The filet mignon was perfectly done and the sides were just enough. I went here with a client for a business meeting and it was perfect.

Wow, my fiance and I were blown away by our tour of The Doctor's House! We met with Angela and she was fantastic. She gave us a tour of the entire venue, gave us so much helpful information and answered all of our questions. She was incredibly professional and welcoming. After our tour we knew right away that The Doctor's House was the place for our wedding!

Update: We had our wedding here on Thanksgiving weekend and it was absolutely gorgeous! Our wedding coordinator Elisa was incredible. She was so helpful, quick to respond and kept us organized through the whole process. We got married in the chapel and had our reception in the Great Hall and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful backdrop to our special day. The service was fast and efficient, the bartenders were friendly and the food was delicious. We had many compliments from our guests about the quality of food! Our DJ VITO from Exclusive Entertainment was awesome! He checked in with us all night to make sure we were okay and he kept the party going! Our guests loved his music selection and he had us dancing all night long.

From start to finish, the crew at the Doctor's House will ensure that your special day is just that (and more). At the end of the whole process, whomever you work with, will end up being an extended member of the family. I have to give a special shout out to Angela and Elisa who went above and beyond to help curate an evening unique to our friends, family and, of course, us! The venue (The Great Hall) and the grounds speak for themselves and are stunning (perfect for photos). The food was incredible, especially the antipasto bar (biggest hit of the night) and the service was so professional and accommodating. Moreover, after all the food and all drink, the standard gets elevated even higher (if even possible) with resident MC, DJ and all around great guy Anthony from Exclusive (the in-house entertainment company) who had us dancing both slow and fast all night long. Anth will make sure whatever feel or whatever vibe you want your night to be will be done to the highest degree because that's what we the Doctor's House is about - setting the standard.

All in all, the people at the Doctor's House went beyond our wildest imagination and created an evening we will never forget. We never felt like a bother and someone was always a call away if we had any questions. Thanks for giving us bragging rights for the best wedding of 2023 (and prob forever tbh).

Everything about our wedding day at the Doctor's House was incredible! It is such a beautiful venue inside and out, tucked away in the cutest village and surrounded by a lovely picturesque garden. We had the Garden room which is my favourite room of all because of it's cozy intimate feel and gorgeous warm wooden accents with stunning chandeliers. We went minimal with our decor because the room speaks for itself — don't overdo it! I was also pleasantly surprised to find out we would have new chairs for our wedding day (which I believe are much more elevated than the previous ones) and the renovations to the bar were perfect.

Nothing compares to the food here (all our guests agreed) and the tasting was so lovely. Huge compliments to the chef and the restaurant staff!

On the day of the wedding everything ran smoothly thanks to our coodinators! Elisa and Angela are wonderful, kind women and were a great help when planning our wedding at the Doctor's House. Elisa was always there to answer my questions throughout the entire process to ensure the day would be everything I had hoped for. She was very accommodating. I am so grateful for her!

I don't have a single negative thing to say about the Doctor's House. Our day was a dream come true. The only thing I would point out to any future bride is that the grounds can be shared by up to 3 events in a day, which means you may need to pivot when it comes to taking photos. Just have a plan and share with your coordinator, they do their best to accommodate and ensure all couples are happy on their day. Thankfully there are a ton of great places on the grounds where photos can be taken if things don't go as planned.

All in all, my husband and I are so happy with our choice. This place will forever be in our hearts! Thank you Doctor's House <3

Would definitely recommend The Doctor’s House especially for a wedding. We just had my sister’s wedding there and Elisa and her team were phenomenal! They successfully turned my sister and her husbands dream into a reality. Everyone was so pleased with the beautiful venue and the staff, we got great feedback from friends and family. Elisa and Angela were so prompt at answering us throughout the planning process, the upcoming week and the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding we felt as prepared as one can be on this day lol. Everything was very organized/on track and when plans did change (as they do at weddings) her and her team were very helpful and flexible in order to get back on track! I would highly recommend this venue!

Known the venue for years. They care about their customers and extremely experienced (spanning decades) in hosting luxurious events.

