Roger provided a terrible time while shopping
It was too much of a hassle to provide me with the product I wanted because he needed to get someone with a forklift.
I will be getting the item at a different location and same with all my other tools

Placed online order at 6: 30AM on a Saturday and picked up curbside at 8 AM. I can now have a productive day having the last minute repair items I needed. Staffer Sherri was prompt, courteous and proud of the excellent service she provides. Like a breath of fresh air to receive this kind of service.

I always find the staff so helpful, and today i was helped by a helpful and cheery man in plumbing, who quickly found my part and also found more free parts to ensure this will be my only stop at home depot today. Wonderful staff and excellent inventory. Thank you!

Went to this store to look for a product that they used to stock but may now need to order.when i asked the lady she just said i dont think so, she didnt even look towards me to acknowledge me, just kept lokking the other way, didnt even offer to look at the computer to inquire about product.wont shop there again

I own few rental properties. I have been doing renovation for last 10 years.i always buy stuff for home renovation from Home depot. Very Friendly staff and helpful. Their return policy is very good.

Purchased hardwood floor from this location. I called the store to ask for assistance to put the items in the car since we purchased a large amount of hardwood floor. We purchased from Aurora and no one assisted us to put the items in the car so I didn’t want a repeat. I was greeted with a rude staff member named Nancy. I advised her that I would like to speak to the manager or supervisor on duty. She was very rude and had lots of attitude and told me there is no supervisor on At this time, then later told me that the supervisor was busy. I was told prior that there is always a supervisor on duty. I Contacted the store many times and no one answered my calls. The supervisor on duty never called me back What a horrible store. It was approximately 7 30 pm on a Thursday evening so you can’t tell me they were very busy that no one could pick up the call. I do not recommend this store. If u would like to be greeted with rude staff and receive horrible customer service visit this store.

Sara at the Pro Desk is the reason for my 5-star rating. She is SO helpful! Even if it's not "her job", she takes it on in the name of helping the customer and getting it done. She's been a lifesaver throughout our visits to this store! Give her a raise! ;)

The CSR and Manager Tina come up with arbitrary return policy on the spot.
No proper explanation was provided as to why I was unable to return an unopened item purchased only a few days ago.
The policy being quoted by the manager was verbal and they were unable to pinpoint it in writing.
As others have said, Aurora store has a much better customer service and this is where I will shop from now on.

Huge thanks to young gentleman Manee (Many…?) for helping me with my shopping. I’m 9 months pregnant lady and I’m so so so so thankful for the customer service he provided. He carried everything for me and put nicely in my car, I didn’t have to make any extra moves. God Bless you, Manee.

I love Home Depot in the fall. I got new LED chandelier bulbs and got a gallon of paint. The Paint Specialist was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable.

I got an unpleasant experience today, I was looking for a item and asking a help from one of the sales staff, the one just ignored by saying he was serving another customer, that is okay I can understand that, then another seller called Aline was coming behind him, I asked help but he didn’t even stopped, passing by saying “of course you can ask? ”, it was so disrespectful, I felt disappointed, I decided to write it because I hope someone from staff management will do something about it, we costumers don’t deserve such a disrespectful attitude.

When it comes to retail, the employees make the store what it is. I have only had good experiences with the employees, andy negatives or issues were due to Home Depot policy/procedures and not how the associates handled the situation

At least 20 minutes before the store closes and they wouldn’t let me pick up my online order. I understand everything is tough during the pandemic and how busy the store is. I could tolerate my order taking two days to be processed but I cannot accept the store not being open 20 minutes before closing.

Went somewhere else to rent a truck, weren’t very helpful. Also not answering phones. We called for about 30 mins. Then spoke to a manager who told us to keep trying nothing he can do for us.

5 days waiting period for curb side pickup.
Ordered one kit of cleaning brushes for pickup. Waiting for 3 days for pickup email, none. When called for status, asked me to wait another 2 more days. 5 days waiting period for an item is just nuts.

Inventory is not updated. Wrong inventory leads to frustration. Did not get the complete order and then was asked to provide credit card and driver's license for refund. When asked why the refund can't be put back on original method of payment, I was told system won't allow. I was not comfortable handing over my credit card while I wait outside the store. I told the manager that it should be put back on my original method of payment. Waited 20 minutes to be told now it has become an IT issue.why mislead people if there is no inventory and then for people to go there and deal with all this. Two worse customer service experiences within a week's time. Not happy at all.

