This store is a bit pointless. Online they have tons of stock, go into the store and find two broken bags of product where 167 bags of product should be. This is very typical of this store, I’ll go back to shopping the competition and avoid this location like the plague.
You have been warned this store is a waste of time and space, do what you please.

I just love the Home Depot! I mean, what's not to love? Everything is here! Prices are alright! The store us clean big and bright and the staff know what their talking about! For the most part.

Return staff are super friendly and they were able to look up my order even though I didn't have my receipt.

Ordered some ABS fittings online as I had a plumbing issue at home. Being 20 min to close and them being super busy with curb side pickups I assumed I would be out of luck! Called and spoke to an awesome customer service agent who was able to get my order picked and brought out to me! That’s awesome customer service! Thank you! Great job guys

The place is large and the layout is not intuitive, but they have a large selection and helpful staff

They were a bit slow at going to find us some bubble wrap, and could've given us an update on how long it was taking. But overall not bad at all.

Looking for patio stones, construction sand, ornamental gravel, etc for a backyard project. Very much more expensive for exactly the same items versus Rona

Huge home depot. Great lumber selection. Service is same as every other home depot lol. Big parking lot and they also have van rentals and tool rentals

Good selection of tools and materials. Prices are comparable to other building supply stores. Rigid tools work well for me and I like the lifetime warranty.

Home Depot always has what I need and the employees are very helpful! Prices also seem to be pretty good.

I was there Saturday evening to have a blind re-cut, they only cut one side when I bought it and forgot to cut the other side. I went to blinds but no one was there so I asked customer service to send someone over. 30 minutes later I again asked customer service to send someone over. 45 minutes after I got there the lady came to cut it and apologized because she was the only staff member in the building trained to use the tool. The cut itself took her under 1 minute.
I have better things to do then spend almost an hour staring at the wall, at least train a few more staff on your tools so that there are 2 or 3 people available.
On a positive note the customer service lady and the lady that helped me were quite friendly.

I've never had a bad experience in this store. Everyone is so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! I have had a few things go wrong with orders over the years and they always make it right. Excellent customer service!

Typical home depot experience. Quite a large facility - garden centre not completely set up yet. I'd recommend calling in ahead to check stock.

I'm a contractor and a service technician. I go to home depot both for work and for personal. Always great knowledge friendly staff no matter which store you visit.

Bought a new dishwasher from them a few months ago. I've had nothing but problems with it. It's a G E potable, made a big mistake my old Maytag after 20 yrs run better then the new one. I went to them twice and they told me it's my problem to contact G E and after the sale they have nothing to do with the product. I should have known better, the American.way of doing business. I'll never shop their or recommend Home Depot again.

It was very awkward to get help. We kept asking if the product we were looking for was somewhere.because the spot where the sign was empty. We got directed around a couple of times.then we pulled up the website to show that they had 84 in stock. Finally they believed us and helped us find what we were after.

The renting truck experience was new to us and painfully slow. Regardless.after loading up the truck we asked the desk person to reset our 90 min timer. They didnt. Then we got back.and waited for almost 10 minutes and ended up having to go and find the rental person. We got charged extra for being five minutes late. So that was pretty annoying.

One of the most tolerant and friendly staffs I've met. I walked in tired and a bit out of it and to the two people at the info desk I proclaimed "doorknobs! " and instead of being insulted they sent me to exactly the right spot. Even when I don't know what the thing I am looking for is called, staff at this site can usually figure it out and show me what I was thinking of. Great place.

Best experience ever. Staff was very helpful. I've been to stores across Canada and these guys are the best. Even came out to parking lot to help load when they saw I needed help.

Perhaps not as great as the old Lansing Build-All of my youth, but the home Depot is a modern builders wonderland. From a wide assortment of paints and stains to lighting and plumbing fixtures, the home Depot has you covered. They have cabinetry and countertops and a reasonable selection of tiles and flooring. Their lumber is expensive and their construction materials are okay. I wouldn't by kitchen or laundry appliances there as it is better prices at specialty stores.

Extremely displeased with this store after signing up and making a huge purchase using their home depot consumer credit card. I signed up having explained to me that the card is interest fee for 18 months. I later sign up online to view my statement and find out minimum payments are required.

Called to complain to both Citi bank and this home depot store and both sides simply shrug it off saying it's the law now. Law or not, if this store is selling a service with their brand name and logo on it, it is their responsibility to ensure customers making $3000 purchases are aware of all the financial requirements.

Will never be going back to this location because of this.

Nothing says Home Depot shopping like making a purchase, only to return an hour later for another sized screw.

Horrible customer service in the Guelph store and the management is clueless. I went there to have a kitchen designed. A strange looking woman in the design center sat with us and took all our drawings with measurements and noted the cabinets we wanted and countertop. She kept trying to sell us a style we did not want and insulted us for what we liked. She insisted we pay an install measure fee, but we insisted we wanted an estimate first. She never called us a week later as promised, with answers to questions about changes to cabinetry sizes or an estimate. We called them, another designer said there was nothing drawn for us in the computer yet. Manager said she would find our new design and send it. Week later no call back and no design. We went to store, the designer woman said she was busy with a client. We spoke to manager and were told she would have the design sent that night. Design sent was ugly and wrong layout and estimated price was crazy with a 2-3 month delivery time for cabinets and 2 months for countertop after that. Nobody told us it would be so long to be installed. The worst experience ever. There was a guy there a couple years ago that designed a kitchen for us in two days and he was amazing, with lots of good ideas for flooring, paint, appliances, sink and backsplash. Cabinetry price was too high then, so we waited. We went back to find him this time, but we were told he was fired. The strange looking designer woman seemed quite pleased about that? They seem to keep all the lazy and rude staff and the nice helpful staff are fired. We went to Barzotti and have been treated like royalty, we love their design and 2 months for everything to be installed. Amazed 'Horror Depot' is still in business - if I treated my clients like they do, I would be bankrupt!

Was recently getting some lumber for my fence. Spoke with 4 or 5 different people there everyone of them where more then helpful and if they couldn’t help they found someone that could would deff recommend this store

Not as well stocked as some of the other locations here also not as well organized people just standing around doing nothing

It may take a minute to wait for the staff to be available, but when you have their attention they're all in.

The staff here is very helpful and pleasant to interact with. They're always looking out for your best interest and are available to answer any questions.

The people that I talked with were super friendly and really knew their stuff. If you are ever in Guelph Home Depot need anything in the paint and wallpaper, see Katherine, Jamie or Ken.

Walk a mile to try and find anything only to walk another mile to find someone to tell you the item is on the other side of the store. That pertty much sums up most Home depot trips this one was the same.

This is the second time I have gone into Home Depot and asked customer service if they had something and they have said no. When I didn't believe them and looked for someone in the aisles or looked myself, I have found what I was looking for. You'd think no wouldn't be your first answer.

Good place to get that project going. Anything from garage doors to building that deck. Friendly staff and mainly knowledgeable

The first person I asked to help me find something was not to helpful but the guy in the siding section was a great help.
