The Eglinton Grand

Attended a wedding here. Everything was excellent, from the cocktail hour, through dinner, music, late night. Service was excellent and food was yummy! I would highly recommend. Great atmosphere too.

We had our wedding reception over this past Victoria Day weekend. The Grand was an absolutely wonderful venue, not only amazing aesthetically, but the staff were so helpful and attentive. Everything went as well as we planned it. Sarah was great, as were Joe and Gleb the day of!

If there was any issue, it's that the venue does have some specific requirements which means there is less room for flexibility but offers a variety of its own options (catering for example). But overall, this is an amazing venue and we wanted to thank them for making our reception possible!

We had our year-end graduation event here and would recommend it to everyone! The staff are so helpful in the planning process to make sure everything is perfect for the day. On the day of the event, there was someone there to make sure everything ran smoothly and ensure there were no issues. The entire event staff was super friendly as well. They really go out of their way to make your special event perfect!

Montage Support Services has been coming back to the Eglinton Grand to host their "signature" event for the past seven (7) years.
From the onset VP, Teresa DiPietro, General Operations Mgr. Joseph Cosentino, and Artur for tech support, offer undivided attention to our event’s details. I know going in that I can rest assured that they will be met above expectations.
Beyond the service, there is a distinctive elegance that welcomes you and leaves guests looking forward to coming back for more.
Knowing that I can rely on their professionalism to work the event with me to keep it on track throughout the evening is something no one sees for how seamless the festivities unfold and is so important.

This unique theatre wedding venue was perfect for Heather and Fabiane’s wedding which we photographed this past June.

The vibrant and elegant interior served as a great backdrop for photos, especially in the theatre with the radiant spotlights lighting up the place beautifully. All the staff were really friendly and helpful making it a great experience.

Had the most amazing wedding day on 4/29/2023. Teresa was incredibly helpful leading up to our day, working with our needs every step of the way. There was no event the day before so we were able to drop everything off early which relieved stress. The wedding day itself was as smooth as a wedding day could possibly be - lots of support from staff, gorgeous venue, and my husband and I got so many compliments on the uniqueness of the first dance, the venue and also how great the food was (and how much of it we had).

Clean up at the end of the night was fast and we got help from the staff of the venue. If I could start the whole process over I’d do it again and again at the Eglinton Grand. Not to mention our photos outside the marquee came out amazing. Highly recommend this venue

We had our wedding at the Eglinton Grand and were so thrilled with how everything went! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and the space is well laid out and spacious to accommodate all of the different aspects of a wedding. The sound system there is also great and the room carries sound extremely well, so all of our speeches and the band were easily heard. We worked with Teresa prior to the wedding and we greatly appreciated how responsive and helpful she was in ensuring everything including all of the details were set for the wedding day. The venue was also extremely accommodating with allergies and dietary restrictions. On the day of, Joe and his team went above and beyond to make sure everything went accordingly to plan and the night ran extremely smoothly. Our guests had an absolutely amazing time and were very complimentary regarding the food, how kind the staff was, how amazing the venue was, and what a fun time they had! We would absolutely recommend holding your wedding or any event at the Eglinton Grand!

Eglinton Grand is a nice cozy place for
celebrating your important event. It's great for medium sitdown events of 80 - 150 but can accommodate more. It has a ballroom on the second floor, divided into 2 parts by the dance floor in the middle, stage for the head table or music band; the separate ceremony room on the third floor with separate entrance, another space is the reception with the bar on the third floor separate from ceremony and overlooking the main ballroom from above with cinema style huge curtains that can be closed during reception and then open to watch the first dance of new weds. The hall at the main entrance on the first floor with the original theater movie entrance. There is also small bride room next to the hall. It's a very attractive and efficient place for the weddings9 and other events.

We just had our wedding at the Eglinton Grand & my fiancé & I couldn’t be any happier! Choosing this venue was the best choice we made and the staff where helpful from our first meeting even till a few days past our wedding. Even our family and friends noticed how well the staff cared about our wedding and our guest. The building alone has its own special touch that no other place can compete with, that with the tremendous staff as well as the great food. Nothing else could have gone better, Thank you Eglinton Grand!

I was recently there for an event called the Raglan house and one of the servers Pollyann went above and beyond her duty to make me and my colleagues feel warm and comfortable. She made my experience there more pleasurable. If anyone is getting married, definitely request her as she was amazing!

We had our wedding reception at the Eglinton Grand in December 2022 and it was an incredible experience for us and our guests. Working with Teresa, Paula, Mikal, and Joe made everything easy and enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating, responsive and professional. They cared for every detail and the service was exceptional. This venue is stunning! Truly an unique event space that gives off an elegant and classy vibe. Our guests loved it! The "Grand first dance" as the curtains opened wowed our guests and the customized marquee was a beautiful detail that made our wedding stand out. The food was fantastic - we still keep getting compliments on it! We wish we could cater it in - it's that good! The evening staff cared for all of our guests and were extremely mindful and helpful. We had a few guests that needed the elevator which was easy to use, and the staff were attentive all night long. Joe and Mikal checked in on us and our parents and bridal party tables to ensure everything was to our liking. They made everyone feel like royalty. The food service was quick, hot, and right on schedule. Joe even re-folded my mother-in-laws napkin when she got up from the table. The bartenders were amazing - they were quick to serve our guests, and were friendly and polite. We also received many compliments on the mocktails that were served. Every part of the venue was in pristine condition; the washrooms, the lobby, the mezzanine, and main space. Being an old movie theater, the sound quality throughout the venue was remarkable - unlike some traditional halls, at the Eglinton Grand, you don't have to worry about the echo of sound bouncing off walls or being louder in some parts of the space. The entire team at the Eglinton Grand are experienced, detail oriented and can be fully trusted to host your event. If you are looking for a high-end venue and a high quality experience, this is the place. We highly recommend this venue and team. Our wedding day was perfect! Thank you for going above and beyond and for making our day so special.

Good space but hard to get there as there's a lot of construction around the area, and hard to find srreet parking.

We got married here in Oct 2022. The staff was extremely knowledgable, thorough and friendly and we had zero issues with the venue. The price is competitive with other Toronto venues. The food was incredible. Guests actually commented there was too much food. A great venue for a Toronto wedding. A lot of the older guests felt very nostalgic being there, as they grew up going to the movies there, so that was cool for them too. The dramatic first dance was a hit with a lot of guests too! We picked this venue because we wanted a venue that would suit a band. If you are having a band, this venue is perfect. It was not too loud and there was tons of room for our 160 guests.

I was married in this venue approximately 14-15 years ago. My guests, my wife, my family and I had a wonderful experience. I recently learned that this venue hosted a "Freedom Convoy" event, with Christine Anderson as a guest speaker. If you don't know Christine Anderson, a quick "Google" search will uncover all you need to know. I'm appalled that "The Eglinton Grand" would host and allow such an event to take place within their facility. I would strongly recommend a complete boycott of all of their venues, if you have an ounce of integrity, or a moral compass. My sincere condolences go out to all staff members that had to work the evening that these individuals highjacked your time, life and soul!

Attended a wedding at The Eglinton Grand and what a lovely event setting. Very unique with this landmark as an old theatre turned into a wedding venue. The staff were lovely and set up was great.

Absolutely timeless experience - our wedding is still talked about today, being one a kind, captivating, creative and most engaging. Wish we can turn back time
