Always a joy to bring my partner here. It's one of only 2-3 restaurants that he can eat at because of allergies, and cross-contamination issues. Thank you for always making us feel "normal" and for helping us have a great Date Night out!
Server was nice and speedy! However I asked the guy at the bar to change the channel to Thursday Night Football and he outright said no cause he was to busy. Got stuck with CTV news at 10pm. Fun right?
Service was friendly and fast. Had the Sunday night special of Sheppards pie for$10. It was excellent! Added a Butler beer for$6 and it made for a satisfying inexpensive evening out.
First time here for a birthday get-together and it was amazing! The food, drinks, and stuff were all exceptional. The portions are VERY generous and they even have karaoke nights. What's not to love?
Thank heavens for them they have a nice patio. The staff mostly try hard. The menu selections are pedestrian. But my biggest problem is the mediocre and lamestream beer selections that you can get in any pub anywhere. There's nothing special that would make me cross the street.
Our local at home is the Churchmouse so had to try it's namesake. Daz had 4 different 1/4s of beer so happy bunny. Food great particularly sharing starter of hummus olive naan and salad. Shepherd's pie special also good choice. Friendly place
Came in on a Sunday afternoon, with a group of 7 and had the absolute pleasure of being served by Nate. What an AMAZING down to earth person, who also happens to be a top-notch server. We were all from out of town and, I must say this is the best service experience I've had in the entire city of Toronto! Thank you so much, Nate!
Grab a table with few friends on the patio, watching people passing by. What a lovely hangout:) Pitcher of Sangria and shareable calamari were good here. I was recommended Chicken curry but I found it okay. _. But great experience overall
The quality of the food has always seemed to be better than other similar pubs and restaurants. They obviously have good kitchen professionals working there. Beer specials are great as a pint of beer in T. O.is an expensive experience these days.
Food was great, tried the butter chicken mac and cheese and the cod fish and chips, as well as 4 beers, the selection was decent. It was full so we had to eat at the bar, which was more pleasant than I thought it was going to be. Bathrooms were tidy, price was fine. The staff was very friendly too.
Right on Church, two floors, nice outdoor patio. Good selection of beer on tap, including Batch, an excellent IPA from a regional microbrewery. Good vibes, which always are here in this area. Good pub fare
It was Pride day and pa le but they took the time to find us a patio table. Nachos were not bad, but all the goodies were on the top layer only, which was too bad. Great service.
Sat put on the patio for lunch on a nice sunny day. The menu is small and a bit limited, offering basic pub food. Pretty standard but tasty. A great place to soak in the atmosphere of the Village at Church and Wellesley.
Atmosphere great, nachos taste good but not "fully loaded" as described plain.very basic.price too high.service was alright a little slow but expected on a busy weekend.
On this beautiful sunny afternoon the terrace of the Church mouse is very pleasant with its sun umbrellas. The staff is very friendly and patient. No pressure to order. The terrace faces another pub the church garage with its music and ambiance. The Church mouse is located in a lively neighbourhood with busy pubs and terraces. A great place to be!
Not highly impressed by the Churchmouse. Your standard Firkin fare, over priced and average. They did not have a personal-sized platter of nachos which was disappointing and were out of a couple items I had asked for. Otherwise, the atmosphere was very nice and patio was lively and fun. I would go back but maybe for drinks only.
Nice atmosphere and great service. The food could be better. I ordered the fish and chips and while it tasted good, the fish had onions in it which leads me to believe that instead of using a piece of fish, they grind the fish up and add fillers to save money.
Fries was cold at first but second one was good my server was so friendly and she was so sincere also ambiance was ok too but omg that pasta and chicken was tasting so bad tried to eat but specially the after taste.they take it out off the bill it was nice of them
Good food, lots of beer on tap (and Strongbow if you can't have gluten) and plenty of great cocktail options. Lovely waitstaff, nice patio (and AC indoors) in the summer. Only downside is upstairs is often closed for events and it can become difficult to get a seat.
I love the atmosphere and ambience of this place. Staff is amazingly nice, best season to attend is on summer for the patio, however.since it’s a famous place it’s always full, so pack some time before you attend. Food is good and great portions, the prices are good as well, it’s a great place to get together with friends and chil out a bit while have some food ️
Dropped in the other night, had a couple 9 oz glasses of white wine at the bar, got a bill of $33.90, way too expensive, was not impressed. I won't be back.
Love this place! Such a great atmosphere and MacKenzie behind the bar is the most great! I will 1000% be back and would recommend this place to anyone!
Standard place but given all the other possibilities in the area that would be more interesting, this wouldn't be at the top of my list again. The menu is the usual Firkin offering and the seating area is a bit on the cosy side. Don't go in expecting anything exceptional and you won't be disappointed
