Love this restaurant and their food! Have tried a couple or things from the menu over the past years. Recently tried their pav bhaji and totally loved it! Definitely found a new place for pav bhaji going forward and looking to try few more new stuff from the menu

Awesome place to have Indian taste. Will surely visit again. One of my favourite places in Toronto to have the best taste.

We ordered chicken tandoori and pomfret. It was best pomfret i ever had in canada.
Good food with reasonable price.

Probably the best Indian food I've ever had, even better than what you get in India. I have to restrain myself from ordering from them way too often. And the fact that they personally deliver is fabulous. HIGHLY recommend their Kadhai Paneer and their Malai Kofta. Also their Kulcha is bloody awesome. My mouth is salivating as I'm typing this. Definitely worth your money.
I just hope they have their in house driver more often.

If you wanna serve non vegetarian please remove LORD GANESHA picture. Customer eating meat in front of that picture. Just think what you are doing.

I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Murg Malai Tikka, with Butter Naan. All of the food was served in a speedy manner, it was hot and super delicious full of flavor and good spices. The staff was so friendly and accommodating service with a smile at its best. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back again to try more of their delicious menu.

Absolutely delicious food. The tomato soup appetizer is one of the top tomato soups I've ever had. Butter chicken is creamy and soft. One of our neighbourhood go tos.

If you're in the mood for Indian food and happen to be near The Great Maratha Restaurant, I would recommend going elsewhere.

The décor is nothing but some random furniture put together, and all the tables feel like they're connected to each other; it felt more like a thrift store than an actual restaurant. So, I would only recommend takeout and not dining in at all.

I ordered the Fish Fry (Surmai), which wasn't fresh but frozen, and it wasn't even cooked properly. For the main course, I ordered the Chicken Tikka lunch special. But what I received was completely different, edible yes but flavors were completely off. The naan was too oily (or buttery), and the rice wasn't fresh, either.

One positive was the service, which was attentive despite there being only one customer. All in all, it's not worth your time or money.

Ate here with my girlfriend on my trip to Toronto, looking for good Indian food. Everything was immaculate, and their 'Royal Platter' dish came out sizzling with the most perfectly cooked meat and veggies. Do not skip the garlic naan, and order at least 2 if you have more than 2 people. Delicious!

Best place for fish fry in Toronto! Their Tandoori chicken is absolutely delicious! Prawns Masala is drool worthy!

This place completely disappointed us for taste and price, The food does not have any Maharashtrian flavour, its rather North Indian style but still not tasty or enough quantity, the price for mutton curry is $19 plus tax which was not worth at all, all other items were also very costly.

Great restaurant, great staff. The food was great and the service was quick. They give out good portion. Strongly recommend if you're looking for authentic Indian food. Will definitely be coming back.

This would be my best restaurant so far for delicious Indian food, we tried Dal Makani, their signature Murg Musalam, Naan and Gulab jamun.will order again. Highly recommended

Went there on a Saturday afternoon around 2, was completely empty and no one around. When i heard voices in the kitchen i tried calling them to see if we can be seated. No one bothered to come out. Why bother marking your opening time as 1pm if your not ready to serve.

Ordered the butter chicken. Specifically said make it spicy but the curry was almost too sweet. Garlic naan saved the day but only curry would’ve been hard to eat as it was too sweet

Fantastically fresh-tasting Indian takeaway. We've enjoyed the chicken madras, and would highly recommend the chicken tikka masala and aloo gobi (perfectly tender and smoky cauliflower, wow!). Both are standouts. We're very much looking forward to the dine-in experience; the place looks very warm and cozy.

The Great Maratha never ceases to amaze me with its food. Everything there is always extremely flavourful and fresh and the price is very reasonable. They as not skimpy on the portions and the servers are very wonderful. Some standout dishes for me are the lamb biryani, chana masala, and popcorn chicken tikka, but you can't really go wrong with anything.

Also I have nut and sesame allergies but was able to eat almost anything I wanted on the menu.

I did a delivery for Vegetarian food I was craving for, The Appetizer Crispy Lady fingers were crisp but i felt a bit bitter and salty, the Kadai paneer was too sweet for my taste, lots of gravy few paneer, Garlic bread was fresh, soft and nice.

Giving you one star for good naan and MDR kebab platter was really good.

Ordered through uber eats on Saturday night. The chicken Tikka masala was very sweet.

Lamb roghanjosh had too much tomato.lamb was cooked perfectly.one more star. But you did not give me roganjosh. It was simple mutton gravy.

Worst Indian food. Almost want to throw it out butter chicken, korma. Looks good tastes like nothing. So disappointing.

Ordered twice for pick up: Lamb vindaloo (good spicy), Seekh kebab, Mint chicken, Kadhai (was too sweet, but good) and Jeera rice

meat quality was good, no odd or fatty pieces, or grease/oil in the food. Clean and tasty

Amazing staff and amazing food! Authentic Maharashtrian style fish dishes, particularly the pomfret.

Really good food last time had got the malai chicken and tandoori shrimp were amazing & this time got fish was yum.must try for sure

Reached a little late, but they were so accommodating. Ordered the paneer sizzler, Amritsari paneer, Achari paneer! And a lot more! Indian food lovers do go and eat at this place!

