The Dental Health Practice

On November 2nd, 2023, I had my regular appointment with Nada, an excellent hygienist. She explained to me all the procedures and took great care to make sure she had removed all the plaque from my teeth. I asked about the possibility of having an implant and she went way beyond the call of duty in answering all of my questions with very good advice. Dr. Leith, whom I was not scheduled to see, dropped by to say a friendly hello. I am very satisfied with the service I received. P. M.

May 12/22 update: received sizing for a new "night guard". The new process to photograph your mouth, rather than endure impressions, is fabulous and makes the process far more enjoyable. Well worth the investment in the new camera scanning technology, from a client perspective. Well done!

April 25/22: I always appreciate the dental services provided by hygenist Jennifer. She explains every step. Asked about my comfort during cleaning, and assesses my at-home dental practices. She is an excellent coach! Well done Jennifer.

Old post: Is it possible to have fun and receive expert dental services at the same time? Yes - at The Dental Health Practice. I am a nervous dental patient, but I have no fear or trepidation when going to dental appointments at The Dental Health Practice! We recently moved to Ottawa and were fortunate to choose The Dental Health Practice, after doing some research, as the provider of our dental services. Their focus is on "whole patient experience". The friendly atmosphere starts with a happy welcome from Chantal, at reception. The dental hygienists are fabulous - focused on understanding and addressing the patient concerns, explaining each step, and providing excellent advice and service. Normally Jennifer is my hygienist, but because of a scheduling issue on my part, I met for the first time hygienist Asarul, who efficiently completed my required periodontal scaling and root planing. He was fabulous, gentle, communicative, supportive and reassuring of a nervous patient, and ensured my experience was painless and therefore, stress-free! Txs! Dentist Dr. Janet Leith is calm, friendly, communicative, and very good. What I appreciate is the commitment from everyone in the office to ensure the client experience is excellent. As a former Director of a science organization, I look to see how organizations operate, and I see that the values and goals of the The Dental Health Practice are shared by all at. Well done all! Dr. Leith and her staff are incredibly kind, attentive and professional. I have been going to her for 15 years and the quality of care has not decreased. I have been a patient at The Dental Health Practice for 20+ years. Dr. Leith runs an excellent dental practice. Her staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. The office is comfortable and has state-of-the-art technology, and all Covid protocols are in place.

Terrible with children and staff were impatient. This is the type of place that makes children not want to go back to the dentist. Would not recommend.

I had a great experience. My hygienist was extremely careful to tell me what she was doing and to make my cleaning as pleasant as possible. She also taught me a great deal about dental health during the procedure, and chatted pleasantly throughout. I would thoroughly recommend her services.

As someone who continues to shake in her shoes whenever she visits the dentist let me say the shaking has stopped since I signed up as as patient with the Dental Health Practice. Everyone is so understanding, and kind, and - so far as I'm concerned makes the experience as pleasant as they can. So if there are others out there who have similar feelings of rank fear, put them aside. This is the best place to be looked after.oh, and I'm 81 and with a little help from my friends at the Dental Health Practice, I still have TEETH.

I've been here for years. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. The practice uses all the latest tools and is well equipped with all the necessary COVID protocols.

These are some of my favourite people! Never have I felt more welcome in a dental office. Their treatment plans designed for me have seen some of most improvement of any I've received from medical professionals. They are very patient with explanations and show a lot of empathy. I wish I had been going to them my whole life!

The clinic is clean and organized with special attention noted for COVID-19 protocols. All the staff here are exceptionally friendly, professional and skilled at their various roles. Our whole family has started going here and have been consistently impressed with the care we have been receiving. I would like to give a special thank you to Jennifer, Reem and Janet for our recent visit with our 4 year old daughter. She left the clinic talking non-stop about how much she liked going to the Dentist and since then has told everyone we've talked to about her experience. It is a big relief to know our child is in such great hands.

My first visit was a great experience, all staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful, excellent explanation of the procedure, detailed review of my mouth, their pricing is good for the pocket also. It was just as I read about their service online when I was choosing a dentist! I know I made the right choice for myself and family!

I had a crown come off and they were able to fit me in the same day. Fortunately all that was required was to cement the crown back on. I was only charged the emergency fee)

Felt very safe and comfortable with my first dental services visit since January. It's obvious that Dr Leith has done everything and then some to keep patients safe. The team is professional, Dr. Leith has a very pragmatice approach and I've always been impressed by the state of the equipment. I would definitely recommend this dental practice.
