First time I bought a new guitar from this establishment.
They were fantastic to deal with. They threw in a spare set of strings and did a string change and a set-up right there while I waited.
Ryan the guitar tech is amazing and Matt was great to deal with also. Very helpful with no pressure to buy an instrument.
I would highly recommend this store and wouldn't hesitate to give them future business.

I brought in a PRS guitar I'd bought off a friend that he neglected for a year. It was totally unplayable. These guys got it playing perfectly, and we're a few days earlier than they'd first told me. The price was also excellent.

This is now the only guitar shop that that I will go to and I many others are much closer.

I had a problem with grooved frets on a start, and other shops I took it to, the front counter reps would read repair prices from a price list, ask warn me it might be more when the tech gets to it in 2-3 weeks.

When I visited The Guitar Shop, I met with their tech Ryan, he asked about my playing style, advised me that he could repair the problem with a fret dressing of the problematic frets and a setup and recommended a different gauge of strings that would be more applicable to how I played. When I picked up the guitar, Ryan brought out my guitar and made sure I was satisfied with the work and the setup. My guitar came back so well set up it exceeded my expectations.

I then took in an acoustic I’ve had for years that I never enjoyed playing. Ryan did a beautiful setup on that and it is so much more enjoyable to play.

This shop is pretty small although they have a great selection of guitars, amps and more. The front counter staff is knowledgeable and having direct access to their tech is priceless!

30 second phone call to put aside what I wanted to see. Friendly conversation when I arrived and set me up to test out the guitar I was after. Helpful answering my noob questions. Great price. What more can you ask for? I'll be going back whenever I need anything more, and there is always more.

Can't comment on how cozy it may be, because i was turned away at the door. Despite advertising they are open for in store shopping, they "aren't having that". Their words. Glad I wasted my time driving there, super customer experience. Zero stars.

The guitar techs here are amazing. I have a Jackson USA 7 string that came with issues from the day I got it. My issues were a poorly filed nut, glue around the neck binding, and low fret. I went to 3 Jackson certified techs and they could not correct the issue or made the existing problems even worse. I became frustrated after spending almost $250 on these poorly done jobs. I was referred to this store by another guy who likes the work done by the techs here. I came to this store and described my issues to the store owner and he told me everything will be perfect as it should be. The week later I got my guitar and everything was actually perfect. The nut, frets and glue residue issues were all resolved. I was thinking of selling this guitar because of the issues it came with but now I enjoy it so much I will keep it. If I ever need work done on my guitar I'm defenitley comimg back here.

Brought in my Strat to get some minor work done. Very knowledgeable staff who take the time to explain what they are gonna do with your baby. They did a great job very happy she plays like a dream now! Thank Guy's!

Did not know about this shop until I missed out on a local kijiji listing and the seller told me I could grab the same guitar new at this place. So I emailed the store regarding the Ibanez Prestige in question and got a prompt response from Ryan who proceeded to answer all my questions. Given the lockdown I couldn't actually see the guitar but he assured me it was pristine and smooth. Took his word for it and ordered it online and then picked it up via curbside the same day. Guitar was fantastic as described and the customer attention was excellent. Will do business here again.

From an online shopping and customer service perspective I can't speak highly enough about this shop. Very prompt communication via email with Ryan. Quick to get me what I need. I was looking for a PRS silver sky. Set me up with a room, got me an amp based on typical use and gave me space. Couldn't have asked for anything else.

This is my favorite guitar store in the GTA. After many purchases, small and large, I can say that I am always treated with respect. The employees are knowledgeable and passionate about their products. They are honest with their thoughts about everything in their store but understand that everyone has different tastes. Their repairs and set-ups are quick and worth every cent. I’ve been a customer for years and I couldn’t recommend this store more.

I had an active bass preamp issue that needed some circuitboard soldering I didn't trust myself to do. The Guitar Shop and technician Ryan Storkson were recommended by a bunch of different people online so I reached out to Ryan and it was all good news from there. Ryan took incredible care in fixing my bass for me, he let me watch him work on it and gave me some tips about how to resolve some small issues myself. I 100% recommend his services to anyone with a guitar that's in need of some love, but that's not all - Guitar Shop especially earns their 5 stars when you aren't gouged at the checkout like at big name chain stores! Ryan totally deserves every bit of his bench rate and the guys at the cash were really nice too, I will definitely be a returning customer! Endless thanks!

