Since having to return to the office I've had many sad lunches. The food here makes my lunch the highlight of my entire day. Amazing service, especially from Miles, quick meal and great price.

FANTASTIC. The food here is always 10/10. Really delicious, great quality, generous portions, reasonably priced. I order from them frequently (probably more than 100 times) and am never disappointed. The people working here are lovely. In comparison to all the mediocre restaurants in Ottawa, this place is a GEM. Please never change.

Highly recommend this quaint little restaurant in downtown Ottawa! Authentically prepared Greek cuisine from sausage appetizer to a main course of octopus. Friendly fast service with very reasonable prices for the quality. Go early, seats are limited.

Stepping inside, you're greeted by a space that is simultaneously cozy and inviting, with ample seating accommodating just over two dozen guests. Although the interior design might hint at a vintage era, it holds a charm. The cleanliness of the establishment is impeccable, assuring patrons of a well-maintained venue.

However, it's the staff that truly elevates the experience at The Greek Souvlaki Shack. On my visit, a single front-of-house employee managed to seamlessly juggle multiple roles—from manning the cash register to taking orders, from serving the mouth-watering dishes to ensuring tables are promptly bussed. Yet, despite these myriad tasks, they checked in on me thrice during my meal, displaying an impressive level of attentiveness. Remarkably, a kitchen staff member also emerged to inquire about the quality of the food and service, a testament to the establishment's dedication to customer satisfaction.

As for the culinary experience, it was nothing short of exceptional. I indulged in a two pork skewer plate, accompanied by fluffy rice, a refreshing salad, and perfectly roasted potatoes. The dish was not only generously portioned but exuded the aromatic and tantalizing flavors synonymous with traditional Greek cuisine. Every bite was a delightful mix of warmth, freshness, and impeccable seasoning.

In sum, my experience at The Greek Souvlaki Shack was faultless. From the unparalleled service to the exquisite taste and unmatched value, it ticked all the boxes. I eagerly await my next visit to Ottawa, if only to relish another meal at this remarkable establishment.

Had lunch with my team here and it was amazing. The food was delicious and filling! The plates are huge I love that! I’d like more feta cheese though. There’s a lot of options like chicken, meats, seafood or vegetarian. On top of that the chicken and lamb are halal! You can get a plate, low carb plate, a sandwich and plenty of appetizers and desserts. There’s a jar of cookies next to the cash register that just stares at you and they are delicious! The whole team ordered some when we payed.
The service is really good and fast! They kept refilling our water which I really appreciate! We were a big group so we reserved a table just in case because it gets busy quickly. I would definitely recommend and comeback again!

Hands down the best Greek food in Ottawa, and unbeatable prices! Great lunch and dinner place. The new server Miles is also really wonderful and made the experience even better. TIP: try the echolocate chip cookies for a small dessert!

One of my absolute favourite take out places in all of Ottawa! The rice and potatoes are so yummy and the platters are great value for the food you get. The staff is always really lovely and efficient given all the orders they receive. Truly a hidden gem right downtown.

The ingredients are undoubtedly fresh, and the service is impeccable! However, the taste of Greek food, being both salty and sour, is a bit unfamiliar to my palate. It’s worth noting that the flavors are authentically healthy!
