The building's location is perfect for accessing parks, shops, and restaurants. The staff here are friendly and the maintenance is prompt whenever we need it.

Impressed by the expansive and elegantly designed apartments, offering both comfort and style.

I visited several units in this building to rent, I would say it was full of cockroaches. The salesperson was trying to make it normal and say it is rare! Building is very old, without any windows open. The owner of building I guess are cockroaches NOT humans. It is not a place to live! Sorry!

Bad no power for 4 days. The second time in a year. Saunas been closed with the same sign since start of pandemic

Back to back power outages for days in the past few months. These buildings need serious inspections in various areas.

The new elevator fob system is one of the worst improvements. They should revert it back to the normal way.

Positives: location, unit maintenance staffs.

Went to apply here today, but after my experience, I have zero desire to even consider living here, and would recommend people stay away.

Just know a request to pay your deposit BEFORE your application is accepted is NOT normal. Was requested I pay in CASH, also NOT normal here in Ontario. Feels like a scam.

Plus, the front of house staff were some of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. They made me feel like a criminal.

Would never live here. Should have listened to the reviews before I even step foot into the rental office.

No power for 3 says! You got old people living here on 20+ floors.people aren't able to take the stairs if they're not able bodied.do better, and be more transparent with the issue

It's a dirty place to go. The only thing worth hoingvthere for is dollarama, except, they're crazy expensive now too. Most items are way more than $1! Dollar tree is the way to go.

Don't live here but have friends in building I visit. Last while I see a lot of roaches bugs. And the people that are moving in are dirty weirdos most of them are from these foreign countries. Real strange characters. You got students from schools hanging around Dollarama every day. They are loud noisy giving me other people a headache. If your not buying anthing get lost. And then you have homeless people here especially a black guy that comes everyday here drinks beers in the mall on the bench one time he drank a whole 12 pack. Even security knows. They don't care. This building is a dump. Also Toronto sucks. Peel region is way better.
Overpriced rent. Over paid management

The management, super and security are all very abusive. This building hires the worst people you can imagine.

Manager there degenerate. Straight up.
Person in glasses. Very rude. I asked him
something and I didn’t got any answer.
He ignored me. Pretty sure, soon he’ll be
removed from this position. Disgraced.
What Goes Around Comes Around. This
principle is undeniable. Those buildings need good people to manage it. Not somebody like him. We need more
complaints on this bustard.

I had several packages stolen from the mail room, asked for the camera footage, they told that they would only release to the police, called the police and they told that they don't have camera footage. So they basically lied either to me or to the police.
Also, there is a cockroach infestation in the building.
The only plus side are the maintance staff, always very fast and polite, but the managment office they are very, very rude and deceiving.

Worst management ever. I never seen such attitude by people representing a rental company, and I'm not a tenant at the place. Read the reviews and make some changes as soon as possible.

The building location is good actually.
But the management are very bad and rude.
They decided suddenly not to allow bicycles in elevators and hallways, they have a very bad unsafe bike parking which is very hard to access to.
I was parking my bike in a random place outside the buidling, they cut my lock without a warning or a notice, the lock was 100$ value.
They didn't pay me for the lock and they kept the bike with them for 1 day, if i didn't ask them it was officially stolen.
After all of that the woman was so rude with me when i discussed that with them.

Nice view on top floor apartments and good mall downstairs+ right next to city subway but. Warning beware of the Cockroaches.

Terrible experience in less than one week we had cockroaches staff was considerably rude throughout everything, maintenance requests are not being done, all around a disgusting outdated building avoid living here at all costs.

The building is old and not properly taken care of. I honestly had no problems in my apartment as I keep it nice and clean. But what makes this place awful is the management. Everybody in the office is rude and unhelpful. If this was a different kind of business, people would get fired. They are still using the excuse of covid to take days to process maintenance orders and to keep the only amenity in the building close. They renovated the laundry room a few years ago, still it is always filthy and today (on a Saturday, when it is the busiest) there are at least 8 washing machines down. They are renovating the elevators as well and it is taking forever, when they said it would only take 3 months per elevator. I understand having one elevator down at a time for renovating, but it is usually the other way around and only one elevator works. There's supposed to be 24/7 security yet packages get stolen all the time, people litter and smoke right in front of the doors with no consequences.

