The Gray Whale Barbershop

My experience at The Gray Whale was so outstanding that it deserves a detailed review!

After an unpleasant encounter at another salon, a friend recommended The Gray Whale. Best decision ever. Going in, I was actually stressed. However, the consideration that I received — when booking on the phone, while waiting, or during my interaction with Terrance — were noteworthy!

They even offered me a phone charger

The atmosphere was welcoming, and the cleanliness was so impeccable that one staff member would continually upkeep the shop.

Terrance not only demonstrated professionalism but also showcased true mastery of his craft. The haircut experience was a solid 11/10, and I can confidently say I've found my go-to barber at The Gray Whale!

I highly recommend their services to anyone seeking a top-notch and considerate salon experience.

I didn't want it to end. Not only the result was nothing short of awesome, but my barber was gentle, took his time and showed he cares.

I have been to the Grey Whale a couple of times for a hot shave and let me tell you it is the thing that dreams are made of. Start to finish you feel like you might just be the only person in the world. I was super fortunate to have Adam Stanley do my shaves. From the sleepy time towel (hot towel that will literally put you to sleep because you are just so relaxed) to the application of the aftershave it is an experience that is otherworldly.
I have not had hair for a long time. I thought my days of going to a barber were over.relegated to shaving my head in my basement crying into a utility tub reminiscing of the time when my hair would blow in the wind like a lion on the Serengeti. Yeah.genetics made quick work of that. However I can grow a righteous beard and beards need shaving. It is to take that time to treat yourself to something that is just for you. We all indulge from time to time but there is something about having a personal service that just makes you feel like a million bucks when it is done. This is one of those things.
The atmosphere of the Grey Whale, alone, is worth the price of admission. Whether you're in for a hair cut or a shave you will be treated like royalty and will not be disappointed.

Great place to go for a cut. I had been growing out my hair and kept delaying getting a haircut because I didn't want just any barber to cut it, since most barbers don't know how to deal with longer hair. After reading some reviews, I decided to come here, booked with Cameron. Great haircut, highly recommend.

Honestly the most pleasant barber shop I've ever been to. They actually take their time to make sure to give you a really good cut. Had a great experience with Joshua today.