We had our wedding at the Doctors House last week & it was amazing. Our day was perfect, the food was great and the venue was beautiful.
Amanda and Angela were great help for planning our day and ensuring things ran smoothly & Elisa was so helpful for our rehearsal.

It was so nice to have help for planning the wedding from experienced staff, to have the food right there and not need to worry about catering and to have somewhere to sleep at the venue as well.

The only thing I’d say, is that the suite could have been cleaner.
Otherwise, everything was perfect & our guests were extremely pleased as well!

I would recommend Doctors House to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue.

Although my fiancé and I have not yet chosen our wedding venue, we would like to let anyone who is considering the Doctor's House know how accommodating, professional, and nice they are. We strongly feel that Angela, who was our main point of contact, was the best part of the entire experience. She designed different quotes for us, each outlining the things we wanted for various dates and was so quick to respond to any of our questions. Thank you Angela for your amazing energy!

The Doctors House was absolutely amazing to work with in making our wedding day exactly how we had imagined! Angela was amazing when we first toured the venue and Elisa was incredible throughout the planning and day of coordination! We were able to use the chapel for the wedding and the Colony/Heritage room for the dinner and dancing. Such a beautiful venue with all of the wood accents. The dinner was delicious and all of our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would 100% recommend this venue and staff to anyone planning a wedding. We also stayed in guest suite 2 the night of the wedding which was super helpful in that we didn’t need to find transportation to another location. Thanks so much to The Doctors House, you were all amazing to work with!

Photographed one of my first weddings here back in 2015. It's a great venue especially for small weddings. Bridal suite, church, and reception are all within walking distance. There is also a gazebo in the back and the surrounding area is great for couple photo sessions especially during warmer months.

Food and service was also great from what I recall and parking is abundant. Highly recommend Doctor's House if you're looking for a wedding venue.

Me and my husband got married at the Doctor's House on September 24,2022. If I could pick 3 words to describe the day - it was magical, stress-free, and a good party!

We secured our date in Jan 2021, well over a year before our wedding, because I was anxious of the wedding rush once COVID restrictions lifted. Pro Tip: be proactive, do not procrastinate.

Aside from that, everything was flawless. From the planning to the day-of. Elisa and Angela were so informative and helpful with the entire process from logistics, to the day of coordination. We also booked Bridal Suite #1 Friday and Saturday night of my wedding weekend, and it was well worth it. Dealing and communicating with the Doctor's House was great! They answered all my questions, and the staff was so helpful.

We booked the chapel and the Country Fare for our wedding. And honestly, the Country Fare is the best room to book at the Doctor's House. It holds a decent amount (140-180 people), and it has this beautiful, large outdoor space that no other party can hang out or walk through, because that is all reserved for you. The Country Fare has this beautiful backdrop of trees, and has a beautiful fountain and gazebo as well, that you and your guests can take photos around. Our photos turned out wonderful.

The food was DELICIOUS! All my guests couldn't stop raving about it.

We have had the pleasure of working with Angela since 2019 for what was supposed to be our wedding in 2020 - which has been rescheduled. She is amazing! She’s great at what she does! Rescheduling was seamless thanks to her help! Though we have not had our event yet. Our friends and family who have, rave about the food and service at the Doctors House. We are excited to experience it!

I was a guest at a wedding a few weeks ago at the Doctors House and had such a great experience! I had a special accommodation with my food and had forgotten to tell the hosts. I spoke to Max and he was so nice and professional! He was truly a pleasure to deal with and even came to check on me personally afterwards. Overall a wonderful event and great food.

Had our wedding at the Doctor's House in September. Loved everything about the venue and the staff. We were treated extremely well and Elisa was such a massive help to us the entire way through. I'd highly recommend working with both Elisa and the venue in the future. We wouldn't change a thing!

