We recently purchased a new motorhome from the Hitch House. The process took a couple of months and Christine Marcotte patiently and with great enthusiasm answered all of our many questions. Christine welcomed us to the Hitch House as warmly each time we arrived as she did the first time we met her. Every effort was made to make the transition from our old rv to the new one as seamless and hassle free as possible. A big thank-you to Christine and the whole Hitch House team!

Callled and spoke to a lady in service who did not take the time to ask my issue rather pass the buck on to a service manager who said he may not call me back today. Quite the bad attitude. I just wish I got her name. Would never deal with this place again.

The hitch house is absolutely awesome! Would recommend as a RV dealership any day. When we were at boots and hearts my converter blew and they had no problem coming in and fixing it so I would have power for the weekend. I want to give a huge shout out to Chris and the rest of the staff I spoke with as they were all super nice and very accommodating. Thank you all!

Bought a used C class motor home and it was well built so no issues. Few years later bought brand new A Class. Thor 30.2. Paid for extra paint protection warranty. Faded within second year. Due to COVID and detail bay issues they could not perform warranty work for 3 years. This caused decals to check into cracks. Told not covered by warranty. Finally got coating redone. But they also buffed the decals removing the colour and coated over top. Amateur hour and I am stuck with it.
Then there was an issue with windshield rubber seals being loose. Under warranty so they repaired as I have 5 year warranty. 2 years later small section loose again. Told since they worked on it now only their warranty of 90 days. So I had to pay $85. That one was really mind boggling. They did a bad repair voiding my warranty. Wow.
Then a very small issue with emergency brake lever disconnected. Told they would call me if parts required. Thought it would be warranty but how bad could it be. Silly me. Bill for $285 because they had to cut away part of the dash to install properly. Not warranted? How could that be? Told he had to lay on his back and was difficult. Guess we’re his feet where. Totally broke my ac controls loose from the dash. Didn’t happen here I was told. That issue has been occurring since 2005. Hot cold temp variations brake glue loose.
Then noticed a dime size hole torn from back of the seat. Told that didn’t happen here. I had no pics to prove it. I know they had to put slide out to fix water leak so they must not have tilted seat forward. Their answer was not us but go to Orillia and buy a seat cover.
I think they did the oil change I asked for but I was so upset and no detailed receipt provided so I don’t even know if they did it.
If you have to there for service take lots of pics before hand to protect against ‘ didn’t happen here’.

The wonderful people from the hitch house they were so great to help us out at boots and hearts. When there 30 amp service they provided us was wired wrong, and we all had 240volt surge. Very helpful and did everything they could to help us out. Big thanks to Chris.

Got scammed with warranty, left the unit there twice to resolve warranty. Last time unit was there for 3 months to resolve warranty issues and still didn’t get issues resolved. Then when I followed up to send back again to resolve for these warranty issues. They responded it’s now out of warranty and will not be covered. Definitely would not recommend this place to buy a NEWMAR. You’d expect better service then this.

We came to see Class A diesel pushers and we're so pleased with Rick, he was knowledgeable, kind and patient with us. We will be back to purchase from him in the future!

My husband Mark and I recently bought a Class A RV and we are so excited for our next journey in our lives:). I saw the one I liked and went to the Hitch House to view the RV. What a great team they have there:). They made us feel amazing just like family and went above and beyond for us. It was like our family was helping us pick out our RV and giving us awesome recommendations to make our traveling easy and comfortable. They really care about their customers and that makes all the difference to me when I am shopping somewhere. A great big thank you to all of you <3 and may the wind always be at our backside to help us save on gas hahaha

These guys took care of everything. Mike Barton listened to what we wanted and actually called us when he found it, unlike other places. Mike was so helpful walking us through the purchase of our motorhome. The service and parts departments got everything installed and ready to go for our pickup date. I cannot say enough things about The Hitch House, a great team all around

Just purchased our first new RV from The Hitch House 3 x months ago and along this experience we have had our challenges learning the machine, Paul Lewis is worth his weight in gold helping my wife and I get thru some stressful situations.whatever they are paying him isn't enough and i am not kidding! Thank you Paul for all your efforts and simply being a gentleman to talk with when we needed you.

Paul and the entire service team were amazing - being from out of town, many dealers will not give you the time of day - enter Hitch House, they were friendly, accommodating, and a pleasure to deal with. Potential new RV purchasers, or better yet, repeat RV purchasers know that the sale purchase experience is usually great, where many dealers fall down is in the service area post sale. From what I experienced Hitch House views service as an opportunity to continue the great sales experience. I would recommend Hitch House to anyone looking for a quality product and a great post sale warranty and general service.

We recently purchased a new Class B vehicle with Hitch House. From our first correspondence with Don our sales person to the vehicle walk through and service work with Paul, everyone we have met has been responsive, professional and great to work with. The Hitch House exceeded our expectations, which is rare these days, and we highly recommend them if you are looking for a new or used RV or need service work. Called them up for a related question about my Thor and they referred me to deal directly with the company instead of taking care of a customer on there own. Really dissapointed.

From the time Fran picked up the phone when I called about getting a hitch installed the service was first class. Questions to ensure I got the best hardware for my use as well as ensuring up front they had the exact model and wiring for my vehicle. This place is outstanding. Don't forget to say hi to Miss Willow whem you are there.

Suzanne and I more than highly recommend The Hitch House in Barrie, ON for all your motorhome needs - from purchase to service and parts. Why? Their hallmark and the thing that makes their sales and service stand out head and shoulders above the competition is their superb customer service, attention to detail and large inventory. Their sales and service are staff friendly and incredibly patient. They take the time to explain everything to your satisfaction and to answer all your questions. (I think they are used to dealing with first-time buyers and want you to have great RV experiences.) They continue to build their outstanding 50-year reputation.one.customer.at.a. Time!
Before you drive off into the sunset with your exciting new purchase, the staff makes sure that you have a thorough training session, have meet key staff members, and have everything you need. They also make sure that you know that they are just a phone call away and are still there to suppport you even after you drive your rig off the lot.
