I got my new passport in 7 days! What a surprise!

I came to Toronto to apply for an h1b visa, but unfortunately the visa was refused because my passport was seriously damaged. I ran to the consulate early that morning. The sister at window 3 of the consulate carefully understood my situation, gave a detailed explanation, and then gave a specific next step plan. The next day I received an email that I could submit documents to the consulate. I originally thought I would have to wait at least a month or two, but a week later I received an email that I could pick up my certificate! On the day I got my passport, I learned that I was given a green channel so quickly. I was very grateful that the consulate was so user-friendly. The young lady at window 3 was very gentle and told me to take care of myself alone in Toronto. Thanks again to the consulate!

I had my passport renewed in May, a very good experience! Thanks to the digitalization technology, the document pre-check on consulate App works pretty well and saves a lot of trouble, which is normal in China but still rare in other countries. After submitting all the information on the App, my application got pre-approved in exactly 2 weeks as promised. Also, the staff replied my email and called me when I tried to double check some details, very helpful.

The consular mailbox on the official website of the dignified Consulate General is actually an invalid email address. Other business offices have used Gmail mailboxes for many years. My official website has stated that the gmail mailbox will be deactivated on February 6,2023, but the sad thing is that when I wrote to the correct mailbox after this date, the staff responded and asked me to send a letter to that gmail. I am speechless for ten thousand words at this time. Every email address on the official website was trying to get me to contact another email address, and I kept going in circles here. In order to go through the formalities, I knelt down and wrote n emails, and was kicked n times, but to no avail. Sun Tzu is so jealous! When I applied there many years ago, I was also scolded in a contemptuous tone by the ancestor at the window, "You can't even fill out the form, you can't read! " Everyone who goes there to do business has their tail between their legs, but they still have to be straddled around their necks, which is a bit too much! Every time when I was there, I always got helped from the staff! Also they are always trying to help everyone as quick as possible with their professional and kindness. I remember there were two times when I was there for my father’s visa and other stuff, without their help, I would not be able to complete the applications with necessary tasks.and without their help I would need to spend much time to travel back to do it again. We applied for a travel permit for our children. We followed the process on the online app and even filled in the wrong information. However, the guy wearing glasses was very patient and helped us. During the process of filling in information, I saw a rude person who deliberately made things difficult for the staff. The young lady inside kept explaining patiently. As a bystander, I was so angry that the staff was still very patient. I really wanted to give him some help. Big thumbs up to the embassy staff! Every time I open a comment, it's a bad review. Now it is online and fully open. The embassy has not updated the status. Calls and emails are all very official answers. It takes six to eight weeks, maybe more than eight weeks. There are many applicants, hundreds of them every day. I have such an answer. Can it be understood that three years ago there were basically no people applying or there were not many people handling the business, so the speed was fast. There are so many people processing now, so the speed is very slow?