I've lived here for over 20 years Its an older building so cockroaches are a given. People buy ADVION roach killer bait boxes or gel tubes WORK'S like a charm I love living here the management and maintenance people have always been professional, helpful and polite Daniella puts on a Christmas give away every year, they are always updating common area's, elevators are being upgraded BIG time They always post notices of services updates or unit entry necessity I have HEARD horror stories from other friends about the hell they go thru with their management companies I consider myself VERY Fortunate to live here Thank you to everyone associated with the Crossways

Guys, never ever even think of living in this place ever.this place us such a crap like I have never seen this before. Wrost ever exist in toronto. Top to bottom I can't even pin point single good about this building, inside apartment you will welcome with full of cockroaches, bedbugs, dirty old smelly, no security, thief coming almost everyday pick up your packages or anything, elevator stops working every now or then, no security camera at all, your car can be stolen anytime from parking pot even in day time.this all are nothing when it comes to the management.omgmgmgmgmggggggg.this people are crazy, dominating, dictator, insane, disrespecrful, rude, harras tenant even physically beat you if they want, they are racist, they will kick u out if you ask for help or report to building. Tenant will be treated as prisoners like they own you. They bully tenants show their power if you say something. I hunbly request to you people who pays their hard earn money to stay, who have family or couple and single person wants peace and security. This place is totally dangerous. Do not stay in this building, I'm not saying I faced this, I saw every other tenants in this building went thru same thing but lottttsssss of people didn't speak up n tell the truth, I understand they don't need problem for family. But to alteast those who s thinking of live in this place plizzzz change your mind, look for safer place.

Stay away from this apartment. The property manager has the nastiest attitude ever. Very condescending and Rude. I can only imagine what the tenants face with such a person. Poor tenants!

Excellent service. Very professional pawnbrokers. If you have valuable valuables, they will lend you the cash! Could not ask for more…use them when I’m in a bind, what a score, Queensglad Pawn on Queen in downtown Toronto.

Try to stay away from the Crossways buildings. The management is the worse. When you visit the units, the staff act all nice, but after you sign the form and deposit the money, they don't care about you and have a rude attitude. They act like you don't know what you're talking about, and the management will ignore you. They only want to make money of people. Rent may seem cheap, but it's not worth it. Pay $100-200 extra, and go live somewhere else where you will be in peace without roaches, bedbugs and rude management.

I moved in four days ago. I paid to have my locks changed a week ago and that still has not been done. My keys do not work for the laundry room and when I finally was let in by another resident, my card did not work for the laundry machine and I wasted detergent. I submitted a maintenance request form that will be going on day 2 of not being acknowledge. I don’t have any water running in my kitchen. Nobody will respond to any of my emails or calls.

Good location and clean building. Affordable as well for the GTA.
Management are always helpful and present. Highly recommend if moving to the GTA.

When I moved into this building in August last year, it was reasonably clean and maintained but beginning this year there have been significant changes; the laundry room is filthy, the hallways smell of decay and mold, they never vacuum the hallways and Wasteco only comes to empty the garbage once in 3-4 months. Overall the building has been abandoned and is in a state of DECAY. Do not move here, that would be a terrible mistake!

Rude management.
They threaten and scream at you. Infested with cockroaches.
Took the tenants to court to raise the rent above the legal limit and won.
Horrible place.
Horrible ethics.
Location is the ONLY plus and even then, there is no green space anywhere reasonably close.

The list goes on and on.

The lobby is the only nice thing about that building. The best day living there was the day we moved out.

FYI: The pool is typically closed half of the year for "maintenance".

I'm leaving in 2350 Dundas street west and I am very happy its very clean and respectful and amazing view i love this place it's perfect to live here

Spacious rooms with great views that you never get to see because the elevators don't work. When you do finally get there, you are greeted by roaches having a party.

Don't be alarmed. Be fire alarmed because those go off at least three times a week. Most often in the middle of the night.

I have been in this complex for nearly 15 years.
I love the location and everything that is available to me in the area.
Because the building is an older building the suites are large and spacious.
Try getting that these days!
The building owners and management have spent a lot of money re doing the mall and upgrading the building over the past 5 years.
As for safety, the owners and management have spent a lot of money making sure that the building has state of the art fire and safety!
Because of covid.the owners and management have spared no expense in all the safety to make sure their tenants are safe and abiding by the rules.
AS for management and ownership.
As long as I have been here the staff from cleaning staff to maintenance staff and the owners have been NOTHING BUT KIND AND VERY HELPFUL to me. Anytime I have need something fixed, replaced or otherwise, they have always been there and made sure the work was done second to none!
Now about the Owners and office staff.
One of my favorite things to do is take in my rent cheque to the office.the staff and owners are always very nice to me and always as how I am doing and ask if there is anything they can do for me.
In this day and age with all the hardships we are facing I am so glad that I have a beautiful clean and nice and safe place to call home!
This wonderful place has been my home for many years and will continue to be my wonderful home for many years to come!