If you are going to stay open, have the staff to be able to do so.
I ordered online for a curbside pickup and some of the ordered items were shipped to me instead. A $3 pack of self tapping screws unexpectedly cost me over $10 to ship, and a $5 downspout elbow cost me over $13 to ship and they were made on the same order but shipped separately costing me more money. When I called the store about it, they said to take this as a 'consumer lesson' who also used swear words during our conversation, when is swearing a professional way to talk? She also told me to call the Home Depot line but they do not have enough staff to help anyone really, I've called numerous times to find out where the second downspout elbow is, which is costing me an ADDITIONAL $13 plus to ship, as the shipping information stopped IN TRANSIT over a week ago after placing the 'CURBSIDE PICK UP order 13 days ago from the time of this post. I received the two other items I ordered on the same day 8 days ago but cannot get any help from Home Depot at all with this last material order. I have a client waiting and I am waiting to complete this job so I can get paid and feed the family, pay bills, etc.
I've tried the text option of the Home Depot line as they always say they are experiencing higher than normal calls, which really means they should employ more staff at their call centre, makes sense right? I've tried numerous calls, asked to send an email, even the live chat takes forever that just uselessly asks you a bunch of vague questions that doesn't help out in any way.
So, Ive paid $36 plus dollars in shipping for less than $15 of materials and I still wait for one order. I don't care if its covid or not, HIRE people to help if you plan to take consumers money.
This Pro Extra customer who has spent a considerable amount of money at Home Depot will definitely be switching suppliers after this absolute nonsense.

So I have been doing curbside pick up for the last year. If something is ready for pick up the wait time should not be almost an hour.sometimes longer. I came today their were 6 other cars.you cannot tell me with 6 cars it takes an hour to get an order.also if you know you are busy with curbside pick up.why not have more staff to be able to suit the needs of orders? Sometimes up to 3 days now to get an order then wait over an hour to get it delivered to your car? Ridiculous it’s as if people don’t have other things to do

Put an order in two days ago and haven’t heard anything as yet! Called the store this morning and after waiting for 40 minute they just simply told me they are couple of days behind. Should have ordered from Amazon. I wanted to support our local store! Why don’t you hire more people! You probably have Laid off people to save money. A complete right off dealing with Home Depot. They finally got to me today after 6 days. The associates were working very hard and they were great. So I bumped up from 1 to 3 star. Still took too long to put an order together!

Waited an hour and a half for curbside pickup, spoke to 5 staff all of whom complained about stupid policies put in place by their District Manager that were causing the delays. Really poor customer experience, avoid.

Quick in and out curbside pickup. One of the more efficient stores I've been to. Some I've had to wait up to 30mins, but this was quicker even during busy hours.

If you have placed an online order, be ready to wait about 30-45 minutes in the parking lot once you receive an email confirmation that your items are ready. Not the place to order from if you are short on time.

Shopping is all about pick up only now and this Home Depot has really picked up their act. The time from order to pick up at the store was one day, which is a great improvement from my previous order. Staff are prompt, helpful and efficient.

June 1,2021. Newmarket location: Online order was picked in 10 mins and I received an email that it was “Ready for pickup”. That’s great I thought, but once you register “I’m here” on the email and await pickup at the designated parking spot be ready to wait a minimum of 30 minutes for one 10’ pressure treated 4”x4” lumber. That’s right.one item! The people delivering to vehicles are doing a great job, no dis on them, Home Depot needs to do a better job of organizing or staffing up. I’m passed my 30 min wait period now.

Worst place to shop from. Especially when you are real need please look for some other home depot. The problem is from top to bottom. Worst experience i can ever have in life buying online. Confirmed regarding the order 2 times and was assures all will be in order as i was pick from this location in specific due to the quantity showing here was what i required. After 4 days when finally order ready email received to my shock the order was half available. They still charged the FULL amount, never called to inform order can not be completed as requested nor they are refunding the money for something that is not available with them. Tried to contact the Store manager ‘Ms. Timbers’ but no show again. If the manager is this responsible then offcourse people working under will be as responsible as she herself is. Waste of time completely dealing with this location. Rest assured Home Depot is The Place! But this management and reps just gave the worst taste! Not even sure if they are ashamed of such cheap acts!

This location is good. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable. Although currently it's curb side only, they're faster than other locations when placing your order. Usually my large orders are ready by the next day and nothing is missing when they bring it out. Great location.

Wanted to buy a tv stand that I had seen online. The floor staff at the Newmarket branch said that they had it in stock but the item is out of season and that their system will not allow them to sell it.

We checked with the branch at Scarborough and they were able to bring the item to the floor for us! Purchased it instantly from there. So 5 stars for Ali and his supervisor/ manager at Scarborough.

There are better retailers out there with higher quality product at a lower price, if you have the time to find them, otherwise they have almost everything you'd need for home improvement.
