Husband told me to write this on his behalf: Was at this Home Depot location today Dec 20 at 9 am. Needed some wall tiles. They didn't have the correct ones on the shelf. An associate pointed me to the direction of some people at desks who take care of the tiles. I walked over and asked for help. Not one if the 4 people looked up from their computers or whatever it was they were doing. I repeated that I needed assistance and waited. Again nobody budged. Got frustrated and then another fella heard me from another aisle as I vented out loud that I should go to another store. He came to help. And then he pointed at the people at the desk who are supposed to help in that section. Finally one girl got up to assist. I had to walk over to the tiles to show her and ask her about stock. When she finally decided to follow me, she had no idea how to find tile #21 that was on the display. The tiles are numbered so you can find them on the shelf. I watched her struggle until the light bulb went off and realized how the shelves were organized. And she said "Here's 21 right here. " "Those are wrong" "but they're on the shelf. Are you sure? " "You think I didn't check before waiting half hour for someone to help? Do you have some in stock? " She disappeared and was chatting with a guy before finally coming back and in a huff shouted and pointed up high at the upper shelves. "There they are! " Wow, just wow. It took me almost hour and half to get something that should have taken no more than 10 minutes. Worst experience ever. Who are these useless people they hire?

Only person in this store who was a help was Rose at the cash. Rose tried many times to get someone to help load materials in my van but everyone she contacted was too lazy to help it was rediculous and very unprofessional.

Rose paged an individual who comes out and loads things to assist me but after waiting for more than 10mins she finally came out BUT helped someone else RIGHT BESIDE me. Then when done that she walked away and did not help me.so I gave up and loaded the materials myself with a shoulder injury. Rediculous customer service only got 1 star because of Rose at cash.

This is the best Home Depot I've visited based on stock.
The store carries a lot of indoor and outdoor plants. Great pricing compared to nurseries.

I used to love this store. Now I say, stay away from it. Extremely dissapointed! First, they don't provide hand sanitizer and basket/cart sanitizer.
Second, the owners don't wear their mask properly. I saw the husband putting things on the rack with no mask on. The wife was having a conversation with her mask completely off above the meet open fridge.
People who can't wear masks, could wear a face visor. There are more than 3000 cases of COVID/day, so, we can't just pretend nothing is happening.

We went to this store to buy some items that we needed for the house. This is a huge store with lots of items to choose from. Looking for the first item in our list an employee from the kitchen appliances pointed us to the right direction. He was very nice and offered help.
The second item in our list we couldn't find and ended up in the paint section. We inquired from an employee who was in a cubicle what aisle number we should go to. His curt answer was "I don't know this is the paint section but I will check". He did check the computer and gave us the aisle number.
I will still go back to this home improvement store not only because of the variety of choices but also because they have enough staff who can provide assistance when needed.

THREE TIMES…. These Black and Walnut stools were ordered online for $714.00. Three out of those three times we got the wrong stools shipped to us! They Kept sending Chrome stool with Black cushion seat. Had to physically return the stools to the store. The second return we spoke with the Queensway manager, Jane, who was excellent to deal with and she escalated the issue with our new order number, but we still got the wrong stool. Horrific Online service. 3 trips to the store to return and we still have no stools.

I will never support this store again. Last week Friday I was in the doors aisle. I witnessed an employee harassing some black people. I over heard them telling him they were there to build a bbq and the store manager called them. The employee told them to get out of there. He was rude and was shouting at them. I could never shop at a store that treats minorities badly. Especially since I am a minority too.

The best customer service, period. They helped me during my renovation to get the best and cost-effective materials. My basement looks great and I spent significantly less money than I expected initially.

Big rip off. I rented a concrete saw. And they charged me for a saw and separate for a blade. Imagine rent the saw without blade and go cut sthg. Big scam. They have a huge mess in that department. Wont be back

If you need any help, don't be surprised if you cannot find anyone. Today (Dec 2) at 11am we needed help in hardware section, same as other three people in the aisle. Associates from other departments were trying to find hardware associate, store managers tried to find him, and after 40 mins nobody knew where he is. What kind of organization it is, if the manager doesn't even know where his associate is, and is unable to connect to him. Manager was not even sure if the associate even showed up at work this morning ("I have no idea, maybe he called in sick, or maybe he is having lunch"). I think this fact talks about the organization a lot - zero responsibility and discipline. I felt so sorry for a senior man, who was trying to get help for more than 30 minutes and he was almost crying in front of the manager asking for somebody to help him. Also, the store is messy, packages are torn apart, and are all over the place, like there was a hurricane on the shelves. The shelves are a mess, but NOBODY IN THIS STORE CARES! And this is a regular business day, with a small amount of shoppers there. Anyway, this is regular business Home Depot style - they are always like that, and nothing ever changes.

They charged me for a non functional Machine.
Make sure to test all the machines before you rent them.
They didn't test the machine in front of me!

Terrible customer service. We went to the screen door section on aisle 25 on Friday October 15. He was with another customer, but we just wanted to know where something was located. We waited for 20-30 minutes and when we asked he would not answer a simple question - where this magnetic screen is. We searched for a long time and couldn't find it. We then walked through the whole store to find someone else who worked here to help and they said to ask the same guy. He still wouldn't answer the simple question of where something is located. We left without purchasing anything.