I've lived here 7 years now. If housing isn't such a problem in the city, I would have moved out a long time ago already. Watch out for the two property managements (one's blonde with some botched botox and the other's brunette). Both have such a high regard for each other that the way they speak to tenants is borderline rude and absolutely disgusting. They threatened to "beat" my daughter just because she kicked the door. She is 2 years old. You really think a 2 year old's kick can do damage? I wish to god i can knock those bit**es off the ground and eat gravel.

The security guy (older short white/middle East) one refuses me into elevator twice, and tell me only 2 people allowed in the elevator, and he forces the door to close by using his elevator key.

First of all, I think he lives in the building as well, that day he was walking his dog, I am not sure he is allowed to use the key close the elevator door after his shift for his own good.

Second, the elevator is huge, and there is no rule says 2 people only.

Third, the person with him looks like his family member, so they can stand together as a group at one corner, and I can stand at another corner with no problem.

I am not sure why he is so rude and doing this to me twice.

Veeeery good city area because subway is right across, St. Michaels hospital nearby, Dentals and etc.

First floor has dollorama and other services in the building.

I personally appreciate service. Had an issue with the front lock, maintenance worker came same very day, fixed lock and polished everything else about the door he could think off. Feels like new, thank you!

Also internet providers have very good offers specifically for the building. (Big ones.)

The potential of this building is immaculate, but through horrendous customer service and cockroach infestations, it's leaving a horrible legacy for whoever opened this building.

Cockroach haven throughout the whole place! We see them in the transformed Mall downstairs. The Office personnel think its a joke and are very arrogant. DO NOT move here!

It's not the best plaza in the city, but recent renovation significantly improved it it. It also have a 2-hour free parking garage.

Worst building, dont ever book an airbnb in here. The building is old, full of insects, some have bed bugs.

Lived there for 3 years, and yeah, it's not super ritzy but it was convenient, decently priced at the time. After noticing I had a couple of roaches, the building fumigated free if cost. I started cleaning up all surfaces more and stopped seeing them.

Be careful! I lived here and every time I ordered online it was just lost and I did not know who took my package!

The only reason for someone to move in here is the convenient location.
Expect to lose half of your pay cheque for an old-looking apartment.
People at the rental office are the worst.
They pretend they don’t understand you if you come up with an issue.
This is an okay place to stay but never will be your home. Would rate 5 stars if the management team is replaced.

Roaches everywhere, units are spacious but way below living standards and the prices aren't even that great.

Building is showing its age and has been for a long time. Roaches everywhere and just overall untidiness. The hallways are gross and usually dirty, the tenants in the building stack their garbage in the chute room because no one seems to know how to put it down the chute. Don't let the lobby trick you, this place should be torn down.

I had my toilet clogged for 48 hours and the building manager said she is not cleaning my toilet that I must use the washroom in the laundry room! Rude staff that doesn’t answer service request and Discriminates against you when you request help!

Been living at 2360 Dundas West since Jan 2019. I was skeptic of this building due to previous bed bug reports and other complaints but I have been so happy living here. I have a bachelor apartment and have NEVER had any bug issues. Initially the bathroom exhaust stopped working so I filled out a form for work done. IN 2 days the management company sent someone to fix the issue. The guy also fixed my shower and I didn't even ask. I used to love in downtown and there tenants have to take care of these issues on their own. So happy to be living here. Thanks You Crossways!

I have been living in this building for a couple of years now. I love the location, I do not think I can find a better location.

The Management is good as long as you are not dealing with Elena. I referred some people to the property and they decided not to rent just because of the way she spoke with them. I can handle rude people but not everyone is ignorant. In addition, you will have to deal with the roaches problem sometimes. Overall, it is a good place, reasonably priced, nice and safe location and good people.

