I have recently moved to a house that has a 12 foot high garage. The existing garage doors are 8 feet tall. I wanted to put in a car lift on one side that would allow me to use the full height potential of the garage. The garage ceiling had a 36 inch deep and 13” high bulkhead that ran the full width of the garage above the garage doors. I had 4 or 5 garage door companies visit me to look at my application. One vendor said he could do it and then disappeared. I never heard from him again. The others would only lengthen the existing vertical tracks up to the underside of the bulkhead, still leaving the door about 16 inches from the ceiling. I had shown them my sketch of a track that had two bends. The first bend allowed to track to angle up past the corner of the bulkhead. Once past the bulkhead the second bend would bring the track close to the ceiling. They all said it couldn’t be done. One guy got his ‘engineer’ on the phone who agreed it couldn’t be done.
Many months passed and I converted my garage door lift from a ceiling mount to a wall mount. I was planning on doing the track conversion myself and started looking for someone who would sell me some track. Most garage door vendors wouldn’t sell me track, or if they did, they wanted to sell me complete sets of track. Luckily I stumbled on Diana at the Garage Door Depot in Mississauga. She patiently listened to my exasperated rants about how no one could do what I wanted done in my garage. She understood exactly what I was talking about and sent me a picture of an install they had recently done that was very similar to my application. I sent her a dimensional sketch of my garage with the bulkhead. She gave me a quote that was so reasonable that it was a no brainer to go with The Garage Depot. A custom track was fabricated and today was installed by Ryan and Grant who did a tremendous job. The garage door is now within one inch of the ceiling. They even lubricated my other garage door that they heard squeak even though it wasn’t part of their scope.
Kudos to Ryan and Grant for their exemplary service. Thanks Diana for your patience and understanding.

Great and prompt service. Able to come same day, and they made sure the technician had the parts for my make and model of opener before the service call. Eslet, was great. Polite, explained everything, repairs completed promptly and very reasonable.

We needed service for same day because our garage door opener was stolen. We had no problem getting someone to come out. The dispatch and repair people were very professional. I was told exactly what the cost was before hand. And the job was done quickly. Very happy with my service and would definitely use them again.

Where do I start, the experience has been just WOW.
1. The patience of Diana who helped us design our garage doors with multiple conversations and emails back and forth with door options, design option, opener options.
2. The communications around manufacturer delivery schedules, to the install schedules.we were always informed as to when the doors would be ready for the install and when the technician could come and install the doors, to calls about asking to installed earlier that first anticipated. (we couldn't make the earlier date).
3. The Install!) The team of 2, Eslet and Logan, showed up the morning of the install as promised, prompt, with big smiles greeting us with "Are you excited about your new doors? We will do our best to make today one to remember" They set right to work removing the old doors in what seems like record time. Then began the install, first new tracks and the door panels, finally insulated doors on my garage! They tinkered with them for a bit, I am assuming to ensure they were level and moved properly on the tracks. Then the install of the opener motors, and connections to the door. When they were done they came and told me they were done, let us show you how it works. After a thorough instruction session with my Wife and I, they asked a question I thought was nice, "Do you have existing openers, we could install? " I wanted the outside key pad programmed, but it was too old to connect to the new motors, WiFi, Camera, etc, so I asked if they happen to have a newer one that works with this motor they did. Whew. Once my outside key was programmed, they asked another question, which to me was above and beyond for service, "Would you like us to program you and your wife's vehicle built in openers? Or are the handheld ones what you use? " If you could program the built in ones that would be great, I said. Then I was pulling my motorcycle back in and ask if he could program the remote on my bike, "sure, we can do that". While programming my motorcycle remote, he noticed hand prints from the install and even wiped those down for a sparkling finish. LOL, the Detail!

The services from beginning to end was spectacular!

I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to any of my friends.if you have any questions for me post a reply.

We've used Garage Door Depot in the past for getting an automatic garage door opener at our old place and they were great. Went to them again asking for help with a broken garage door. They were able to help with a temporary repair, and answered all our questions when choosing a replacement door. Delivery was faster than expected and installation was efficient and well done. Great company to deal with! I went there originally to buy a new part to fix my garage door. They were very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. When I changed my mind and wanted them to fix my door opener, they arranged an appointment and kept me informed of the status of the repairman coming.

Just had Eslet from Garage Door Depot install a new Lifemaster garage door opener. Eslet was very efficient, courteous and knowledgable. He replaced the spring on the door which had broken and was the reason we couldn't operate the door. The opener we had was 19 years old. The new opener is excellent and much quieter. We are very happy we called Garage Door Depot and spoke to Laurie who was very helpful and pleasant to work with.

