Great spot, with super food. I had the gnocchi special, in a bacon cream sauce, which was amazing. The patio is big and spacious, which a good views of Jackson Triggs across the road. The staff were very friendly. We will definitely return.

My friends and I went for dinner before a show. I ordered oysters and calamari for dinner. It was delicious and I was a very happy woman! Service was great, food wonderful and beer, ice cold. Highly recommend this restaurant! I will return and stay for the live music.

Nice restaurant close to Niagara on the lake. Great stop after to before winery tasting. Friendly staff. The steak was delicious. The burger was good. No reservation was required.

My partner and I had a delicious fish & chips dinner here recently. Service was quick and friendly. Only issue was at end of meal when I asked for a box to take home part of my meal. The server offered to box up my leftovers for me and for some reason, half my food didn’t up in the box. Only realized after leaving. Was a disappointing end to a nice meal.

We eat here every time we are in the area and have yet to have a bad meal or service. Love this place!

This was the best food I had during my visit to Niagara Falls! As a vegetarian it is often hard to find good food. Garrison house did not disappoint. The green curry was an exceptional dish full of full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, lots of vegetables. Highly recommend where you are vegetarian or not! The service was incredible - attentive servers who provided great recommendations. We all loved our food. Besides the food - the drinks were creative (caramel apple mimosa, anyone?) and the strawberry cider was the best cider I have ever tried. This is a do not miss!

This place was the best restaurant during Niagara trip! We took parents in law, and all of us enjoyed the food! But we had to wait for the food close to one hour.

Anniversary dinner for two 17/09/22. Salad greens very fresh, dressing light and excellent. Short ribs tender, cauliflower and a bit of rice with cumin. Great for low carb diet. Steak special well priced and very tasty. Good service and waitress/hostess apologetic for delayed main course. Free desert (two were offered). Good beer on tap, nice atmosphere. Would go back in a heartbeat. Rare to get tasty food in a pub, this gastropub delivers.

I went to this restaurant because I looked at the food network show you gotta eat here. So I ordered the Lamb Sheppard's pie & sticky toffee pudding.
The pie was bland at first then I tasted after a couple hrs later and I got hints of the flavours. I have a very bold palette so I am big on flavours. For me this was okay more suited for persons with traditional tastes. The sticky toffee pudding was very tough and dense even after putting the sauces to soak through it was still a battle with my fork. The density was no match for my cutlery so with that being said this place is a NO for me.

Asked us to move tables after ordered accommodate another group! Plenty of other open tables!? ! Food was very average.

Probably one of the worst servers and dinning experiences I’ve had in a while, waitress is the one who makes your mixed drinks, has no clue on how to make drinks, and if you don’t like how she makes them, then she gets offended and tells you how she won’t take it back.can’t say the food was any better, mistake was made with the food and they wouldn’t take it back either, wasn’t eaten and got a discount but not a refund, def better choices than this place in Niagara on the lake. Would not go back

The three other people in our group enjoyed their dishes but the Jungle Curry is an Asian dish, no curry in it for starters. The whole dish lacked flavour, especially the tofu, very bland. Wish they'd bring back the previous curry dish, it was delicious.
Pick up time is always punctual.

Whoever owns this restaurant really loves food.and their customers too. Fantastic food and super service! A really good time. We will visit again. After lunch, we popped over to the store next door called Handmade Présence. We really enjoyed our time in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Just FYI - We ordered the the calamari as an appetizer, then the Garrison burger and also the steak. We all loved our meal.

The calamari was really good. But the curry was flavorless.it did have a ton of beautiful veggies.we shared a peach crisp that was delicious and there coffee was great

Customer Service was poor and 25 minutes wait time for food to serve - and the food was serve such as: french fries is to much salt and the salad was bland therefore was not pleasing.
Waitress did not offered any alternative to rectify and the Manager on duty was slack in her approached which was not acceptable in my own accord and customer satisfaction.

Came back now that the weather is beautiful, and just like many places lately, it's not as good as it used to be. We got burgers and ceasar salad. The burgers were supposed to be done medium, but came extra well done and dry. The patties were like giant meatballs, no attempt to keep them in shape when grilling. The garlic in the caesar was so bitter, which means old garlic was used. It was like no one tasted their sauce after they put the ingredients together and just threw it on a salad.

We spotted this place on a random drive around the Niagara region and decided to grab a bite. I am so glad we did, they have phenomenal burgers. It's been a while since we had a non-smash style and if we are in the area again will probably drop by again.

Food was okay but I found the menu had very limited options. Everything was made fresh and tasted good though.

Excellent customer service, always refilling our drinks and checking up on how our food is. Food itself is absolutely delicious, somehow they turned ordinary food and drinks like water and fries to a 5 star meal. Definitely would come back!

Just the best elevated pub food! Always fresh, local. With our favourites like the Vietnamese brussels and the burger (just learned the secret tonight finally!) and fresh new seasonal features all the time. Leanne has been our server several times and makes the experience *chefs kiss* fun and special each time. Love it, always a pick me up whether it’s a day in wine country with friends or a weeknight meal!
