made us feel very comfortable from the beginning. I reserved us a spot on the patio and had a reminder email and text message a day prior to our reservation reminding me that masks were required in all indoor spaces including the lobby and elevator. Once we arrived, we were escorted to a candlelit table on the patio. I can't say the view was incredible, as there was construction happening across the street at an office building, but how many restaurants downtown can boast of a nice view? There weren't a ton of people and the tables were nicely spaced out. Social distancing was definitely being maintained. We had two servers helping us, but i can't recall either of their names. Both were masked and very attentive. I ordered an old fashioned with our appetizer of crab cakes and shrimp cocktail and everything was excellent. The seafood was extremely fresh and tasty. We had the duck breast and steak for our mains. I don't love duck, so ill let my wife review her experience with that. The steak was delicious. Perfect sear on the outside. Juicy and tender on the inside. A really nice medium rare. We also had the fries and crispy artichokes. Both were delicious. For desert, we tried the chocolate peanut butter bar and it was awesome. A nice touch too with the little piece of chocolate that said happy anniversary on it. The ONLY minor complaint would be that they either don't have a wine list, or didn't want to give it to me. Their menu has a small selection of wines on it, but I was considering a full bottle. When I asked for the wine list, the waiter just brought me back the original menu. That pretty much decided it for me as my wife wasn't really interested anyway. Small potatoes. The whole experience was great. Highly recommended.

What a perfect place! Met up with some bffs after haven’t been out for a long time and did restaurant hopping, our third destination was The Chase and it was the highlight of our night! Staff Ambiance Food Feel good! We will be back to have a full meal soon!

It has been quite a long time since my last visit to The Chase Toronto. Located at the fifth floor at the historical building, The Chase is no doubt a great fine dining restaurant for dating. The environment is romantic, the waiters are nice and welcoming. We ordered a pearl seafood platter, 8oz PEI striploin and lobster pasta. The $75 platter comes with four oysters, two shrimp, two pieces of tuna, two tiny snow crab leg and a few little pieces of octopus. Well I prefer the seafood platter from Blueblood in terms of price and quality. The striploin is a surprise, very tender and high quality of steak, but it really doesn't look like 8oz. The lobster pasta is a disaster, so cheesy and salty. Salty to a point that have to drink many cups of water after eating. I really regret to order this main course. We finish up with the apple pie for dessert. A lovely dessert to share, lots of apple inside the pie, not too sweet. Overall, i have a feeling that the restaurant is going downhill.

Food’s ok, but there’s more focus on decor and exotic ingredient names and descriptions to pump up the value, which ends up costing you more than your paycheque.

Also, sat on the patio for dinner, but no candles on tables.

Went for the dinner with my wife on Friday night without reservation and we lucky to get the seat at the 5th floor by the bar on the terrace. The atmosphere is really nice, the city backdrop is great. Despite the little incident (cocktail got onto my pants), we really enjoyed the food and the evening that we spent there and staff took good care of us. Would definitely come again

We shared the tuna appetizer, which was a perfect start. For the mains we had cod and bison short ribs - they were fantastic! Even the fries were surprisingly good.

Through the night we were enjoying whiskey sour and one of the cocktails from the menu - don't remember the name - with tea and lavender. Highly recommend!

Feedback: about the food & the service my course came after a long wait, it was cold.
I asked the server several times very kind guy but still no respond. I was extremely hungry I had to eat it that but it was delicious I only wished it was warmer.

I haven’t even gone to the restaurant yet and I’m already appalled by the customer service. I booked a reservation on Monday for Thursday night dinner. Wednesday at 8: 35pm the restaurant cancels my reservation and I get an auto generated email notifying of the cancellation. No explanation or rationale as to why. I tried calling the restaurant directly and had to leave a VM. If this is how they deal with customers before they even enter the restaurant, I’d rather not make it through the doors!

Spectacular city view backdrop view. The vegan option "Peas" is unique and delicious. Our server was very attentive and professional. Its clean and modern chic yet intimate. I only have good things to say about this reastaurant, wonderful experience!