Had a wonderful initial experience working with The Garage Door Depot. Really happy with the work, door looks and functions great and the individuals that did the installation were fantastic! It was expensive but I totally get that considering the current home improvement environment and material prices, etc.
The one hiccup for me was when I requested a return visit at a later date to install the manual release latch. I was charged for the service call even though it was included in the overall initial charge. Apparently I had waited too long after installation, for me that left me with a bad taste.

Terrific company! The staff are just wonderful. Antony in particular is brilliant and an asset to the company. He shows great respect, strong work ethics, and is very prompt with replying to your emails.
He is honest with his opinions and offers good advice. The installation team were equally respectful to me, and to my property. They took time to demonstrate the workings of the remote, setting passwords etc, and went over what they did to ensure everything was tip top and that I was satisfied with the work. Everything was cleaned up after the job was complete.
I would very highly recommend this company! No stress!

This is the second time I have used this company (over a number of years for 2 different reasons). They are prompt and courteous and most important do great work! I highly recommend them!

It has been a bit over a month since the garage door was installed and I wanted to use it for a while before posting a review. To date everything is working well with the door. The installer showed up on time, did a good job and he was also a very friendly fellow. The other company that did the capping also did a very good job and the price for the product and installation was very reasonable. There was only one very, very minor flaw on the door from the manufacturer in that the logo was placed a bit off skew [no big deal:) ]. I would highly recommend this company if you want a garage replaced.

Right from the initial meeting for a quote and advice I had a good feeling. Being in the Precision Machining industry I'm pretty particular. Joe did a fantastic job on the installation, knew what he was doing and did it to perfection. Also left the garage clean. Follow up with office was no problem either. Would of liked the capping done sooner, but worth waiting for-he did an excellent job. Recommend The Garage Door Depot staff for service and quality. I enjoy looking at my garage. We have order a garage door On september 20 2021 and we were promised that the delay was 3 to 4 weeks.after 6 weeks i called back to know where was the door and when we would be able to get it Diana personally told me that the door will be pick up on the 3 or the 4 of November 2021.i just said no problem but please keep me posted.yesterday i place a call again and left a message for Dianna to call me back never got a call back only a email telling me they are looking to get answer and they will let me know when they get any development. Again today i called back and she said massive problem with the supplier the door will be here in 6 weeks.

Great people and great workmanship! They worked with us to get the best possible price and went the extra mile to make every homeowner happy. They treated our small condo like individual homes and not like a commercial contract. Kudos to the installation crew and office/sales personnel.

Checked several places to purchase insert windows for our garage doors as we did not like the older (grill) style on the garage, after changing our house windows. All stores told us the same thing - we cannot just replace, and if we do, it will exceed the cost of a new door and tried to sell us new doors. Diana took the time to find the manufacturer of our doors, and called us back to tell us that the "grills" were simply a plastic inert that can be removed from the main frame to give us the clear glass look we wanted. 3 minutes later - grills gone! She saved us thousands of dollars & didn't try to upsell a product we didn't need. Will definitely use them when needed and refer to friends

Excellent experience - took a while due to COVID but ultimately very happy and satisfied with their services (many thanks Diana). Originally ordered the incorrect size door but once noted, they immediately took action and ordered a replacement panel to resize the overall height to the correct height. Good business conduct.

I had a wonderful experience completing my garage door project with the team at Garage Door Depot. The initial contact and consultation with Diana was smooth as can be and Diana made sure to answer all my questions and provide several options to consider for my weather stripping request. Following up with Diana was very easy and from there getting the appointment set up and completed was a breeze.

The installer that came out for the job was very professional and punctual. The work was completed in timely manner and done to a very high degree of quality. Any and all follow up questions were patiently answered really reflecting the confidence the installer had in the work done.

We visited the Garage Door Depot before the lockdown. Had a look at samples and Antony was great. He visited our home to take measurements and provided a quote. And design you pick he provides a picture as to how it would look in your house which makes it great to visualize. Their price was competitive. The installers were great. We got the double garage door installed, new belt drive silent motor controlled by the app and also got the door capped. The door looks great, the garage is warmer and the motor and operation of the door is very quiet which is good because we have a bedroom over the garage. I had to have the installer come back for a minor cosmetic change that I wanted to make and the response was quick, they were back the next day. Overall highly recommend Garage Door Depot.

Needed some exterior seals redone on existing doors. Quick response on my quote request and works was done in 48 hours. Minor issue with seals not seating properly and was corrected next day. Thanks for the great service!
