My husband and I were so thrilled a location opened up in Aurora and we’ve had many positive experiences here so far. The staff are so friendly and their service is amazing.

Nice to sit, talk and listening and watch Korean pop music
One think they don’t have desert - should be nice to have something like Korean chocopie;)

The soup was extremely spicy. I’m a person generally pretty good at handling hot food. Never thought of Korean food as spicy as Mexican food! The owl has been the oldest Korean food restaurant in Toronto I have tried. Never been disappointed like this location before.

Always hits the craving for homemade style Korean stews in Newmarket/Aurora! Only one in the area that does it right. Servers are always friendly as well.

Really Good! My first time at this place and I am definitely coming back. We tried different dishes including the Bibimbap, it was amazing! We also tried the Soju (Korean drink), the apple is the best! Friendly staff, fast and casual. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious and staff were sweet and accommodating! They really made sure we werent low on side dishes

The pork bone soup is salty and very bad service. I experienced with old fat woman. She is very rude for the customers. Never come back there again.

Ordered two soup dishes. The pork/potato one is OK with a good portion of meat. The other one shouldn't be called "Beef" soup, because there was no meat and only a few noodles. With a $17 price tag, it is way overpriced. Extremely disappointed.

Been here yesterday. Delicious food! Very clean facility, the washrooms are very clean. The staff ladies were very attentive even though they were very busy on Friday night. Its not my 1st time trying The Owl of Minerva cuisine. I used to eat out at their 24 h location in Toronto. Auroras restaurant was just as good as the place I used to go. I ordered my favourite Dak Chul Pan spicy chicken and Lakalbi ribs. Great food and close to my house. Will be going back.

I like their tofu soup a lot. I eat here a lot great variety of tasty foods. Great service too

The best korean restaurant in newmarket/aurora. I love gamjatang! It taste so good. I wish I could eat it everyday with soju. My second favorite food from their menu is tangsooyook.

Ordered a Kumpunggi, namely the fried chicken, but what I have got was nothing but fried flour! Could find no chicken at all! Called d restaurant and they could do nothing. So disappointed and I will never order from this place anymore!

Ordered bibimbap, and got a prepackaged un flavored meal. Could have easily been a frozen meal. Was disgusting.

Love this place!

The gamjatang is not super spicy and I love the layers of flavor in there. It's got that classic gamjatang taste with a hint of miso in it that really suits my palette. The meat falls off the bone really easily.

It came with 2 side dishes (kimchi and pickled cucumbers) which they gave a lot of! And there was so much rice, it's enough for 2 more meals!

They also sealed the gamjatang shut with a plastic film so spills are non-existent. Everything that was supposed to be hot was hot, and everything that was supposed to be cold was cold.

They're also doing a takeout special on the gamjatang so it's super worth it, and saves us the drive down to Richmond Hill or Markham for decent Korean food nearby.

The staff are also super friendly, and was willing to take our takeout order despite it being so close to closing time!

I can't speak for anyone else, but I've personally never had a bad experience at this Owl.

Love this place! Their pork bone soup is delicious! We decided to get it for take out last week and was very happy with the way everything was packaged! It was also nice that they had a special on it too! It's on the menu again tonight (thanks in part to the special, lol)! I've been going to various locations for years and I've always had a great experience at this location! Yum!

Great Gamjatang! Even packaged with a nice heat sealed lid so it won’t make a mess for takeout. Would have liked more spice though.

The worst korean restaurant ever. I ordered a Kamjatang for lunch and then started to throw up 4 hours later before dinner time. I had food poisoning. The food was not fresh at all! They simply heated the overnight food and when they heated the food they didn't even do it thoroughly. The food was half-cold when I had them.

Terrible experience! It took me 2 days to recover.

Got a hot dish for take out wasnt even warmed up.it was good after i microwaved it.but it was served super cold.

I've been a fan of the Owl chain for several years. Started with the North York location and always appreciated the quality and portion of the food for it's price. While the food is still great especially the pork bone soup, the meals have now become much more costly.

Great price and generous portion sizes. The lid of the takeout container is heat sealed on, so be careful when peeling it off, especially if you ordered soup

Today I ate Jeyuk Bokeum, but it was too salty, so I ate it half and threw it away. The price is high, and for less than $20 they accept only cash. This is a restaurant I won't go again.

Really good food, some very authentic and delicious dishes; kalbi, bulgogi, dakchulpan are great.
Try some other good ones like ddulbokgi and haemulpajeon for some really interesting and tasty korean dishes.

Paid 18 dollars for what was less bulgogi, and more like a bucket of glass noodles. Noodles tasted 7/10.
