The service is good, but the food is not worth the price. I prefer The Keg and Jack Astor's.

The chef creates these wonderful, delicious, unique dishes. The crispy bass whole fish is highly recommended. Honestly, everything I have had is amazing. The butterflied wings.lightly crispy on the outside.the meat so moist.a must try!

Always pleasant service, and attentive. The lamb, duck are signatures, in my opinion. Won't find any finer in Barrie. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Pricier dining but well worth it. Terrific service. The menu is loaded with dishes I would want. The dishes are tasty and I like the simple natural, subtle flavours.

Went with friends for localicious. Had the carrot and ginger soup with pecan crusted chicken and raspberry chocolate dessert. Husband had Caesar salad, veal with pasta and apple crisp. Everything was delicious. Our server was a very friendly polite young man.

I went for dinner with my friends and we were super impressed. Food came super quick and everything tasted absolutely delicious. Staff were so welcoming and very friendly. The atmosphere inside was perfect. Definitely recommend!

This was our first time dining at The Crazy Fox Bistro, and having read some reviews online, I was a little skeptical. I'm very pleased to say that I had nothing to fear.
During the course of our dinner we ordered 2 appetizers, 4 entree's & 2 bottles of wine. The service for all of it was top notch, very friendly and attentive staff (but not too much so).
The quality of the food was excellent. I've been struggling to find a great steak dinner since Covid, and finally I found it. The Rib Eye dinner was superb, as was the Salmon & Prawns en Croute. The portions were very good, 2 of us asked for a take out container. It was so good, I wasn't leaving it behind. I'm really looking forward to a return trip.

The best fillet mignon I have ever eaten! From the appetizers, to our dinner, to the dessert, everything was incredibly delicious. Awesome atmosphere and outstanding service. Thank you for making my birthday dinner a great evening. We will definitely be back!

This used to be our go to place in Barrie; fantastic food, diverse menu, and good price. We used to order from here every three months, bang bang shrimp (solid), pecan crusted goat cheese stuffed chicken (sublime), and whatever I would order (can’t go wrong with anything on there). This would come out to around $70.
This past time we went with our regular order (liver and onions for myself, the cheapest option I go with) and come to find out the final bill was $100, over 40% increase.
Going forward we will be once a year based solely on the quality of food, can’t fault them there. Hope the price increase was worth the loss of our frequency.

My husband and I took my parents out to dinner at the Crazy Fox Bistro for the first time and we will definitely be coming back. What an amazing experience, the staff are very polite and courteous, great atmosphere and the food was phenomenal.

Came here for a dinner with my girlfriend for the first time on Saturday Oct 15,2022. Had a reservation at 6: 30 pm but couldn’t make it due to some last minute issues. I called in at 6: 15 pm requesting if it could be pushed to 8: 00 pm and the receptionist was very understanding, courteous and accommodating. I arrived at 7: 55 pm and was seated immediately. The wait staff was very attentive and explained the specials and menu very well which made making our decision on choice a lot easier. We started with the tuna appetizer served in two ways. For entrees we got the ribeye steak and lamb chops. Both the appetizers and the mains tasted amazing and were cooked to our specified doneness. Our only complaint was that it did seem a bit cramped as our table was really close to our neighbor. Overall the food and customer service was great. The price was reasonable for a higher end restaurant and we do feel we got the value for what we paid. Would definitely come back again.

Visited here for dinner with my boyfriend. Everything was so delicious and staffs were nice:) We tried lamb steak for the first time and it was really good! 10 out of 10

Six people for dinner. Amazing service, great menu, chicken was overcooked x3. Price was 75/person including drinks, apps and dinner, coffee.

The food is fantastic. I had the salmon dish feature, which is not the same salmon dish on the menu. My wife ordered the salmon plank dish from the menu and the feature option was much better, as it came with a delightful sauce.

The rest of our party ordered the pecan crusted chicken, the bacon wrapped filet mignon, the pan seared pickerel and an off-menu item; a vegan mushroom risotto. Everyone said that their meals were extremely good.

We also had a few appetizers; chicken wings, bruschetta, salad, etc.and those were all great too.

Our only bit of constructive feedback is that the washrooms are not wheelchair accessible. We had a person in our party that recently had major foot surgery and he had to walk down and up two flights of stairs to use the facilities. It would also be nice if they had some better desert options. Perhaps add some sort of cheesecake or iced cream cookie dish. A vegan desert option should be offered too, since they offer off-menu vegan mains.

Overall, it was still a very good experience. The staff is super friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is great.

Absolutely wonderful wonderful food the service is out of this world the atmosphere is so inviting within moments you just melt into the atmosphere it's so inviting I recommend the crazy Fox to anyone

Very nice fine dining experience on a Thursday evening. The food was delicious and the servings were the right amount for me. Our server was great and was able to accommodate our requests. I believe they were slightly understaffed as our server was also doing the job of the host and the food took a little while to arrive. The doneness on the lamb I ordered was medium but as you can see by the photo it was a little under. Still, everything tasted great and it was a very good evening out. I look forward to being back.

We enjoyed our dinner and experience here. Service was great and the food was good. We got the escargot, bang bang shrimp, lamb chops, pickerel, and raspberry truffle wedge. Portions were okay for the price, and all of our food was well cooked. We’ll be back:)

Absolutely exquisite, Euro feel, with a solid menu for food and great wines. Service impeccable.

