There were always a lot of people, so I went at a time when there weren't too many people. Jjajang is cheap.but it was too bland. There are no ingredients in sight.it doesn't seem like it used to.it feels like the cold soup was brought to the jjamppong. It was disappointing

Friendly and cozy Chinese Korean style restaurant on Steeles.
We stopped by to grab a quick dinner and our order came right on time.
The noodles are thin types but little more chewier than other places, but jjambbong soup and enough veges satisfied me enough.

Today, I ordered japchae rice, fried rice, and sweet and sour pork, and the whole family enjoyed it so much. I think it's the best thing in Toronto! The female server also responded so kindly that I think I had a better time with my family.thank you

Service was bad and food was sub par. When this place opened years and years ago it was delicious. Now the jjajang noodle sauce was 90% small diced cabbage and onion which diluted the black bean sauce and made it look barfy and no black bean flavor. The tangsooyook meat was dry and the sauce was cold. It was obvious they had pre-made sauce and just threw raw veggies on top. You need to cook the sauce with the veggies to get them soft and flavor the sauce but they took the shortcut here. Also sauce had no pineapples and mushrooms. They topped it with raw onions and raw carrots. Bleh. Disappointingly overpriced for the food.

The quality was surprisingly horrible. The sweet and sour pork was very stale, even after requesting that they fry it fresh because last time we had this dish, it was also stale. You can smell how stale this dish was. The black bean noodles was so blend, it seems very watered down. The spicy seafood noodle was good but overall I don't think I will be coming back. I've given this place few tries but it's consistently disappointing and I rather not spend any more money here.

Extremely poor customer service. We ordered 쟁반짜장 along with many other dishes; however, our table was too small that we couldn't possibly fit all the plates and eat comfortably. So we kindly asked our 쟁반짜장 to be split into two smaller bowls, but the owner flat out rejected our request saying that we can't order 쟁반짜장 and then ask for two 짜장면s. We tried explaining our situation saying that the table was too small but she kept insisting that we were being ridiculous. Here is a piece of advice. Next time, actually take the time to listen to your customers' requests and think about the reasoning behind their requests.

Jjajangmyeon and jjambbong tastes great here. Tangsuyuk failed me every time I cane here, so I would not recommend. The batter is too thick and meat is dry in my opinion. Everything else is decent.

Ordered a shrimp stir fried rice coming with a blackbean sauce and a spicy soup. Very satisfied with the overall taste and how they harmonized:)

My friend and I ordered black bean noodles and tasted amazing! Nice and warm Jasmin tea is served a free of charge as well.

Ill be frank, I havent been to this place in a long time, because of terrible service I got a few years ago. This time around, at least the service was not bad. The food quality, however, was not what we expected. The noodles were a bit dry, and the seasoning was a bit too much.

I would come here in the future if I am around the area, but likely won’t actively look to go.

I've been consistently going to this place for the last few months.yesterday I had the seafood noodle.and everything seemed okay at first and then I came down with food poisoning. Still feeling sick never going back here.

I visited here sometime during weekend. The food was nice, but the service was bad. What happened today was that one of servers directly asked me for paying 10% tip. Generally, a restaurant would ask you about service satisfaction if you pay less tip (which is generally 15%). To be honest, everything was late and even i got food served after someone who ordered later than me. Do not expect any service here and keep in mind you sould pay min 10% tip without service.

제가 팁을 적게드린건 서비스가 만족스럽지 못하기 때문이에요. 제가 처음방문한것도 아니고 보통 가면 15퍼는 항상 지불하고 왔었습니다. 직접와서 10퍼센트 팁을 요청하시기 보다는 서비스가 어떤점이 불만족스러웠는지 저한테 물어보시는게 더 맞는 방법인것같아요.

It is unbelievable that this place is still open. They are not that kind of people who respect and appreciate their customers. Besides, the quality of their foods is getting worse and worse. Don't spend your money for the people who disrespect you! There are many other places to go nearby.

Great food, Good service in the restaurant prior to covid.
During covid for takeouts, If they are busy, they tend to miss (asking for 짬뽕 soup) or mix up notes in order (asking for less yellow radish and more raw onion).

Their black bean noodles was nice. The fried pork was horrible. Dry and tasteless. Like a chewy sponge

Was very disappointing. There customer service is good the servers were very helpful but the food made everything go to waste.

Over the years, owners and chefs has been changed quite a few times which affected the taste as well as the service. Just visited recently and the taste and the service seemed to be on the positive side. Looking forward to visiting the place again. This place is Korean-Chinese Restaurant for those who do not know what they serve. Think of it like the style of food of Hakka, Chinese food influenced by Indian Food.

I had a lunch with my brother on Sunday. We ordered two Jajang myeon and one Yuringi. We ate half way. Then found black short hair on the Yuringi plate. It’s fine hair which it was hard for us to see. We talked to one of the servers about hair. The male server came back to is with the plate and asked us “what would you like to do with the food? ” I was not sure what he meant by that. He explained further that if we found the hair before we started eating then it is 100% their fault but it was found in the mid way eating. So I said to him, “so are you saying it is our fault that we found hair? ” Then he suddenly changed his words by saying that he doesn’t mean that but since it was found while eating.he did not finish his sentence. I said to him we’re done eating. I was little upset with their reaction. My brother just said to him to leave the food on the table. And we did not finish jajang myeon but just paid and left as we did not feel any desire to eat their food anymore. What a horrible customer service! I did not expect them to give us a discount or cook all over again. Simple apology would have make things OK. However, not taking the responsibility disappoint us as a customer. I would never go back to this restaurant. I would like to address “horrible customer service” FYI, we did not eat not even half of the food we ordered, but paid in full and left.

Must try an absolute gem in this area!

We decided to give this place a try. After seeing some reviews we were very skeptical. However, the staff was very knowledgable; the place was clean and newly renovated.when we asked for suggestions; what they recommended was Bang on! It was super delicious. Black bean sauce noodles were extremely fresh tasting and the sweet and sour chicken was absolutely delicious! I love how they offer 3 free little things to munch on, and the complimentary green tea, as well!

Definitely a great spot and we will be back again to try some new delicious dishes!

The atmosphere was interesting, we got a little cubicle with a table in it. It was quite cramped, and the the table was not wiped down after the previous customers left. The utensils and chopsticks were also not readily available, and the food quite was quite bad. Overall a fine place, but I would recommend a different place if you intend to go here

Very good food! Especially the champong. Excellent service as well, very friendly. And you get a LOT of food for the cost! Great value.

Delicious Ma Pa Tofu Bapa and Chicken Corn Soup. The serving portion sizes were large and the price is valued.

This is the one of the Chinese Korean style restaurant. It used to be crowdy during weekday evenings and whole weekends. Since the chef was changed, their foods were okay. I haven't been since then.

Yesterday I went there, service was good, food was almost garbage.
Fried smelled expired oil and noodles saucer was terrible.
After eating, all day had stomachache. I never go there again.

If you want a hearty Korean meal at a decent price, this is the place to go. I recommend their Jajang Myun and also Champong noodles.

This place used to be my go-to restaurant for Korean Chinese cuisines. I recently visited the location but the food wasn't the same as I remembered. I assume they are now under a new management or have hired a new chef.
