The Guild Inn Estate

It was a pleasure working with the team and we are so pleased that our wedding went well:) we very much enjoyed our day!
We wanted to say a special thank you to the team and banquet manager Silvana for their special attention on the day - they were very observant (they noticed guests were entering via the terrace and asked if they could move the seating chart outside so that people could see it) and accommodated any requests we had on the day (we asked if our meals could be brought out last as we were going around to greet our guests between courses)
We would highly recommend Guild Inn to any of our family and friends!

We had our wedding at the Guild Inn Estate in September 2023. Overall we had a great experience with them! Priyanka was our event details manager and she was always very responsive and helpful - she went above and beyond on several occasions to ensure everything went smoothly in preparation for our big day. Our guests raved about the food and service at our reception - it was a great party! A few things to keep in mind if you're planning to have your wedding here that we didn't realize until after we booked:
1. The photo permit for guildwood park costs $450 (this was the price when we purchased in Nov. 2022)
2. Although the closest and nicest hotel is the Delta, we found out when we tried to book rooms with them that they converted to a homeless shelter during the pandemic (we went with Best Western instead).

These are things unrelated to the venue itself and not a huge deal but nice to know ahead of time rather than finding out as a surprise. All in all we were able to actually enjoy our wedding and loved every minute of it. The Guild Inn and their staff made it a beautiful and very special day for us!

We recently hosted our wedding at the Guild Inn Estate and it was incredible. From the beautiful scenic grounds to the event spaces themselves everything about this venue is perfect. The Gazebo where our ceremony took place was the perfect mix of modern architecture and nature with the large glass windows on all sides.
Our wedding coordinator Teja was fantastic from start to finish and helped us plan and coordinate the perfect wedding day.
Onthe day of our wedding the staff and banquet manager Judy were very professional and friendly and ensured that the timing of our ceremony, reception and dinner went exactly to plan. No easy feat.
Would 100% recommend this venue to anyone hosting a wedding or special event!

I know they just did renovations, but should have installed better soundproofing, very, very distracting, couldn’t hear the speeches, because the blasts of music from the next door event was distracting us. Also, the bathrooms toooo far away, all the way downstairs, what were the people who designed the renovations thinking! All the talk about the Guild Inn this and the Guild Inn that is just a ‘Status Call’, when it comes to Guests convenience, think twice! So sorry, but that’s the honest truth, the staff was hardworking and polite, the woman bartender was excellent, friendly and polite.

We went there for a wedding and wow what a beautiful venue, the food was absolutely delicious and when it was served it was nice and hot even though we were about 600+ people
One thing to note, one of the guest at our table did not eat the pasta they had served the waiter asked if something was wrong and the guest told him that he does not eat the type of pasta that they had served, I was blown away the waiter went to the kitchen and brought back a different style of past now that’s called service

Attended a wedding there. Lovely complex and rooms plus excellent food. Wished it was a bit warmer weather so we could have enjoyed the outdoor scenery.

What an absolute dream of a wedding venue we would get married at Guild Inn again in a heartbeat. We got so many compliments on the ceremony space, terrace and food! The service was fast, the staff were excellent and Natalie helped us navigate the process. Would recommend to my closest friends. Plus the pic opportunities are beautiful here.

We just had our wedding at the Bickford House and we're still glowing about how EXCELLENT everything was throughout the entire process. From Téja (Events Details Manager) to Glenn (Banquet Manager) and Grayson (Sound Technician), the entire team at the Guild Inn Estate was fantastic! The staff were always immediately responsive, looked after the smallest details, and ensured that everything was on time, making it stress-free. All our guests raved about the intimacy and ambience of the entire venue and how the food was delicious and abundant (eg they thought the huge appetizer was to be shared at the 10-person table, but EACH guest got one, and that's just the appetizer!) The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready, the terrace was great for the ceremony, cocktails and dancing, and the gardens were the best for photos! This is the perfect one-stop wedding venue!

Our wedding was at the end of September this year and it was perfect! The planning processes with the guild was easy going and the staff were extremely helpful on the day of.

This review is specifically for our Banquet Manager Judy! She was phenomenal! She made the day of our reception go by so smooth. We set up part of our venue in the morning and came back later to find that Judy had set the rest of our tables exactly as I was wanting. She made sure we had food and drinks throughout the night. She was Incredible! If you can request a Banquet Manager request Judy!