Definitely have to go back to try other items on the menu.

We just had the Localicious menu for the first time and it was so delicious! The pecan, goat cheese chicken with the maple butter has become one of my favourite dishes I've ever had. I will definitely have it again and again!

My husband and I ordered the grilled salmon filet dinner that came with jasmine rice and fresh veggies also a salad and spinach cream soup not in that order:) Everything was good except that the rice was undercooked not el dente but undercooked (I am a food service professional). The staff was courteous and offered to replace it with ' baked potato '. Because we were done with our meal by the time the potatoes arrived (Deep fried wedges of potatoes) we didnt have the appetite to eat fried potatoes at the end of the meal. All in all a decent place/patio with courteous customer service.

My Wife and I had dinner here last weekend. From start to finish the dinner was exceptional! The restaurant is warm and inviting with friendly staff and a great menu to choose from. We will definitely be coming back sometime soon!

I was here for a work Christmas dinner. Atmosphere was great. Food was amazing. Best Bang Bang Shrimp I have ever eaten, and an amazing Filet Mignon.

My only criticisms are parking (its limited) and the stairs (there are potentially many depending on where you are seated and if you need to use the bathroom).

I’ve driven by this place a million times! What a gem! Went for dinner during Barrilicious with my husband, two friends and their 10 year old daughter, and my 3 month old daughter. I had the pear tart, pecan crusted chicken with goat cheese, and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Also, they were extremely accommodating to place us in a location that my daughters car seat could sit out of the way of foot traffic and I could watch her the whole time. The service we received was great all around.
The washrooms are located down a few flights of stairs, and I don’t believe wheelchair accessible if anyone requires that or has limited mobility. There is also no change table for babies but we made due.
Will definitely return!

Awesome food friendly staff. Had a Christmas function here. Prices are reasonable considering the quality. Had lobster grilled cheese sandwich, dry jerk wings, duck confit and flat bread, cajun liver bites, bang bang shrimp, and several other items. Got gift certificates for my wife. Was a great bistro.

The food was very delicious and the presentation was also good. I like the way they treat their customer. The atmosphere was cool enough. The staff was also very cooperative and the fully take care of their customer's need. Price was also decent for the food and service

Food was amazing! Service was good, we had a longer then expected wait time though which was unfortunate, but we would still return with better knowledge of the wait time.

This is a special place to enjoy a meal. The rates are a bit higher than the average restaurant, but this is fine dining. It's local, unique, and candle-lit. The service is friendly, and the plates are divine. Some favourite dishes are the sesame beef salad, and any of the creme brulee options that the establishment cycles through.

Went for a romantic dinner with my girlfriend last night wasn't an empty table in the restaurant even people eating at the bar. Food was outstanding had the rack of lamb and my girlfriend the filet mignon can't wait to go back!

Bouffe correct: beignet de crabe sans goût, petit pain hamburger comme accompagnement, saumon trop cuit. L'ambiance est très bien mais les tables sont un peu collées. We visited the Crazy Fox Bistro last night for my birthday. Everything started off great, the service was good and staff were friendly. However, once we received our food things went downhill. The food was good, but the portions were very tiny. I never have a big appetite but 8 small ravioli-type pieces of pasta wouldn't feed a child let alone an adult. We had ordered a bottle of wine which the server had placed on a different, vacant table. Once we received our food they never came back to refill our wine glasses so I got up to get the bottle of wine to serve myself. When I did this, a different server who had ignored us so far snapped at me and said I shouldn't be doing that. Well it had been almost 40 minutes since my glass had been filled so I was going to help myself. No one came by to see if we were satisfied with our food or if we needed anything while we ate. Once we had finished eating it took over 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared. Dessert menus were slipped in front of us without anyone speaking. My boyfriend and I set a timer to see if anyone would come to take our order. After another 20 minutes with no acknowledgement, we flagged down the other waiter (ours was downstairs drying glasses at the bar), and asked for the bill. We paid and he said that our server, Kim, was busy, which is why she hadn't come by our table in the past hour. While I would have understood if the restaurant was busy, it was a Wednesday night and there were only 4 or 5 other tables of guests and we could see Kim standing by the bar the whole time. We left after an hour and a half, of which we were eating for maybe 10 minutes (again, small portions) without anyone saying have a good night, or acknowledging my birthday. The food was good, but not worth the prices and the service was atrocious. I would be hard pressed to recommend the Crazy Fox Bistro to anyone. On the bright side, the people at Zehrs where we did go for dessert were very friendly and helpful in selecting a cake.

Was super surprised on food quailty. Amazing. The decor and main sign is well. Very old. Modernize it and this place would rock. The food was very very good

Had the most fabulous lunch and you pay for what you get. The dishes were tasty, the wings were crispy and juicy, and the dips were incredible. The service was couteous and professional. Will come here again for sure. Highly recommend

Great food selection for everyone and extensive wine list. Staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. You will not be disappointed. When friends are visiting from out of town we always take them to Crazy Fox and they have nothing but great things to say. Highly recommend!

Our blind GPS find food adventure led us to The Crazy Fox. We were the first to arrive, even before the chefs, but the cozy, elegant, home like atmosphere and genuine service made us want to wait. So glad we did, the food amazing!
