Great budget friendly place to eat and drink. Ordered the chicken alfredo pasta, portion size is huge and honestly it can feed 2 people. Drinks are not bad either. I would come back.

Good food and cocktails at excellent prices, what more can you ask for? Service can be a little scattered when the bar gets busy but the good vibes more than make up for it. Being punk-rock themed it gets very loud sometimes so I would exercise caution if sensitive to high volume.

Cheap drinks, affordable food, a great service, and an awesome location close to a dozen different bars, restaurants, and clubs. We stopped here before a concert at the velvet, underground, and absolutely loved it. I would highly recommend this spot for a pregame before heading to a concert.

The service is a 9/10. The food is hit and miss. One thing for sure, the perogies taste exactly like the frozen grocery store ones topped with green onions.

We have mixed feelings about this spot. The back patio is hella cute, lots of booths and cool art, and good music. Drinks are an awesome price at about $7 per cocktail and the cocktails were dang good. My partner and I got the Strawberry Basil Gin Smash. It was refreshing a bit sweet with a great basil finish. The food was what would be expected for the price point, for just under $9 each. We got a quesadilla (no chicken, they don’t prep their toppings with the meat which is great for us veggies:) ) with fries and the cowboy dip (bean dip with feta and big slices of jalapeños on top), the dip was tasty but my partners one complaint was that they wished they had chopped them into smaller pieces. The jalapeños were big slices, and were overpowering. They are a spicy enthusiast and even for them the dip to jalapeño ratio was totally off, to balance the flavours of the sizeable jalapeños they would have had to provide 4x the dip. Would recommend slicing finely on mandolin or a fine dice. Lastly, we hate to say this but the service stunk. We were told to sit anywhere so we took the only open booth. Which still needed to be whipped down (totally fine) the issue was, when our server came to the table, she just took the napkins and swiped the table, leaving spilled fluids and food bits on the table. We had to ask her twice to clean it. She was not very attentive, she would ask a question and then run off. Overall, we had a decent time.

The absolute best bar I’ve ever been to, food is amazing, staff is amazing and thoughtful and the music is great! Definitely check it out if you want a fun night!

Got there considerably late but long til closing hours and the service was below good.
Waited almost 15 minutes to get a server notice us. Asked for wings and the server never even asked me which sauce I wanted.till she gave me my order and got hot ones (lol)
Had to move around my hands like crazy again to be noticed and get some napkins (even tho there were barely any people on the main room).
Good thing it's that prices aren't crazy and actually affordable but then got a bitter notice that they don't accept debit card? ! Only cash and credit? That's crazy

The food is always good. Our recent visit was a 4 stars because the fries were overcooked like it was almost hard. The servers are always nice and friendly but sometimes they take too long to do our request because they forget due to chitchating other customers or co workers.

We still love coming here on a not busy day with our toddler.

My favorite bar/restaurant in Toronto. Many options for drinks and food, all with good prices. Staff is lovely and everyone is so beautiful it could be movie set

I never leave reviews but wow. First of all, the waitress rarely ever came by our table, for the whole 3 hours we were there, we had to deal with old plates and glasses crowding up the table. The place was not even close to busy, I had to track her down to pay our bill, she was too busy talking to her friend at the bar. Next, I went to order a few drinks from the bar, I left the money on the bar top. Since people were around, I didn’t think anyone would take it, but they did. On top of this, I was forced to pay for these drinks again, although even the girl sitting at the bar beside me vouched that I definitely payed and she didn’t see anyone take the money. The bartender did give us a free shot to make up for this, but my 4 drinks still ended up being $90. They don’t take debit which is strange in 2022, if you don’t have a credit card, be ready to pay $3.50 to use the ATM. Lastly, the drinks were great but the wings were so salty I had to wipe them off before eating them. I would have told the waitress, but she never came by.

Went to the Dime for industry night and had the best time! Spencer was a great host. Definitely coming back next time!

Everything is good EXCEPT that horrible waiter guy with moustache whos working there only to loot customers money. He will show his true colours if he didnt get any tip. I was watching him sitting on each and every table with the customers for the payment part. I realised he’s looking whether customers are adding tip or not. I pressed no tip in the POS and he asked -Thats all? And said LOSERS Don’t come back.
He wore a hat and a loose shirt yesterday. There will be no third time im coming to this place unless i have confirmation that this guy is off this city.

Unlike the other warehouse bars - the dime has exceptional customer service and an inviting atmosphere.

Mikey was honestly one of the most professional friendly bartender I’d ever have always checking if I need anything, the music is great and the staff made me feel so welcome! Also heads up to Camille for making my experience at the bar better!

Decent place to visit. Food is good but when it's busy may be hard to get a drink. Overall really worth a shot.