How is it possible for a large company like this to still not be able to fulfill a pickup order in less than 30 minutes once you’ve checked in at the curb? Pretty ridiculous and disrespectful of customers’ time. No wonder I’m buying more items online from vendors like Amazon. I want to support the local brick and mortar places but when they ask you to check in and have you wait with no idea on how long you’ll need to wait, I end up taking my business elsewhere. Side note: big thumbs-down to Mano for handling my in-store complaint so poorly. He needs a course in customer management.

They twice charged my credit card for an item in stock and THE DAY OF PICKUP cancelled my order because when the employee went to pick the order, they couldn't find the product. If a business charges your card, they need to put the stock aside to guarantee it's there for you. How the hell is this how you run a business? Now I have no floors for my house, and a contractor waiting to do the work

Shopped online & compared prices w/ CdnTire for exactly the same item. Much cheaper here than at CT. Found item in aisle & bay as said online. No lineup cashing out.

I was with my husband who was having a look at bathroom fixtures for a new bathroom in the basement. Shower, sink and toilet. He went back on his own and bought all 3 items.

Still great service from staff.
Chris in plumbing was super friendly and very knowledgeable. Helped me out with an issue that Lowes, Canadian Tire & local businesses couldn't figure out. Thank you!

A hispanic gentleman helped me in the plumbing section & had great insight to most things plumbing. The great thing is that he came off as sensere. And as soon as he finished helping me, he moved onto the next shopper immediately (shows that it wasnt just a one off interaction. That's 3 great visits in a row. The people make the store and your staff are great so far! Thanks!

Nice fully stocked store. Helpful staff. You can count on the same experience no matter which Home Depot location you go to. Tons of parking and great location in terms of access to highway and in close proximity to other box stores.

It was okay, they were short on stock but I suppose that's to be expected.
But what I really didn't like was the person at self checkout.
If you're going to work with the public, get a better attitude!

Terrible customer service. Waited for 1 HR for our click and collect pickup and asked multiple colleagues for help and everyone literally fed us the same fake update and had employees literally tell us our order was given to us when it had clearly not. When we got home we realized they did not even mix our paint! Been trying to get a refund but after multiple calls and multiple long wait times its been a complete disaster. Stay away from this location unless you dont mind wasting multiple hours, dealing with incompetent employee's and a non existent support system, online chat, phone or otherwise.

The curbside pickup here is a joke.
Drove 30mins out of my way, got here waited 45 mins almost an hour just for them to tell me they don't have what I ordered in stock. So why did I get an email saying it's ready for pickup.

I ordered and paid for a patio set. Went to pick it up and after waiting for 45 minutes for curbside pickup they said they were out of stock. Even though online it said they had 5 at that location.

Frequently visit this place but you guys simply break apart during the pandemic. I suggest the store to figure out how to efficiently handle the pickup orders, because they are constantly late by 1-2 days and when you finally get the email and come here, you’ll wait another hour for the item, either big or small.

Brian a store representative, in the "Lighting Department" was absolutely amazing. I bought lights a few weeks ago, for different rooms in my late Father's home, and Brian helped me with my selection. If it wasn't for him, I would of been there for hours. I was so lucky to have met him, and I told the store manager about this nice man. He provided yeoman service to me. He was so gracious and kind, and had such a cheerful demeanor. Thanks so much for the excellent service you provided to me, You made my shopping experience pleasurable. Stay safe.

Waited 3 days for my order to be ready, then last minute I get an email that my items arent in stock anymore and I get a refund. What is the point of showing something in stock and make me wait to then just give a refund

Guess the people picking the orders can't read or don't bother to check paperwork with product.
These stores would die if they had to rely on curbside.
The returns lineup is going to reach the airport when the store opens to the public again.

Don't bother ordering at all from this place, they can't seem to get simple curbside orders ready within a couple days. Its been a week now since my order and customer service is hanging up the phone on anyone that gets through the line. Its sad I still can't buy simple gardening tools still and we are a year into the pandemic! Ill never shop at home depot again.

THANKS FOR NOTHING, THIS STORE SUCKS!

Found a double sink vanity that we really want, sam from kitchen department was super nice and helped with the assistance of assistant store manager rob to get it delivered to our house. Excellent customer service and professionalism. She also sent out an email with confirmation. Also the delivery was scheduled the following day and the driver was very polite and patience since he waited for me to make space quickly in the garage and deliver it inside. Thank you Home Depot (Etobicoke store) for helping in finding what we are looking for. Will definitely do business again with that location.

Staff where slow at the checkout, there where 10 carts/customers infront of me and 3 behind and only 2 checkouts open. Plenty of associates walking around. Very disappointed.

Staff in the store was great except when I asked for the new toilet to be delivered she neglected to tell me they would not enter the condo. They would only leave it in lobby. I fully understand the reasoning but the store should have told me! I had to push and pull the 90 lb toilet to my suite myself. If I had of known this, I would have saved the delivery fee by having the store put it in my car and then my son could have helped to take it out.

It's a Home Depot, there all very similar. This one tends to have tidier shelves than normal, and I've been asked a few times if I needed any help - which is nice - because at other stores I've had to go searching for someone who works there.

Really awful online order pick up experience. Placed an order in advance, received the notification it's ready for pick up. There's only one employee working both the Return and the Pick-Up counter. It took 15 mins for them to find my order in the locker area.

Bought a saw on promo with a free battery worth $100. They didn’t have the battery on hand and told us they’d call when it gets in. After 3 months of following up, they called to say they will not be getting the battery and we should come in for a refund, we went in and they refused to give us the refund. It’s hard to believe they wouldn’t own up to their own promo. Unbelievable.
