Outstanding Hummus. Lovely warm pita. Delicious falafel and a tahini Harissa sauce that will blow your mind. Turkish coffee like a real coffee and excellent service. If you find yourself in these parts, do stop by for a great meal. Their takeout was superb too.we bought the chicken and the beef / lamb shwarma.

Visited The Haifa Room in Toronto and was thoroughly impressed. The menu, featuring delights like humous, falafal, hot chicken, and lamb shoulder, was outstanding. Each dish was full of flavour, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. The highlight was the kanafeh for dessert – a sweet end to a fantastic meal.

What set this dining experience apart was the great service and the unique, flavourful handcrafted cocktails.

Highly recommend The Haifa Room for anyone seeking top-quality Middle Eastern cuisine in Toronto. A true culinary gem!

Came here for my sister’s birthday for Brunch. Their meal selection is quite limited for Brunch so expect to share appetizers. The falafel and roasted potatoes were so good!

What a great spot, food, service, atmosphere was all 5+. Places like this is why we love Toronto. My daughter recommended Haifa and as always she was spot on. We started with the house hummus, delicious, coffee and then roasted potatoes and the best Skakshouka. Thank you for the lovely, delicious, chill Sunday. We will be back.

Service was excellent, if inauthentic… I’ve been to Haifa and there I’m more used to the hummus plate being tossed at you then “service with a smile”!

About a week ago I walked to the window and wanted to order a falafel. As I was ordering I saw one of the staff was sweeping the kitchen floor, once my order placement was completed, that same staff proceeded to make my sandwich. No hand washing was done.
I also ordered a drink and she gave me the drink right after I paid for it. I told her that I would want that with the food so it can be cold. She left it on the counter throughout the whole time. After collecting my food I asked her I like a cold drink please, she sighed and gave me one from the fridge, she seemed very annoyed.on Wednesday I asked about catering details for 20 guests for falafel plater and kofta platter. I was informed that I would need to call (647) 344-2*** (I don’t know if I should share numbers here). No one answered but the automated answering system said that the voicemail system is not initiated yet. I tried to call couple more times yesterday and today, no answer.

Friendly, great spot, but basic services not provided until requested, and even then had to get napkins and spoons ourselves for coffee!

Dined at the Haifa Room for dinner. Both me and my partner were hesitant in giving 4 or more stars, as the food was great, but the service was… interesting to say the least.

A classic tale of two cities, the dine-in option is noteworthy, but the take-away menu is something special! If you want to dine in, the vibe is bourgeois, with lots of gorgeous fixtures, tight-knit tables designed for sharing. We enjoyed the cider, hummus, and two types of pita, but the cauliflower was disappointing considering their calibre. The take-away menu is vastly cheaper and my new favorite cheeky ritual! I ordered the fries, falafel, and sabich platter, which is finger-licking delicious for two!

Everything about Haifa room is excellent, from the vibe, service and food.

The sous vide cabbage and lamb entree were front runners.

Definitely want to come back with a larger table to try the entire menu.

Great cocktails and very cute ambient.
However, I do enjoy this type of food, but I can also tell when every single dish is just over salted. Moreover, the staff was constantly making us feel like it was our time to leave soon (I really hope they just had a bad day).

I was looking forward to visit the Haifa Room. I love middle eastern food and actually make it at home.
I ordered Falafel (4 pieces), hummus with zaatar (xomes with pita), house pickles and smelts.
The Falafel were good, freshly fried but the tihini thye came with was ok at best.
The hummus too deleted and very salty. The pita was very good. The pickles too sour, and the smells Luke warm and soft. Obviously they were reheated.
For dessert I ordered Knafeh. The knafeh itself was good, not too sweet, but the lemon custard was too sour and too sweet.
I paid more than 70 for average food that you can get anywhere else for much cheaper.
I'm not going back there

The food is solid, atmosphere is great, no complaints at all. Will say that we were in a party of 6,3 couples, split the bill 3 ways and paid automatic 22% gratuity. Which is absurd.

I’m curious on who decided on 22%, why not 30% or 35%?

Great vibe restaurant! Modern, smooth, lounge'y, with funky music in the background. We only got drinks this time, but we are definitely coming back for food which smelled amazing, tasty and fresh. Food prices are also great. Definitely recommend!

Conflicting review for me: the food is really great, but some of the worst service I've received at a restaurant.

When I went last week with my husband and friend, I had the unfortunate luck of a server who seemed genuinely annoyed with every question I asked.

Could I have an extra glass? *eye roll*
Could I ask a question about a cocktail of yours? *eye roll*
Could I ask a question about my bill? *insinuation I'm not very bright for pointing out a mistake on the bill*

After I pointed out the mistake, the young woman server made the correction, but not without huffing and puffing and then making some inane comment about how I should have caught it before she brought over the machine.

Very bizarre. The food is delicious, but the service that day (and in previous visits) really is abysmal.

I have empathy for people who have bad days, but I've been served by this woman before. She really shouldn't be working in the service industry. Your patrons are not annoying you for asking questions. We're your customers, and if we're asking a question, we genuinely want help understanding things.

The service was horrible, the waiter didn’t want to be bothered serving our table.
The food was very very bland, not worth the money. The place is over-hyped!
And also, it’s advertises the food as “Israeli cuisine” but isn’t that just cultural appropriation of all foods Palestinian, Lebanese and Syrian?
Oh yes, they’re so good at stealing foods, land, whatever they get their hands on!

