The Hamlet Veterinary Hospital

This is my usual vet for my three pups but I had an emergency with one of my pups today and the clinic was super responsive and got me in for the cancellation appointment. They gave such care to my reactive dog who was in pain and was sore. Thank you so much Dr. Séguin and your staff.

A little over two weeks ago we had to put down our beloved Jackie Cat at the beautiful age of 23, she would have been 24 on September 2nd. Jackie was "buffalo running" and jumping over 2feet to chase her favourite lazer up untill her final days. This came on very fast (a matter of days) making these calls to different vets was one of the hardest things Iv ever done and was extreamly emotional. I had called 3 different places and each receptionist sounded annoyed by me because I was unable to hold back my tears. Finally I called the Hamlet Vet. Im not even a client there.
Dr. Annie and her team are AMAZING and ohh so compassionate. They never once got upset with me, were extreamly calm while explaing our end plan for Jackie.
When the day came to bring Jackie, I walked in and there was a vet tech waiting for me at the door (Im so sorry I cannot remember your name but you know who you are) and she was so calm and compassionate and actually made me feel very welcome even giving the reason I was there. She had set up a beautiful thick high end pink bed with beautiful pink blankets for Jackie. All the staff esspecially Dr. Annie gave Jackie the upmost and respectable, comfortable final chapter to her life. Another thing that stood out is the true love Dr. Annie has not just for her animal friends but their humans as well. She never once left Jackie alone after being euithenised and told me no animal ever gets left alone in the rooms. I picked up Jackies remains about a week after her crossing. Its been almost 3 weeks now and so hard still for me. Today in the mail I got a beautiful card from Dr. Annie and her Team. Its all hand written with the upmost beautiful messages and Jackies inked pawprints. They TRULY go above and beyond for their animals and the animals humans. I have nothing but the best things to say about this clinic. I can only imagine how wonderful their regualr care is.

I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. I have recommended them to many friends and family. The vets and staff are incredibly caring, thorough and professional. I’ve been going to the clinic since the very beginning with my senior cat, who was recently put down, and now with my two cats and dog. Putting down my 20 years old cat was incredibly difficult, but the staff made the experience bearable by supporting me every step of the way. My vet, Dr. Seguin goes above and beyond for her patients, and so does the whole staff. A special shout out goes to Christine, at the front desk, who greets everyone with a smile and is so kind and caring.

I love this vet! There prices are slightly better than most place. If you're not sure if something is worth a visit, you can email them and they will give an honest answer (they saved me a couple unnecessary visits!)