We had our wedding there on a Friday in mid-September. Starting with Helena introducing us to the Guild Inn, moving to Priyanka to ensure we thought of everything and Silvanna ensuring it all flowed well - it was all top notch! Not to mention the grounds, with the statues and flowers - stunning! Would highly recommend.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue and team to work with. We had a small wedding in the Bickford House. We researched several venues but Guild Inn was the first venue we looked at - and we fell in love with it immediately. We're so glad we booked it on the same day! The process was so smooth from booking, planning, to execution. The Guild Inn team was responsive, knowledgeable, and very accommodating.
Our guests loved the venue, food, and service. We have nothing but good words about the team that we worked with. Our event details manager, Natalie, was awesome! We couldn't thank her enough for being so helpful and organized. We didn't have to worry about anything during the day of our wedding. All the details have been properly communicated to the entire team who worked with us on the day of. We were able to relax and just enjoy the entire day. Our banquet managers, Judy and Glen, and their team were exceptionally good. They went above and beyond to make sure that we, along with our family and friends, all had a great time during our wedding. They were very approachable, friendly, and helpful to all guests. They knew exactly what to do at the right time. We definitely recommend Guild Inn for your next event. We still can't believe how beautiful and stress-free our wedding was!

Our experience with The Guild was truly outstanding. From the moment we booked our wedding, throughout the months leading up to, and on the actual wedding day, the entire team provided exceptional service. We had our ceremony and reception at the venue, the Gazebo was a great space for the ceremony - bringing in elements of outdoors. The garden and grounds was the perfect place for pictures.
Téja was wonderful in assisting with all the preparations leading up to the wedding, and on the big day, our banquet manager, Judy, went the extra mile to ensure everything went seamlessly. Our guests had nothing but praise for the service, cuisine, and the overall ambiance of The Guild and its staff. My husband and I would highly recommend it for future couples. You honestly can’t go wrong.

Went as a guest of a wedding. Staff are nice. Appetizers were good. Dinner was stellar. Kids got appetizers (mozzarella sticks) in addition to chicken fingers. Main was soup with fish (Tilapia). Was well cooked and spiced. Wedding bar was good.

It does share space with a park (beautiful spot) but is shared with the public which might put some people off.

Overall excellent location.

Absolutely beautiful venue. I had back to back weddings to attend here 2 weeks ago. I was shocked at how beautiful the property was kept and maintained. The food was delicious and the late snacks were also amazing! Staff were very professional and bartenders were very quick and good at what they do! Would love to come back here again at some point!

Great venue perfect everything the sound is horrrrrrrrible. Sitting at my good friends wedding and I can’t hear nothing…. Really? The guest are so respectful but I can’t make out anything. Everything else gets 5/5 but this sound experience ruined it sitting here can’t hear any good jokes or fond memories from all of the groom and brides friends

Beautiful venue space. The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. Unfortunately the patio is not an appropriate space for a dance floor. There are too many spaces in the stones and high heels were constantly getting stuck in the stones. Whether it was dancing or walking from the bar I kept getting my heels stuck. Also, my white wine glass, which I didn't drink from, had lipstick stains that were leftover from the dish washer. Definitely need to check each glass before they go on the table.

Gorgeous place, love visiting it over and over again. Great pieces of art available throughout the estate. Lots of parking available. And a beautiful event venue also available on the estate. Love it!

Our wedding experience with the Guild was nothing short of amazing. From our first visit, to booking our date, to finalizing our details, the Guild staff were transparent, open, and very easy to work with. Natalie our details Manager was a pro, extremely responsive and detail oriented. She made sure we stayed on track with all deliverables and was flexible to accommodate our requests. Judy and the event team on the day of were AMAZING! We felt like a king and queen, always with someone checking in on us, bringing us drinks and making sure we had everything we needed throughout dinner. The food was INCREDIBLE - huge portions and high quality far exceeding what we have experienced at other high end venue in the city. We honestly have nothing but amazing things to say about the Guild, we loved it, our guests loved it, and our wedding was absolutely perfect! Thank you to everyone who had a part in our special day! We cannot thank you enough!