My experience at the Doctors House was one I will never forget it was a delightful experience thanks to Max, I came to a wedding over a year ago and I wasn’t too impressed with how my family and I were treated but this time around it was amazing, and we’ll organized, he made everything fantastic and run smoothly, I will definitely be looking forward to coming back for future events and looking forward to working with Max again! Went for a wedding and the food was awful. There was a lack of communication amongst the staff and it showed in the service.
Temperature of food was sub par and the meat was tough and overcooked making it hard to cut and chew
There was a time this place was worth it but for what they are charging now there are so many other places that offer more value
Grounds are still the best thing about the venue

From the beginning until our big day, they were all so so helpful - communicative, quick to answer all our questions, attentive and mindful to all details. The food was delicious and our guests all commented on how outstanding the banquet staff was! We couldn't imagine our wedding anywhere else, so grateful to this team!

My wife and I had our wedding at the Doctor's House. We originally booked the wedding for 2020 but the date was postponed to 2022 because of the lockdown. Elisa and and the rest of the staff were super helpful and friendly. The venue is quite large and my wife and I were happy to see all the space was utilized by our guests and bridal party. Over all we were really happy with our experience at the Doctors house and we would definitely recommend it.

Nice place, a little dated but very nice and high end, also dinner will cost you about the same as your monthly car insurance.

My Daughter's wedding was at The Doctor's House. The venue is gorgeous, and unique. The food during cocktail hour was lovely, as well as the dinner served. The food, and bar service was above expectations. One word of advice is to read your contract well before signing so you understand all details. Angela was our original contact and booking person, and then Elisa. Both answered any questions and concerns quickly and were very helpful to plan and coordinate the wedding details with us. Elisa was present throughout the wedding and was a great help in making sure everything ran smoothly and on schedule. The Ceremony was in the Chapel on the grounds which was old and historic. Make sure to ring the bell after the ceremony. I can't say enough about this venue. Our experience was a good one. We will have great memories from the wedding.

The food was delioucious. The servers were very kind and helpful. However the room was very hot.

We had a wonderful opportunity to meet with Angela Lisi for our wedding tour. Even though it was early in the morning, Angela was full of energy and was so excited for us. It made us feel very welcome, we were shown the property and even though both of us have been here before, The Doctor's House and the grounds are stunning. Angela answered every single one of our questions and made the process with absolute ease compare to few others venues we have visited. We decided that this is a perfect place for a wedding, especially being in the hands of people like Angela. We strongly recommend to visit them and hopefully host your wedding here as well!

We had incredible service at our friends wedding we were invited to. It's very nice restaurant. The atmosphere was wonderful. Food and drinks were tasty. We had a lot of fun dancing!) Thank you for great service.

Cannot get over how gorgeous this venue is. Every inch of this place makes the most amazing photos.

All our guests loved here and said that the food was superb! (Especially the late-night poutine bar despite everyone was already so full of the delicious courses.)

This Mothers Day 2022 went to the Doctors House for Brunch, our experience was not good at all.lines were very long, will never go there again!

Yesterday, we had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Doctor's House and we could not be happier with our special day. Elisa began the process with us and guided us through all of the logistics and coordination of the event, and we really enjoyed our correspondence with her throughout the process. Any questions or concerns we had, Elisa was just an email away and we felt her love and support throughout every step of the process. She was EXCEPTIONAL and we are BLESSED to have her guidance for our special day! <3

Our ceremony at the chapel went perfectly, and the in-house musician named Ida from Hit That Note Studio did an amazing job by playing beautiful piano versions of songs that we requested throughout our ceremony, including Town with an Ocean View, Thinkin' Bout You, and What a Wonderful World. The Doctor's House also provided a fantastic officiant named Zahra who guided us through the ceremony and made our wedding beautiful and joyous.

The reception was held in the Country Fare, and it was an unforgettable evening. The staff (especially Yugi) were very courteous and helpful. All of our guests greatly enjoyed the food, setting, and entertainment (provided by Platinum Entertainment), and we are so so very grateful and happy with how amazing our wedding turned out.

My experience with the Doctor’s house cannot be simply rated by this. It is the most beautiful venue I ever see, with excellent service provided. Great communication throughout the process, gorgeous garden look for photos and the food and drinks are among top standards! This is a place that made our wedding day even more unforgettable. I was guest at a wedding and the meal was far below my expectations for the venue. The service needs to be improved. The beef on most of the plates at my table was overcooked. Mine was so cooked the middle of the filet was grey
