Very nice place for breakfast or brunch. It's on the smaller side so you order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table. There are about 8 small tables and a small bar, so seating can be limited if it's busy. The establishment asks that you move along when finished to help make space for others who may be waiting to sit down. It wasn't crowded while I was there. The bacon was really great and they had a nice selection of jams for the toast. I would recommend this place for locals and visitors.

Great breakfast poutine, with eggs and Bacon on dinner style home fries. Loved the cheese sauce and the Fluid coffee was also great. Ordering at the counter was a great approach, and food and meal where served pleasantly, politely and in a very timely fashion. Thanks for a nice morning meal

Stopped in on my way to a job close by and SO glad I did. Best pure espresso shot I have had in memory and an incredible breakfast wrap.
Even picked up a sandwich to take in the car for lunch.

I have to admit I was taken by surprise by the sheer amount of options and coffee this little cute Cafe had going on. We went for lunch and what a delicious lunch it was. My husband had the crepe with a side of nicely roasted potatoes and I had the BLT with the optional fried egg and avocado. The amount of food was absolutely worth the price which I found reasonable. I was delighted by the decor and the available purchase options for coffee and several treats like samosa. What I found they did different from everyone else, was the gluten free options. There was a lot of choices. When in Carleton Place please swing by and give this cafe your time. It's well worth the effort.

Got the burrito, it was awfully small for 14$ and did not taste like it was 14$. The filling was mediocre at best and the wrap part was inedible (extremely tough) and there was tomato sauce and cheese ontop of the burrito so I couldn’t even hold it.

I discovered this wonderful cafe during the Bridge Street Summerfest. I really liked the decor, while the affogato and croissant that I ordered were delicious. This is a fun spot that I look forward to visiting again.

Such a fun friendly place where there is no such thing as a stupid question. The scones are absolutely delicious and they even offer to warm them for you. The patio is lovely, and I’m excited to go back again soon!

Had the Seafood Crepe and Salad with beets combo and finished off with Key Lime pie and an Espresso. Absolutely perfect!

I had the chicken and asparagus crepe, while the hubby had a chicken burrito bowl. The food was delicious, as usual, and the service was done with a smile! I'd suggest that the chicken crepe could be loaded with chicken breast and full asparagus to make it a more hearty meal. Also, the food should be served to patrons on the patio rather than having to go get your food and take it outside. Otherwise, it was a fabulous brunch!

I have been here multiple times and every time has been great. Service and staff are very friendly and quick. The atmosphere of inside is very European and quaint, it is very much a small town cozy cafe with small seating. They also have a patio outside to enjoy the fresh air from. There is a large selection of drinks and a good selection of food considering how small the cafe is. The food and drinks are a little on the pricier side however it is a local business and it's understandable and the quality is too good to complain. Alcohol is served here as well along with baked goods, take-home meals, and other local products such as condiments and snacks. Highly recommend the crepes, cream of mushroom soup, and the potatoes.
I love coming here and fully intend to return again:)

We stopped by for a coffee, but we're enticed by the menu to have brunch. We were not disappointed. I had a breakfast wrap (scrambled eggs, loaded with cheese and bacon) and a (generous) fruit bowl with a large Americana coffee for under $20.

I was here for breakfast. I ordered the southwestern breakfast burrito and granola with yogurt and fruit. I tell you it was delicious. If you are in the area, please give them a try. You'll be happy that you did.

Stopped by for coffee on our way from Ottawa. Vegetable samosas were great but my cappuccino was served with 80% foam and barely luke warm. I asked the barista to kindly prepare again with less or even no foam, nice and hot. I’m told, this is how it’s done in Italy. I don’t want to tell him that I’ve had lots of cappuccino’s in Italy, and no, this is not how it’s done there. He serves me a fresh coffee made exactly to my preference and I’m happy and thank him. After 10 minutes I hear his young female barista colleague begin to complain about how the day has been “unexpected” because some people don’t explain beforehand how they would like their coffee, that they should be clear they want no foam, how another lady just said how good their cappuccino was, and how theirs is a true Italian style. She whines and winged about this over and over again and the conversation goes loudly on for another 10 minutes with another lady colleague of hers - all within just a few meters from me. I had enough at some point and said to the older colleague that it sounded like my sending back my coffee has set off a bunch of fireworks. She sort of smiles and looks stressed. And the whining still continues from the younger lady barista. What kind of employee complains in front of a customer and keeps looking at me from time to time? And the older lady colleague does not have the decency to stop her either so what does that say about the staff there in general. I’m plain disgusted with this kid and as I had finished my coffee, my wife and I left. We’re never going back of course and if you choose to go, maybe tell them not to make it Italian style. And oh, don’t complain about the coffee unless you want to hear whining for 15 minutes.

We live in Ottawa but often take the scenic drive to Carleton Place to dine at this lovely bistro. Seating is tight but the food is amazing! We usually have the breakfast special but the whole menu is appealing! They have an outdoor patio in the summer and you can park very close by on the street. Highly recommended!

I have greatly enjoyed my experiences here. Do they ever know how to make a good cup of cappuccino! ’ I was helped by a talented young man named Ben. He was professional, friendly and efficient. Thanks everyone!

It is a great place to grab a quick bite or some takeout. The food is excellent as is the service.
