We ate breakfast here for the 1st time and it is now our favourite breakfast place while on our annual trip. Great food and service. Looking forward to trying a pizza next trip.

Stopped in just looking for a breakfast spot and found a gold mine. Had an absolutely delicious breakfast. The eggs benedict were amazing and it's so nice to see a place that serves a real good size cup of coffee.always been a pet peeve of mine.the service was amazing and I can't wait to try the dinner menu. Old school diner with good food at a reasonable price. I would recommend it to those looking for a classic American breakfast. Dinner here is also decent. Definitely preferred to Whimpys nearby.

Stopped here on our way for a long weekend getaway and we’re glad we made that decision. Had their amazing breakfast menu for lunch and we already made the decision to come back again on our way back home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Food is fine, expensive but fine
Issue is with wait times, on a not busy day it still takes consistently over half an hour for an order of bacon and eggs to be served

Was in town for the summer and this was the place we went to most consistently. All of our servers were friendly and personable. Extremely fair prices for a hearty meal each and every time.

Waited 45 minutes for our order this morning even though it was early and not many customers. There was one waitress, a host, and 2 chefs. We were there with our grandchild, who did her best to be patient. Staff got one of our orders wrong but said that's what we ordered, no apologies. Also, if you want decent maple syrup it costs extra. What ticked me off was the waitress mentioning our order was coming up every time she passed our table, never apologizing or giving us truthful details. But odd that she mentioned that the chef thought our grandaughter who has only just turned 9, was a teenager. What is that about? Really disappointed with what was a lovely experience the 2 other times we've eaten here.

Just did 5 days in Algonquin without pooping, so the indoor plumbing was welcomed. Also, the food was amazing and the service was friendly.

Thank you so much for adding a vegan breakfast option to the menu! Had the vegan hash and it was delicious. We’ve been coming for many years on the way to the cottage and it’s a family tradition to stop in for a bite. Very happy about this new menu addition and the oat milk option for coffee. We love coming here and these new options definitely elevate the experience for me!

This is a family run and family friendly local restaurant that we have been enjoying for many years. It’s not at all a fancy restaurant, but it is very good at what it does: provide tasty, popular, home-cooked style meals at reasonable prices. Pizza and fish and chips are stand outs for us, plus they do some lovely soups, salads and desserts. The staff is friendly and efficient. Recommended for a no fuss meal if in Huntsville.

Went for breakfast based on many great reviews. It was a busy morning and we got a table right away but waited about 10 minutes to get coffee and water. Coffee was disappointing for a place that is supposed to be a well established diner. We waited 40 minutes for food. I had basic eggs and bacon. Eggs were good but bacon was salty and the toast tasted stale. A few home fries on the plate. Waitress was fairly efficient but uninterested. My husband had the Bacon and cheese omelette which was uninspiring and I could have made better at home. Not sure what all the rave reviews are about.

Went for breakfast. Was just ok. Used to be so much better when Dino was around. Feels like it’s become more about quantity of guests served and increasing profit vs quality of product and customer relationships going out.

Increased prices for lower quality. I don’t think I’ll be back to try again and will move on to Main Street local kitchen. Main Street local kitchen is a little more expensive but the quality difference for sure makes up for it. Shame because I’ve been going here for at least the last 10 years.
