The Deck Store (Toronto)

Would not recommend for big projects. We got our deck done back in June. After receiving the quote, I tried to convince my mom to go elsewhere, she refused claiming that these people were the best in the business and she would rather pay more for better workmanship and quality. For almost 200k, there are tons of deficiencies with the deck. My mom has told the rep about them but I’ve only seen her come out once or twice and nothing was ever done. My mom paid them off fully before these issues were addressed and they’ve washed their hands of us. Issues range from gaps in the deck boards, sloping deck boards, and water leaking in a couple of areas even though we paid for waterproofing. There are some huge abrasions in a few of the boards, they’re so noticeable that a couple of guests have pointed them out to us. Was told to wipe it and it would come off…doesn’t come off.

I just completed replacing the boards and railings of an existing deck that needed rejuvenation. I dealt with The Deck Store to get my information and materials. Stacy at the Arrow Road store was excellent. She was very helpful in explaining the different options available for both the composite deck boards and aluminum railings. She also did a great job in estimating the material needed for the job.

The delivery team was very courteous and professional. Very accommodating in placing the material where it would not interfere with the space needed to work on the deck. Dimi who coordinated the delivery was very pleasant to deal with.

I am extremely happy with the outcome and would highly recommend Stacy and team at The Deck Store.

From the get go my experience was great! I had many questions as this was the first time using composite, and Stacey was absolutely amazing she explained everything showed us photos etc.and sure enough the end result was beautiful our client was extremely happy! We could not have done it without the help and patients of the staff at the Deck Store specifically Stacey. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I recently purchased decking material from the Deck Store to replace a cedar deck. The staff was polite, knowledgeable, and reliable. We had a lot of questions and the Deck Store professionals were very patient - nothing was too much trouble for them. There were many different options and choices and the Deck Store personnel knew their product cold – the type of product, the quantity we would need, and the various colour options. And when we did make a decision the Deck Store delivered the deck material exactly on time.

My wife and I are thrilled with the end result. The deck has now been installed for a number of months and we still go out on it almost daily just because we like the look of it so much. It is a huge improvement over the cedar deck we replaced.
