The Goose

Showed up here on a Saturday night and it was busy but not overwhelming. We got a table right. Service was friendly and fast. Food was good and drinks reasonably priced. Great spot to watch sports. The crowd was mixed and felt comfortable.

Been going here for years, food is great, atmosphere is chill, but service is on point! Zoya is usually my server/bartender and keeps me coming back

The goose and firkin on Leslie is home! Such a vibe and a perfect and warm environment to go and hangout with friends and play pool. The service is absolutely amazing and the manager Zoya gives quick and caring service to all her customer. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. She always provides an exceptional service and provides great recommendations as needed, and she is one of the main reasons why I continue to return to the goose and recommend my family and friends to this venue.

Food is always great, atmosphere is always awesome and great service from Parastoo! Will definitely return for pool and some drinks.

Traditional Brit-pub with corresponding UK-style grub. Large patio that's great in the summer. Indoor and outdoor tv's broadcasting sports. Pool table, darts boards, video golf. Predominantly female staff. Able to accommodate small table to large groups. A typical corner pub. Nothing particularly fancy, unique or outstanding. But at the same time it's wholesome and reliable. You know what you're gonna get every time you go here.

2022 update: service has gone notably downhill. I'll continue to patronize the place in support of local businesses, but don't be surprised if you wait ten or fifteen minutes for someone to greet you or take your order.

2023: no update

I had a great time here the atmosphere was really nice. Beautiful patio for outdoor drinking. Anna and Spencer were offering great service and giving me good drink recommendations the entire night. Will definitely come back for a Friday/Saturday night out.

We sat at the patio and there was a nice atmosphere. However, I ordered the squash ravioli and it was just bad. It was clear that the ravioli was previously frozen for a really long time. It was rubbery and hard cut. My friends ordered a plate of Nachos, which they enjoyed.

I liked the place and atmosphere. I also liked playing darts and billiard. Very cosy. Food was okay and drinks were good too.

Great place to eat, staff is awesome. Only thing I would change is an update on the atmosphere. It's like a old pub, if that's what they are going for try hit the nail on the head. Besides that it's a banger. Waitress said she work there 10 years, you can see why. Takes pride in her job like she owns it. One of the best ferkins Ive been to.

I have to say. After reading the other reviews on here, I had to try this place out. I am so glad that we did. We ordered the burrito's and the tacos and they were absolutely fantastic. Talk about fresh. Everything was perfect. The meats were tender, the vegetables were fresh and abundant. The portions were large. The packaging was incredible as mentioned by everyone else. Such a presentation! We also ordered the Tres Leches for dessert. Only one word to describe it. Incredible. It was light, and refreshing and so tasty. I really have to start taking pictures of these meals, but we ate it so quickly, but the time I remembered it was too late. I can tell you that this place will be a regular spot on our ordering list for Mexican from now on at least once a week. On top of it all, the pricing is great as well. The only thing to remember, is that it is for take out and not a restaurant with its own signs or seating as others have mentioned. At least not at the Leslie location. It is inside the Firkin Pub (Goose), so don't get lost or confused.
