The Famous Owl of Minerva

Very impressed with the quality of Korean food at owl of Minerva. I had the steamed dumplings and soft tofu soup spicy and it was very good. The atmosphere could be a bit better but all in all fantastic place for Korean food. Will visit again.

Came here on a chilly day with my mom because we were both craving tofu soup and pork bone soup. My mom ordered the pork bone soup and she enjoyed it. The pork was tender and falls right off the bone (which it should). I've been to the Markham location of this same chain and the pork was always little dry so thankfully this location does it much better!

The soft tofu stew (soon dubu) was great! The flavour was nice and there was a good amount of tofu inside. This dish is perfect on a chilly day!

Overall, this place is good and the location is great as well. It's conveniently beside a Btrust which then I can do my groceries after I eat!

Food was delicious! Our server was the sweetest! Unfortunately at the end, the lady at cash was upset we didn't tip on the machine. She then came to our table as I was finishing my meal, and she rudely says "was our service bad? Why didn't you tip? ". We had planned to tip in cash, as we wanted to also make sure our server got the tip. It was all good until she decided to embarrass us infront of everyone by asking that. She could've waited 5 mins for me to finish my meal to tip as my partner paid for the whole meal.

The food here was great! Service was a bit slow when I was there, but it is very traditional Korean BBQ, tv shows in Korean, food of course is traditional, place had a very traditional look from South Korea. I would recommend coming here for some great traditional Korean food!

The service here is so bad it's not worth going. The boss is very bad, gave a tip and asked him if he was satisfied? He replied: no!
They discriminate against Chinese people.
The ingredients are not fresh, and the oil smells, so please be careful.

This was a good dinner for me and my family, We ordered the #18 BBQ Pork, but when it came, one of them was raw but luckily we managed to sort things out and it turned out to be good, that’s why I rate this a 4 star, but overall, A recommended place to dine in!

Uber eats and their own website price the ribs at S21.99, L29.99. I called to place a order and he told me it 24.99 and 35.99. I usually buy from here. I guess never again after this stunt.

Delicious food and my go to for Korean food. They also have a good handle on Covid precautions with one way pathing, sanitizer etc. Pickup is very easy. I've come here many times and will continue to do so

Descent food with long hours. Good for when you're randomly feeling hungry at 4 am. I have to say that their Kimchi is disappointing and has the metallic taste I associate with lower quality Kimchi. Overall, it's not a bad place to eat, and the long hours and lively atmosphere at those odd hours create a certain ambiance that I'd consider a welcome distraction from a mundane nigh spent working/studying/etc. The Korean options in Mississauga are lacking, so it's nice to have Owl here.
