I was looking for splatoon amiibo and when I went there I was not disappointed. I found the two amiibos that I wanted. I would recommend going there:)

Don't get me wrong the selection and atmosphere are great here, but the prices of the pre-owned games being sold are incredibly bad and is what single handedly breaks this place! There's many things overpriced here, but two great mentions I will point out are cod MW2 for $15 bucks and Black Ops 2 for $30 on the Xbox 360. Mw2 is worth like $2-$5 these days and BO2 is not worth nearly that much now. They have multiple copies of Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt for $15 each meanwhile there is another game store a block away that recently opened up called Digital Oasis that has the same game for $5 each and that is with tax included in the price, which this place doesn't do. This place should be renamed into 'The Game OP' (Overpriced) Instead.

This family owned business is my number one go to for all my video game needs and repairs. Walking in, you are welcomed with friendly faces and huge smiles. They absolutely love their business and the impact they make in the community! They know most of their customers by name and always love having conversations with them. They never make you feel rushed to leave the store, if anything they want you to feel like extended family. If I ever need anything they are always my first call and I will wait until a product is available to order with them. If they don’t have something I am looking for, they are quick to let me know if they can order it for me or not. I love going in there to browse around and chat with them. We always have a great time laughing and every time I go, there are always new treasures waiting to be found. I’ve had repairs done on very old systems that are now working like they are brand new. Super reasonable prices and very knowledgeable with the repairs. They will always confirm the price before going ahead with repairs and if something arises that was unexpected they will call right away and ask if you would like to continue the repairs because it may be out of budget.
Love this family owned business and the welcoming attitude of the family who owns it. As soon as I walk through the door I am already smiling because their smiles are so contagious and I know my time in there is going to be well spent.

This store has what you need in gaming and system repair. The staff is knowledgeable, wonderful, and friendly. They are also my go to store for limited run titles.

Over priced, old stock and staff don't have much of a personality but obviously lots of time to read reviews.business must be booming.

This place has the potential of being one of the best in town HOWEVER the pricing is not in line with the market at all. Games here can range anywhere between $5-15 more then average plus tax. Now if this is being done to act as some form of deterrent against re-sellers "flippers" then I can understand, similar to game cycles "no sales to re sellers" policy. Other then that good solid store

Wonderful game store. The manager/owner Roy was engaging from the minute I walked in. Very friendly staff, the store is well kept, clean and smells good (I don't know why I noticed the scent! Hahahaa) I will definitely be returning.

Roy was gracious enough to take apart my sons gaming system to see if he was able to repair it, free of charge. Although it wasn't able to be repaired, Roy was generous with his time and a pleasure to speak to

Love love love this place. You are treated like a long time friend or family. They are very knowledgeable about MANY games and systems. I have not asked a question they have not been able to answer yet. He's patient and great with kids in the shop as well.

Great selection of games and merch nowhere else in the city stocks. No bootlegs! Roy is a cool dude.

Purchased a wii, rockband drums and three guitars, controllers the whole shabang to enjoy with our son who loves music. Purchased for a birthday gift that didn't disappoint! The equipment for rockband was in mint condition! Thank you Game MD!

Best game store in the city. Selection is great, tons of stuff. Great prices. But most of all Roy and his family are fantastic people. Lovely and vibrant. It's also the only store that does repairs! LIFESAVER!

Excellent customer service and great selections on hard to find items. If you are a fan of retro and recent games, look no further! There's also a range of figurines, toys, and collectibles for sale. Prices are decent and on par with other game stores. Tidy clean store with easy shelves layout. They are on Instagram and YouTube for unboxing events and other news. You may also reach out to the owner via messaging service on Facebook if you ever need to source a game or toy. Overall, you can't go wrong with this local gem.

This is my second favorite gaming store. I love how there is a huge selection of just everything! I picked up a playing with power NES book and im so happy with this purchase! Any games I've bought from here always work! They are a tad pricier then my 1st favorite game store, but that's okay I still love to come here. The owners are the sweetest people too!