My wife brought in a old stratocaster in this shop for a setup. It came back perfect so I decided to bring in my SJ200 for a setup as well. Action was low, buzzing out and duo pick up had intermittent feedback & static. Ryan, the tech setup the EJ perfectly and replaced the pickup. Now this guitar sounds beautiful. I have been playing for only a couple years but know all these guys at the shop know what they are doing. Thanks guys

From the initial phone call taken by Matt to the actual visit in store, the customer service is above and beyond. I came in to fix my guitar and these guys diagnosed it and even tried to fix it so it wouldnt cost me anything. Ryan, the tech and the other Ryan (lol) were absolutely nice to me. He took the time to go over all the guitar and with a little history lesson. Boy what I thought would be a 15-20 minute visit ended up being an hour just playing a few of the guitars and trying them out. You just made a new loyal customer for life and you BET I will put the word out there. Thanks for everything!

The service here is phenomenal. I brought in my Warlock and asked if they could take a look at it, as it was making an unpleasant buzzing noise whenever I played it. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that there was no diagnosis fee, and that the repair cost would be extremely affordable. I was notified on the spot that the fix would simply require a wire replacement. I was also informed of the price, the time that it would take to complete the repair, and that there would be no additional 'surprise' fees or further repairs performed on my guitar without my authorization. When I returned to the guitar shop the following day, I was in awe of how courteous they were to have gone the extra mile, beyond simply repairing my guitar. Not only did they fix my issue with the buzzing noise, they also went ahead and trimmed my guitar strings, wiped the dust off the body (my guitar has been sitting for a while as they might have been able to tell, haha), and also secured the volume and tone knobs as they were fairly loose. I can confidently recommend this shop to anyone with their guitar needs. The service and honesty that I have received here is unmatched by any other guitar shop. A sincere thank you to the great staff here!

Great guys easy going no pressure tactics used here! They are very knowledgeable super environment just a great shop definitely worth checking out if you are in the area but also well worth a trip if you are coming from out of town! Have purchased multiple guitars and other equipment here, it’s my #1 go to place when it relates to all things guitar! Check them out.you won’t regret it.

Never been into the shop before but needed help with a setup issue on my PRS. Got treated like I'd been a customer for years, got a guitar setup more beautifully than I'd ever experienced (it was done in a day), paid half the price I expect for that service in Toronto- most impressive they LISTENED to what I was needing. (Tech even called to walk through what I wanted to make sure I got back what I was looking for.)

Also -every bit of gear in the entire shop is immaculate and they have basically the best gear at each price point they offer. There's no filler in this store.

Could't be more impressed. Thanks to both Ryans for your great service and help! After an experience like that, I'll be a lifelong customer.

This was a great place to shop! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They had so many beautiful PRS guitars that I had no choice but to buy one.

Excellent guitar shop! Lots of high end guitars that are well taken care of. They seem to be cleaned and possibly restrung regularly. It was nice to play $3000+ guitars that didn't leave my hands feeling grimy. They offer a fair deal on consignment, and due to their large guitar-obsessed customer base, guitars can sell quite quickly.

Excellent selection of PRS guitars, they also have amp rooms that you can close the door and rock out. Very clean shop and the gentlemen working there were very friendly and helpful. What a great guitar shop, shows that shops can still have charm, rather than going to the big chain music shops where they don't give 2 rats about you.

I've been going here for 25 years. Brent, the owner, is a great guy. As a kid with money for strings and picks only, I always felt welcome spending time looking and occasionally trying all tur gear I could only dream about. I don't go as often anymore, but the staff seem positive and welcoming (no sense of guitar snobbery here). Great local shop to support.

Going into a music store can be a little intimidating however, walking in for the first time we were greeted with a warm welcome. Nice store with lots of beautiful and unique instruments and accessories. Friendly and enthusiastic staff who genuinely enjoy helping you out. Wasn't planning on buying anything but I found some real gems. Ryan gave superb customer service answering questions and showing us some really great options. Very patient dude who will try his best even if there's a language barrier. Fair prices with deals here and there. Looking forward to my next visit. Thanks!
