Great team from reception to the grooming and daycare staff. Very accommodating when I needed a specific item for my dog they brought it in as a special order. I’d recommend 10 out of 10!

Been getting my cockapoo’s haircut from Allie for over a year now and it’s the best cut he’s ever had! She always does a great job with him and is very accommodating to whatever style we are looking for! 10/10

This is the best grooming facility I’ve been to. It is clean, excellent groomers and friendly atmosphere.

Allie has been grooming my 4 1/2 year old cockapoo for a few years now. Sophie always looks great after her grooming appointment. Very happy to recommend The Dog House!

I have been taking Lily to The Dog House since her first spa day! Allie is an incredible groomer and always does such a great job! It’s also nice that the groom only takes about an hour! I would highly recommend.

We’ve been taking Teddy here for almost 4 years and he always leaves looking so good! Allie is great and she always respects our requirements. I also love the fact that it normally takes only one hour unlike other groomers where you have to leave your dog for 5+hours there.

Allie is amazing with my two pups. My one pup gets so nervous when his nails get cut, but she puts him at ease.

Not blown away by the grooming. Had to take my dog back as they didn't clip the dew claws (in fact all the nails seemed minimally clipped) and I don't think his ears were cleaned either

Like the intriguing man who doesn't drink beer often, but when he does, he prefers Dos Equis, I don't write reviews often, but when I do, it's for something extraordinary. While I am certainly not the most interesting man in the world, I believe that if the Dos Equis guy had a dog, he would prefer that it only be groomed by Allie.

I've never been unhappy enough to take the time to write something bad, and I'm not very hard to please, so since I actually did write this review, you can be sure it's because I was thoroughly impressed and absolutely blown away. So much so, that I feel the need to share my amazing experience with anyone that wants to know about it.and that includes a lady from my neighbourhood who I met just after I pulled into my driveway after picking up Sydney from his appointment with Allie.

Before I was even out of the car he had bolted across the street to play with her dog. She was admiring his haircut and I told her I had just come from 'The Dog House' on Lakeshore and that it was the best haircut he's ever had. She mentioned that she was looking for a new groomer and I gave her their number.

I'm actually writing this now because she just happened to be walking her dog by my house again today and she stopped to thank me for recommending 'The Dog House' to her.

Allie is the best groomer I've met in the ten or eleven years since I first went out with my son and daughter to get him as a new puppy. They were also equally impressed with his grooming. Needless to say, teenage kids aren't easily impressed by much these days, so if they are, it's something pretty special. I recall asking them to put their phones down for one minute to 'please' look out the window.as we drove by the most beautiful mountain scenery I'd ever seen traveling through Germany. They barely glanced out the window while I marvelled at nature's magnificence. Sydney's haircut! This had them both in awe. It was like they were seeing a sunset for the first time.

Our little doggy finally made it out of a groomer without getting shaved. A product of my laziness and lack of brushing. I bring in a long hair natty mess and he comes home shaved. That's been the deal, until the magnificent Allie got her hands on him.

If you truly love your dog, and you really want the very best for him or her, you won't consider going anywhere else again.
The Dog house is a place where they will get the love, care and style you wish for them.

P.s. The lovely lady from my neighbourhood also had something similar to say about Ashley. She was smiling brightly while raving to me about how amazing they were there. She had just gotten back earlier today, so I can't say how long she will be euphoric about her dog's grooming, but I'm still feeling the love, enough to write this, and I've never really cared at all about his grooming. It's super low on things I get excited about, so I don't know what else I can say. It seems like both Ashley and Allie are gifted groomers.

New Owners, new groomers, higher prices. Scheduling is now disappointing. I'll be taking my two boys elsewhere.

So very disappointed today. I have used this spa a few times and normally have good results. My dog went in looking like a Westie and came out looking like I don’t know what!

Her face shape is so bad that I am going to have to correct it myself, it’s all uneven and they totally cut her Westie skirt off! Her tail should be cut very short, but she came out all fluffy. I had to go back in the store and ask them to correct it and even then they did not do it right. For the price they charge $100 for one hour for a small dog they should be ashamed. How can you do a perfect job in one hour - not possible!
Shall never be going again!

Very disappointed. I’ve taken my dog there a few times they were alright but this time it’s bad for the amount money you pay. His tail wasn’t trimmed at all which I asked to do specifically, his ears weren’t trimmed at all, his face is unevenly cut. I spent 97$ for a tiny Yorkie for someone not to do a perfect job or even a great job. Won’t be going back there. Very unhappy. I was rushing and couldn’t take a look at my dog and tell them I wasn’t happy there and then but I think for almost 100$ For a tiny dog they can make sure he is done perfectly. They also called me earlier to come get him because he was done.so clearly they rushed his haircut.
Also he is scratching so much after this haircut this time so clearly whatever shampoo they used wasn’t good for him.

They are excellent with my dog Harley. He has been going to them since I rescued Harley about 10 years ago. Very patient with him as he ages too. Very thankful
