The Haunted Walk of Toronto

We experienced Alone in the Dark - The Village at Black Creek and it was amazing! I wasn't sure what to expect and loved every minute of the experience. As we were in small groups, exploring Black Creek alone at night, we felt like VIPs! Our guide, Margot was wonderful. Such a talented storyteller and extremely knowledgeable, she brought the experience to life for us. And did I mention she was super kind? For anyone who wonders if you'll see any paranormal activity. I swear we did and it was so much fun!

It was a lot of fun! Our guide was knowledgeable and you could tell he really wanted us to make contact

He was great at leading us through the seance, scrying, ouija board, emf meters and spirit box

The only reason it wasn't 5 stars was because our contact attempts were unsuccessful

Was also excited to look over my pictures after and see a face behind the fence (zoom in to the left side of the first pic)

Our tour guide was very passionate, and she was awesome! She made sure everyone got to where they needed to go safely after the tour was over, and she was very knowledgable about the locations we visited.

Christian had a great time at Pioneer Village and he loved all the stories. Christian wanted to say a special hi to Kent. Even thought he is only 9 he had a blast and will do it again.

I love ghost walks and this one did not disappoint!
Gotham was so sweet and did a great job. He was kind, courteous and very knowledgeable and brought the storytelling to life but so far no spirits. I can’t wait to try the Black Creek tour that he recommended. Thanks again!

This tour deserves even more than five stars! Jack gave an absolutely amazing tour of Black Creek! I had a great time and definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for an opportunity to learn about the darker side of Toronto’s past! Thank you for such a fun evening!

Have done all the Toronto haunted walks now and have really enjoyed every single one of them! The guides are very likeable, tell really engaging (spoooooky) stories about very interesting places and areas in the city. Even as a local, I always learn about some new lore I never knew about. Definitely recommend all of them! Would love to do more haunted walks in other cities at sone point soon:)

Loved the walk to see the campus and the Uni at night, really great stories and brilliantly told by Tori. Made the campus come alive at night and such a great location to do it with all the old buildings. Got us in the Halloween mood!

We took my great nephew for his 13th birthday to the Haunted Walk in the Distillery District. Zack was our tour guide. He was excellent. The tour was very enjoyable and we all had a great time!

Our group participated in the 'Alone in the Dark' session of Pioneer Village. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. Jack was an excellent host.

This is definitely built for the amateur or first time investigator of the paranormal. If one is an experienced investigator, this is not likely for you. I'm not going to detract for this because I think the description of the tour is true. The title is slightly deceiving though, as you are never left alone.

One star retraction because there was a wedding happening on grounds. There should be better coordination and these tours probably shouldn't happen, or it should be announced when buying tickets, if an event is occurring simultaneously. The noise very much detracted from the investigations.

Be aware, there are practices of the occult on this tour. It is somewhat described, but these practices really are not meant for entertainment, and I believe open people, unaware to the potential consequences. This is my opinion, but my friends enjoyed it, as this is their way to investigate. It is not mine.

Overall a solid introduction to paranormal investigation.

I’ve been on many “ghost tours” in many cities. And enjoy learning of past and what may have happened. This was my 3rd time for Toronto Ghost tours. The locations/stories change over the years although I wish they kept Queens Park and the Royal York hotel in it. Always a great time …

We all had such a good night out, walking the streets and hearing the history of the original Downtown Toronto buildings. Calan was a great storyteller and shared all the ghosts and gore of past generations.
Highly recommend!

Excellent tour of Black Creek Pioneer Village. We took a tour of most of the buildings, got to stand inside and see them at night - perfect fall spooky vibes. I only wish it was longer!

The tour was great. My boyfriend and I had a great time. However we did have a group of friends on our tour who were being very loud and obnoxious the whole time which sort of took away from the experience. We are considering booking the alone in the dark experience to get a more personal experience. However our tour guide nick was great and lots of fun!

The tour was really great! Well explained and had strategic great locations for each story.
Bianca was the best guide! She's really great at the story telling and awesome at integrating the group. We were really happy we had the tour with her guidance.

We had the pleasure of taking our kids on a tour at Black Creek with Irene, our tour guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. The kids were SO into the tour (9 & 11) and got genuinely freaked out (in a good way!) Huge thanks, these folks are very talented storytellers who genuinely love the paranormal Thank you for a really wonderful family night out

Lots of fun. The presenter was well versed and kept our interest. She was respectful towards the spirits in the homes we entered. I was hoping to go into more establishments on the premises, such as the halfway house and the Doctor's house.

Had an amazing time! Husband and I wanted to celebrate our 1yr wedding anniversary doing something we both love to do, alone in the dark was the perfect fit! Fantastic staff, spooky experiences, and very educational about the location. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone who is wanting to experience some paranormal events

I was visiting Toronto for work and decided to do the Distillery District walking tour. I had a fantastic time! We had a great tour guide who was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about the history of the area and they had a great sense of humor!

These tours are always a great way to learn about the city you're visiting, and I'll absolutely go again to another one of their tours the next time I am in town!

Had a great tour last night and did the Original Haunted Walk. It was fun and informative. I'd highly recommend it.

I went on the Distillery District Tour in August and it was incredible! Our guide made the tour very enjoyable, including lots of history as well as spooky tales. Even though I lived in Toronto for 6 years, I only knew a couple of the many stories they told. The beautiful ambiance of the district combined with great story telling and witty puns makes this a great tour for Toronto residents and visitors alike!