Probably some or the best falafel and hummus in the city. Ive been for both lunch and dinner, but I think the menu lends itself better to a lunch sitting. Shakshuka is excellent, potatoes are a must and if you go at dinner, try the chicken.

Amazing and flavourful food! I came here a while ago and I cannot believe I haven't written my praise here yet. Love the interior of this place, so bright and open. Our server was lovely and the food was just so so good. Their special that time was the lamb hash and it was delightful! Falafels were light and crisp and the Palestinian chicken was delicious I would absolutely come back!

The food was delicious! You can tell great detail went into making sure all the flavours fitted well together.not to mention the great customer service at this restaurant as well.i am so happy to have stumbled upon this restaurant and will definitely recommend!

Had such an incredible dinner at The Haifa Room last night! The house hummus is some of the best hummus I've ever had. We also ordered the falafel, kofta, cauliflower and chef Jason brought us the special charred cabbage on the house! Every dish was unique, flavorful and delicious. This restaurant is a new favorite of mine and I would highly recommend anyone to try it! Can't wait to return and try their new brunch menu!

I loved it! The flavors were so distinct and yet enjoyable. I really wanted to try their hummus as well as Sabich so went for the sabich lunch plate. The pita was fresh and tasty. The fries were crisp and the salad was fresh. Would be back with the Mrs.

Let's GOOOO! What a dynamite of a spot. Great service, great food. It's hard not to order extra and not feel guilty about it.

Hummus was good (albeit overpriced), but the keftas were dry as a summer day in the Negev desert.

Came for dinner on Saturday night and put our names down for only a half hour wait! The food and drinks were soo delicious. My favourites were the salmon ceviche, roast garlic potatoes, and [melt in your mouth] lamb shoulder.

The space is beautiful, modern, and cozy all in one. Will be back!

Delicious beef kebob, Baba ganough and hummus. The fries were vvvvvv good too. I would order all of it again. Not pictured is the beef kebob in a pita - I had it cold because I couldn't eat it right away and it was still so tastyyyyy

Great atmosphere and very convenient way to order to go from the outside via the window. Falafel tasted great. The only reason I am taking a star away is because when I ordered the food, the guy said he could split the sandwich for me but when I got it it wasn’t done. A bit harsh but also I drove a long way to try out this place.

We were blown away by our 1st order.
The hummus special had walnuts and grilled peaches which were sublime. Baba ganoush was fresh and smokey delicious. The falafel came with a salad/pickle creamy wonder that was delicious and satisfyingly rich.
In there somewhere was a hit of fresh mint too.

I ordered the falafel pita, great size, perfect balance of ingredients and flavours! Highly recommend for a quick tasty pita.

Terrible service and the food was messy and tasteless. I suggest going to a Palestinian restaurant instead of this place

Best falafel I’ve had in Toronto. Flavours of the holy land but you can’t beat the real thing. The pita itself was good, not outstanding (still cracked). Also 10/10 location.

Rude staff and slow service- decent food but pita was stale and it’s over priced.

I complained about how long the food was taking and that Uber said my food was ready and they said they have no control over the app, when I said that a falafel sandwich shouldn’t take this long to make the manager threatened to refund my order and told me to get out.

I would also opt to go to a Palestinian restaurant (see other reviews).

I ordered the steak sandwich. I found the meat was cold and not well cooked. It was quite disappointing. The sandwich was quite small tor it’s price. Good luck hopefully you will have a better experience

I’ve heard very good things about the food and unfortunately today as I arrived for my first time to try the food I faced very rood stuff and horrible customer service. Avoid coming here if you are looking for great customer service.

The best falafel sandwich I’ve ever had. Blew me away. Every ingredient in it was great - I’ll be buying some hummus to go next time.

Best falafel in the city! The sabich is amazing too, wasn't sure what to expect but it's one of my favourites now. Definitely need to try the fried schnitzel pita and always get a Zamalek drink.

This was the best falafel sandwich that I have ever had. 100% recommend and I am definitely looking forward to coming back when indoor seating opens! Loved it!

Solid corner run shop serving freshly made falafel - definitely return.cant go wrong ordering here unless you walk the wrong way.

Went by today, we got the Sabich and the Veggie sandwich. Super friendly chef greeted us with such enthusiasm. I was so excited to try the food, and it surpassed my expectations! Normally don’t like spicy but the pickled hot pepper was perfect.

Can’t wait to see what they do with the inside, definitely will be returning again and again!

Easily one of my favourite Middle Eastern restaurants in Toronto. You can tell the team cares about what they do and that is reflected in the food quality. The staff is extremely friendly and every visit is filled with personal and genuine interactions.

All of the menu items that I've ordered so far have been stellar, including the falafel sandwich and plate, zaatar fries, and hummus.

I am a customer for life, and honestly don't feel the need to go anywhere else anymore to get my falafel fix.

Came to this place on a recommendation My sandwich was good but cold falafel and falafel wasn't crispy and where the hell is the garlic sauce! They put everything on my sandwich. How do you know I like tahini sauce and hot peppers? Well i dont. I ate it anyway and i will pay later. Maybe ask next time? I was the 1st customer of the day everything should have been perfect.
The schnitzel pita was a twist. I didn't like it. Hard and crumbly. I thought it looks better then it was. It took away from a real falafel sandwich. 13 bucks? For a falafel sandwich. I dont know.
