The Hive - If you like "salted birch" scented toothpicks, overpriced vista print quality sweaters, and snobby staff you'll love it here. If you visit (don't) just be sure to do it on foot as you'll likely be asked to move your car.there are actually plenty of parking spaces, but it seems as though none of them are properly marked. As a result, customers are berated by this establishment's awful employees, who stare you down and make you feel entirely unwelcome.

I find it hard to believe that anybody would find this store affordable (as mentioned in a previous review) - $8 toothpicks and $50 infant knock-off Crocs convey "elitist" as opposed to "affordable".

This is the kind of store that WOULD give you instant buyer's remorse, could you afford to actually buy anything.

It's a shame that my first visit to The Hive will also be my last. I'd suggest skipping this on your next visit to Honey Harbour - You won't regret it.

Reposting as the original review seems to have mysteriously been hidden, almost as if the manger of this business profile knows that everything mentioned above is true.

I’ll start this off by saying, I love the selection of this store and the cafe they have. It’s a wonderful experience we enjoy every so often we’re at the cottage. BUT, this is my second experience coming at a time within the posted hours and they’re closed. Today we came shortly after 5 when their hours posted on the website and ON THE SIGN OUTSIDE THE DOOR that they were open till 6. They told us they were closed and I, being very confused walked out without pointing out their posted hours. I feel this is just lazy store clerks looking to get off early but it’s a waste of the 20 minutes I drove to get there with a baby in tow only to turn right around and head back. Long story short come right in between posted hours to ensure they’re open as their posted hours are a load of bull.

We stopped here for lunch on the way up to French River. It's a boutique and cafe situated right on the Georgian Bay, with a patio that our dog enjoyed. We had some espresso drinks and sandwiches, which were good, and stocked up on snacks for our trip.

What a sweet spot! Beautifully curated store, yummy cafe & ice cream, stunning lakeside deck/patio. We will be back!

This place does not accept cash. It is legal tender and they have to accept it but they do not. Not impressed.

I absolutely love this location and the Collingwood location. I see a lot of people below commenting on the pricing. Yes, it can be a little pricy but remember people, you are also paying for a service and the service is quality! You are also paying for locally, if not, other Canadian sourced products.

The staff are super personable and helpful. The interior of their stores are tasteful and provide the perfect atmosphere for the products that are being sold. I own about five hoodies/shirts from here and they’re still holding up. They’re some of my favourite purchases.

I will happily continue to spend money here or even just come by to visit and look around. I recommend it to anyone.