Game MD earns 2 stars out of 5 because it’s a cool store to browse and I’m glad we have it here in Windsor. That being said, it’s just not a good place to actually buy things (or trade in).

They do have a great selection, but most items are priced above retail. This store puts out a very friendly vibe, but don’t be mistaken—they are sharks. Prices and trade in values are not comparable to other gaming stores in the area. The Owner also tends to make rude jokes which is not very kind or professional.

I really wanted Game MD to be a 5 star Gaming store, but the lack of self awareness and fair business practices have them trending down in my opinion. This was my experience, but I’m hopeful they treat their regulars a little better.

Great service and the guy had the patience of a saint while I was rambling on showed me what was wrong fixed the problem and gave me great preventative maintenance tips for my son's ps4 would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience.brought my son's Xbox in, fixed it within a couple hours. Super friendly and helpful.definitely our first stop for all our gaming needs

Best game store in Windsor-Essex for buying vintage games and consoles. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Always a great atmosphere inside.

Would give negative 5 stars if possible. Brought in an Xbox One which they claim they can fix. Explained what was going on; Xbox turns on but doesn't show up on the TV screen. The guy plugs it in using his power cord, turns the system on then off again and tells me it's not the power cord it's the system and he can't fix it. Tells me I should sell it and buy a new one. Literally made NO ATTEMPT WHATSOEVER to even try to fix it. I think their positive reviews were done themselves using multiple email addresses and friends who don't know how much they lie. How can they claim to fix all consoles but the extent of their repair service is turning the system on? Why are these people even in business?

UPDATE TO REPLY: I'm sorry you think that telling me to buy another console is saving me money and I was not happy with the diagnosis because THERE WAS NONE. But it doesn't matter because Adam at xmonster.ca not only diagnosed the issue in less than 10 minutes and was able to fix the issue but also gave us an upgrade. Thanks for not even trying because my console is now better than it was when I brought it to you.

Extremely friendly service, knowledgeable and fair while fixing my console. Ended up being an easy fix and a fairly priced replacement part. Very satisfied with my experience!

I brought my Xbox one in to be repaired.it turns on and off but doesn't show on the screen, I have tried multiple HDMI cables and nothing.the man at the counter plumed it in turned it on and off Didn't try the HDMI port.said "it's not the power cord it's the system" (which I already knew) and proceeded to tell me they couldn't fix it and it would "be better" to get a new one. He made no attempt to look at it or try it with a monitor. TF

An absolutely fantastic shop, with a pretty great selection. Roy is a super nice guy, always happy to talk while he's working away while remaining very knowledgeable about basically anything you could bring to him. He's helped me numerous times and every time is an awesome visit. Couldn't recommend more.

I love this store. I don't consider myself a gamer by any means, but I'm an 80's baby and a Nintendo kid (forever) and I absolutely love this place. The collection of old game systems and games makes me super nostalgic. And Roy is a great guy, super helpful and knowledgeable. Videogames old and new. What's not to love?

One of my personal favorite stores, the service is great and everyone knows me.

Though the prices for games tend to be a bit higher than other places, the selection overall is a lot better.

My choice place for anything video game related. One of the best varieties of games and related merchandise that I’ve seen, and the staff are all friendly and helpful!

Called for a part I need to run and old Nintendo system they had everything I needed excellent experience going there, fast friendly service and treated my 4yr old daughter like a true gamer I highly recommend Game MD for any of your gaming needs we will definitely be going back. 5 star.

The Game MD is a retro and new-school styled video game store with a huge variety of consoles and games from Atari to PS4/XBOX ONE.
Their selection of new and used games gives us the consumers a chance to relive some of the games we played when we were younger.
The entire store is filled with unique items and fanbase may enjoy.
From nintendo plushies to plastic figures the Game MD is the place to be if you need something new, or if you need a "new" older style game controller for a console.
I highly recommend coming here!