Terrible service! Me and my group of friends (6) went there Saturday around 12am and was greeted nicely, we ordered our drinks and food together and sat there for 45 minutes and still not even a drink. Server acknowledged he was sorry we didn't receive anything yet but another 20 minutes and still nothing. An hour in total eclipsed and we decided to leave

We had a terrrrible experience at this place on the weekend. Felt like we almost had to bribe/convince them just to serve us. Along with the other reviews, we also got tip-scammed. Our servers attitude was negative and like we were annoying him asking to order food (after sitting for 45 minutes already…). This was a shame as the vibes seemed good and the back patio is comfortable and bright! Wouldn’t go here if you were planning on eating, nor ordering more than a single drink.

Just like every other reviewer. They run a tip scam. Beware when you receive your receipt/paying for your bill because they will not mention that they have already charged you a “service charge”. Nothing about a service charge was mentioned on the menu or communicated to us.

Because of my experience mentioned above I will not be returning. Dinning in means you should be receiving excellent customer service + experience + food. This place has failed on two of the categories.

The waiter kept rushing up to pay and was not able to split our bill across the table and have everyone pay individually because their credit card machine kept “dying”. Sorry, but that is not our problem. You are running a business and should hold your staff to a higher standard.

Super cool atmosphere, nice staff and the food was delicious! If you go, they have a drink called "sour key". Best drink ever. It's delicious and actually tastes exactly like a sour key.:)

Great price. Great service. Things were cheap but the taste was okay. Not great but not bad enough to throw away. I had the vegetarian quesadilla which was far better than the chicken pieces my friends had ordered. The nachos were fantastic thanks to the wonderful jalapenos but other items were just okay.

Very similer to el furnature (food price and overall vibe), although I prefer the menu here. It also has an awesome semi-covered back patio area with its own dedicated bar during the summer. Great spot for super cheap food and a live, fun atmosphere

Place is very economic to hangout and you can sit chat for as long as you want. The food is very cheap here and drinks are also with a minimal price. In good location and music is good.

A must go if you’re in Toronto. Everything on the food menu is $5.95 and the bartenders are so inviting!

The music is too loud. Oh, and don't order the Carbonara here, it is beyond awful, they put a ton of black peppers and other strong seasonings. The breakfast sandwich was good though.

Lovely little spot. Music and service is always very good and the staff are lovely and friendly. Food, you can't go wrong. Six dollars for all the plates, not going to win a Mitchellen star but super tasty and great value! Great little spot imo

If you are Looking for something affordable. Must try this place. Good food for the price.we sometimes go there for Sunday brunch. Not a big menu, very basic. $6 or something for everything. Easy going people and Friendly service.

Went here for the first time Saturday night. I wish I knew this place existed before. It was busy but the server came to us quickly with water and got our food order not too long after. The antijitoes were not too spicy and so good, the perogies were big and stacked high and cheesy. The chili BBQ sauce for the cauliflower and cucumber dish was amazing. Would definately come back here.cheap prices for great food.and the server was very attentive, I wish I could remember her name.we never had empty dishes sitting for long

I lived in the area 5 yrs ago and I don’t know why I didn’t even bother to check this little bar. It’s a gem spot around Queen St. West. Food is good and the staff is amazing. Shout out to Kylee for being such a wonderful kind.

This place is good for what it is. Cheap food that isn’t gonna blow you away but you might need after a few cheap bulldogs.

It's El Furniture Warehouse under a different name so expect an identical experience. A generously priced menu with a constant crowd to follow the savings.

Great little spot for hanging out with friends and all food items are one low price, yet surprisingly good for the price, especially if you are snacking along with some drinks, of which they have an extensive selection.

Food was cheap, but service was slow. Never got refills on water, and we sat for 10 min before the sever took our orfer. The patio is nice though.

Covered outdoor patio at the back. Heat lamps for chilly evenings. Cosy booths. Great little hideaway.

Seriously love this spot! Ambience is awesome and a great spot! Food menu selection is good and the prices are perfect for ordering a bunch of stuff and sharing. Don't expect the food quality to be tops when you're paying $5.00 a plate, but the concept in my mind works perfectly! The caesar's are amazing! The staff is super friendly and very accommodating!

So I went there at 1 am and sat at the bar. I was served with a drink and I was chilling. There after I was denied any drink and the reason was I had few drinks before coming here as it was a Saturday night. But clearly I was not drunk. When I asked to meet the manager. Bartender himself pretended to be manager and I further mentioned to talk with owner and bartender replied- “if I go to the owner he will never serve me drinks” my night was spoiled. Just for the info I am brown I am not sure but may it was the reason for that behaviour. I hope

I really like The Dime. The patio is so beautiful in the summer. They also have great drinks and of course great food for an amazing price. I recommend visiting this restaurant if you're in the area.

Staff are the rudest! If you're not a hot chick, like you or at the least somewhat know you, you're more than likely getting a bad service. I came in once for lunch, sat at bar, and the bartender served all his hot friends before me. After 15 minutes of not even getting acknowledged I finally walked out. Why the 2 star? Food is surprisingly good! Just unfortunate that once we got a piece of glass in our food. Not fun.