Ordered the chicken tikka masala and madras masala which was delicious! Unfortunately, the butter chicken disappointed me. It was VERY sweet! Please lessen the sugar!

The menu and service were above our expectations. I absolutely enjoyed the ambience of this restaurant. First-rate place to take the family out for lunch.

Was here to pick up the food. They started making the food when I got here. What's the point of pre ordering the food? No professionalism to even let the person know how long it would take to get the food ready.

Worst experience on my first visit.
I ordered food and waited for 30+ minutes.
They served 5-6 Uber & Skip orders which i noticed came after i ordered my food.
Upon asking for the status, they asked me to wait for 2 minutes.
In total i waited for 50 minutes for just 1 non-veg.gravy & 3 naans.

Friendly staff and fast service.
But the food CONTAINS LOTS OF SUGAR ; Atleast 200 grams sugar in each Dish, and the NAAN TASTE LIKE PASTRY (Too SWEET for a main dish. (We all know sugar gives a good taste; but we all trying hard to avoid it as much as we can). Even though I asked and make sure that "It doesn't have sweet taste, isn't? "!
Please try to make sure the quality of the Food.

We ordered butter chicken and Murg Mussalam. Butter chicken was average but Murg Mussalam turned really nice. The spices and ingredients were fresh. No cream or fats were added to override the orignal flavour. Highly recommended!

I admire this restaurant very much.there is a different atmosphere. The food is tasty.the service is effective and the personel is trained. The price is satisfactory. I definitely recommend.

The service was great. Some of the items that we ordered were great, some not so much. Pomfret was good and so was the seekh kebab as well as chicken tikka. The veg garlic ball was good too.

The only complaint we had about the food was The kofta was very sweet which isn't typical for that recipe. Almost seemed like we were having dessert in our main course.

Further more, there was a bit of smoke coming from the kitchen, causing eye irritation and so the restaurant management decided to open the front entrance door. Not something i have experienced before.

I recently ordered food from The Great Maratha restaurant Eglinton Brach for a party at home. The food quality and quantity was excellent. Delivered the food as promised for quality, quantity and the authentic taste.

This is the place to go to if you want to eat the food which tastes the way Marathi people like it. Absolutely tasty food with courteous staff and nice environment at reasonable cost.

Amazing taste and very good quality food. We ordered goat curry, shrimp curry goan style, chicken kadhai, cheese naan, butter naan and mango lassi. Goat curry was very well cooked. Must try goan shrimp curry.

The food here is awful. Overpriced and everything is undercooked. The food doesn't taste anything like Indian food. It's bland and tasteless. Feels like food for senior citizens. Please avoid if possible.

Place and food is average, at least coming from an ethnic Southeast Asian immigrant who had also sampled dining in several South Asian restaurants around the area (Toronto). I did not particularly like how the King Fish Curry (Surmai) tasted, but that may be just me and my taste preferences. At the least, I like how the food portions are plentiful. Good enough to share for 2 people.

Great place. Their fried pomphret & shrimp curry are excellent. Very wellcoming staff. Food is fabulous. Quantity is big and one order can be good for two people. Recommend 100%

Had placed the order for a small gathering to celebrate my son's birthday. The service was great, food was excellent, lip smacking authentic Indian flavors. All the guests enjoyed each item on the menu. Thank you Rishi, the quantity of food was right, your suggested items for starters were an excellent choice. Thank you for making the event a memorable one. A bit on the pricey side but worth the money spent. Keep serving great Indian culinary we will be back for more!

This is one of the best Indian cuisine restaurant in North York. It’s a small family run restaurant and they take care of the customers as their own friends! Service is great and so is the food.

Food - one of the best Indian food. And the best part is they cook and add spices considering the taste buds of the customers. I have visited couple of times and have never been disappointed with the food.

Service - service is very good and super fast. Staff is friendly and understand the customers needs. However, sometimes it becomes messy if there are too many take away orders. The service tends to be slow in such cases.

Ambiance - it’s a small elegant restaurant. Ambiance will not disappoint you. However during winter, every time anyone walks in or walks out, the cold breeze flows in - they need to insulate the entrance with appropriate curtains.

Overall - must recommended!

Just ordered with uber from them for the first time. I am really enjoying all the delicious flavors Of the lamb biryani & mint chicken Tikka. Great portion size. If your are in the mood for authentic flavors with a hint of spice. I really recommend the dishes.

One of the best Indian Restaurants and good service. Pomfret fry is very delicious and authentic goat curry.

Food is very fresh and nice. We ordered goat biryani, dal tadka, ad garlic Mann. I would say one of the best hospitality I got in Toronto's restaurants:) The owner even gave me a free mango lassi when he saw I was not feeling well ^ ^ Thank you

To call the food here delicious is an understatement. We order in dinner all the time and also try to make the trek to the restaurant at least once every two weeks to enjoy their incredibly affordable lunch special. We have never had a bad meal or dish and we've tried most of them - everything is always fresh and full of amazing flavors. Love the place!