Not a great place to live in very small apartments and need a lot of fixing in them. Management is terrible they need to fix the appointments inside as well.yes they redid the mall lobby but apartments need it too not worth the money they are asking for rent

We moved in not so long ago, only like few days and We stared to see cockroaches and in washroom bathtub r all rusted and electrical wire hanging on floor like crazy, n so many holes under the cabinet where cockroaches r coming. N the next day we went to office to talk about those situations they told us to clean by ourself in a very rude way. So overall because of our room situation, I had to go office for help but every time I get very rude response.

These buildings are infested with roaches. Yes, they will spray. But it is at the end of the day pointless. The building itself is infested therefor the roaches return very quickly.

The people they hire to spray are unprofessional and only spray the kitchen.and bathroom. Which solves nothing, the roaches simply moving to where there is no poison.

Lived here for 3.5 yrs after coming to Canada, it was our first home and we did see some plus and odds as we do for every place:

Pros: -

1. They have good Spacious suites ranging in square-footage upto a 3-bedroom unit size.
2. Plus point is ONLY the Connectivity -
a) Dundas West Subway Station is right across the street which has Street Cars, subway and bus options.b) Go Transit right beside the building, 3 min Walking distance to Freshco, Shoppers drug mart, loblaws and LCBO
c) The Crossways complex has a mall connected to the apartment which has convenience stores, Dollarama, Toronto Public Health, LifeLabs, Beauty Salons, Mr. Yummy and a book keeping firm ~ very convenient during the peak winter.
3. Rent has hydro included.

Cons: -

1. Management is not friendly at all - you will get an attitude of they doing a favour of getting you the unit, even if your paying a high rent, they are still doing a favour.
2. They recently increased the rent to keep up to the market trends but they dont care to spend some dollars in maintaining the units.
3.29 floors with 4 lifts out of which only 2 work. - one for going up and one for coming down, so if you reside at a top floor- add an extra 30 mins time to ur travel.
4. Peak times have only one lift in working condition, sometimes hard for disabled people / pregnant women ~ the management should do a favour of adding a bench near the lift area on every floor.
5. Garbage Chute is never maintained - this is the problem coming from the tenants - some people dump the trash in blue bins or throw the trash untied without proper garbage bags.
6. Problem of bugs and cockroaches are extremely common and NEVER solved - they do a free pest treatment (even advanced treatments) but its of no use as we cannot get rid of these pests once and for all. If your neighbours have them, you have them too!

Bottom Line: - It is a 45 year old building with lots of issues that cannot be resolved at this stage. People move in here considering the location and its connectivity only.

The Crossways Mall is a great place to find a clean washroom in between job assignments!
It also has a Dollarama that you can visit to replace an item you lack, or might have forgotten at home!
Benches! It has 3 backless benches! They are generally occupied! That leaves you no place to sit!
I had a backache at one point and couldn't sit on the backless bench, so I sat on the floor, until a security guard came and asked me to get up! Had to sit outside on the steps, instead!

An aging apartment block from the 1970's. Like many apartment blocks of this vintage in Toronto, management has given the building many superficial facelifts to make it more appealing to prospective tenants (new lobbies, nice artwork in the office, etc), but most of the actual systems from the building are the originals from the 1970's (e.g. Heating/ac, elevators, electrical, appliances, etc) and are really showing their age. I'm pretty sure my stove is from the age when Trudeau I was Prime Minister.

My apartment had very scratched up floors and the same awful counters and cabinetry as the building had in the 1970's. Faux wood grain all around. Paint wasn't laid on very thick and rubs off easily and just in general very little maintenance work seemed to have happened between tenants. A lot of cracks in the floorboards and walls had to be sealed when I first moved in. Living above a busy GO train station also took some getting used to, but after a few months it stopped bothering me. If you're willing to put in the effort, though, you can make the apartment a nice place.

My experience with the people in the office has been pretty positive for the most part. Anytime something has broken, I've been able to get fixed pretty quickly. The workers in the building are generally pretty friendly and seem to do the best with what they've got to work with.

My particular apartment was a pretty good deal for a 420 sq.ft.air conditioned apartment and this building, for all of it's flaws, is the reason why I can afford to live alone in such a nice neighbourhood. The fact I'm beside both a major TTC station and the GO Transit Kitchener line also makes it super convenient. The view from my apartment is cool in kind of an industrial way (railway, old factories, brick buildings, etc), but if I just leave my building and walk for 10 minutes, I can be in Roncesvalles Village or High Park. Overall, I'd say it's a pretty good place for the price.
