I had a great shopping experience at Home Depot. The staff was very attentive and helpful, as they consistently asked if I needed assistance throughout my visit. It's always a pleasant feeling to be asked if you need help, and their willingness to assist made my trip much smoother. The store had a wide selection, and the friendly customer service added an extra layer of satisfaction to my overall experience.

Rick from the plumbing department is a great gentleman. He shows easy solutions for all your plumbing needs, and educates you about how to do that. Congrats to home depot on having this kind of wise workers.

This is the slowest home depot I've ever been to. Today my wife waited 20 minutes for curbside pickup before having to go into the store just to get her order. Numerous times I've tried to get service buying something like wood or asking about a product and the associates either are impossible to find or just don't care. I've tried to rent a van here in store only to be told I have to rent it online, even when the vans are sitting in the parking lot and online says they have no inventory. Sometimes I go to Rona if I'm in a hurry because while they are more expensive for their wood and some of their products, at least I know I can be in and out quickly.

I had some questions for Shannon, one of the managers in Kingston Ontario. She gave me excellent advice and saved me a lot of time and money. She is polite, personable, informative and intelligent as opposed to the self-absorbed, negative, insincere and ill-tempered bullies that somehow end up working with and for the public.

A lot of stuff out of stock, the elderly associate who helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly. Give that man a raise!

Great for most home improvement needs! They had a rare type of lightbulb I needed & searched for ultimately I bought them here as they were cheaper than the other two places I managed to track down

Ordered a lawn mower to be delivered by Day Ross it left the depot on the first day of order and traveled an hour down the road only to sit in mississauga for a week. Parcel was expected to be delivered days ago. Would have purchased elsewhere if I wasn't lied to about the expected delivery date.

Natives are not welcomed in this store. When presented with a status card they refused to fill out the paperwork. It is the vendors responsibility to fill out the required paperwork. Instead they pass it to the customer and Mary Lou refused to complete the process. All other store such as Canadian tire, Lowes Princess auto and anywhere else we shop does their own paperwork which is stated in the Indian affairs act. But no they would rather lose a sale or a customer because of their laziness to do their own paperwork and make natives feel unwelcome. Shame on them.

When I first visited this store, it felt difficult to find what I wanted. Since then I've returned several times and using the store website I can easily find the aisle & bay for whatever I'm interested in.

If you need to use the lumber cutting service I would suggest going to Rona. I've had multiple issues with the cut shop but otherwise it's clean and has large variety and great return policy.

My recent experience was wretched.
I am physically disabled and use a walker.
I approached the front desk staff to assist me in finding replacement bolts.
They assumed I could travel across the huge store and locate these items.
I also asked for assistance in aisle 18. They assured me someone would be there to meet me.
It took me some extra time to walk across the floor.
When I got to the aisle, there was no one to help me.
I sat down on my walker and waited. No one came to assist me. A passing employee said she would make sure to send someone.
I am a patient person. In total, I waited 15 mins in the aisle then called the front desk. Same answer. Someone would be there shortly.
No one appeared. I gave up ten minutes later. This trip should have been a short one for me. Between the walk and waiting, I endured 40 minutes for nothing!

I left the store and made plans to go to @HomeHardware. Time in and out of the store took 15 mins.

The staff at Home Hardware immediately arrived and asked how they could help. A staff member took my existing bolts and retrieved new ones. I was able to sit at the cash and wait for the new items.

I am grateful for the Home Hardware staff and the attention they paid me.

Dropped a lot of money here while Renovating and had great service and selection each time. Clean store and line ups move quickly, curb side pick up during the lock down takes a while but had similar exp with other hardware stores!

Wow.terrible service. I called tonight to ask about lawnmower blade sharpening.the internet states its a service you provide.after calling and selecting a department twice the phone was never answered.eventually I redirected to switchboard who told me after a long waif on line that they do not provide this service any longer. I asked don't you have a rental tool area.she stated yes so I asked her how do they sharpen blades on their rentals.then I asked to be put through to the rental department to ask about sharpening. …then after she said one moment I was rudely disconnected. I didn't call back as it toke so long to get someone the first time I called. Very bad service. I wont be thinking of Home Depot first when I need service or product. Please feel free to contact me.

Terrible service, or non existent I should say needed help in hardware but there was only one person working and at least 5 people waiting, so I left and went to RONA

Home Depot is my first choice for restoration, renovation or remodeling projects. Staff are typically available on the floor and have expertise, sometimes extensive expertise, in their specific areas. They are quick to connect you with the help you need. Nice people, great service and an excellent return policy. The rental service staff and equipment are top notch.

Gave up on curbside pickup after 45 minutes and several unanswered phone calls. We went in to pick up our order ourselves. I fail to see the point of this service.

Even though the curbside pick up was two days behind, they seriously have the best set up I've experienced thus far! Numbered parking spots that you go to your email and press "I'm here" parking spot #12.then they bring it right to you. They even load it into your vehicle! I was impressed!

I find the staff helpful. During covid easier to order things at home depot than Rona and home hardware. I feel bad for home hardware store in Kingston because the problems were with head office not the store itself.

I've always been happy with this location. Staff are generally helpful (although sometimes it seems like they are understaffed).

Went to pick up something up for my friend. KATIE B would not give me the item because i wasnt my friend which was far enough. My friend went to go pick it up herself and KATIE B said she gave it to me which she never did. One star because KATIE B is a liar.

Worst store in Kingston, 4 days and waiting for two sheets of OSB, last time I will ever shop at Home Depot, Lowes will get all of my business,

Update cancelled my order this am, ordered from Lowes, ready for pickup in.only took them 2hrs to do. Home Depot go back to the U. S.

Absolutely horrendous service. Purchased stair nosing and was provided no screws as the item was completely open. Due to lockdown we couldn't return so we went on live chat, they advised we would have the full refund and to dispose of the product. 2 weeks later, still no refund, we go on live chat and are advised they can do nothing for us because the store has to refund. We contact the store whom says they cannot do anything because we disposed of the product. Have all the screenshots of the chat, nobody seems to want to refund despite the chat log.

My mom went to buy new countertops a week ago not knowing if she would spend the money on quartz or laminate as she lives alone and doesn’t care too much about having shiny stone countertops. Just for the sake of comparison she asked to know what the price of quartz would be and she was told by a female employee that “she couldn’t afford it”. Just because someone is wearing lounge clothing and no jewelry doesn’t mean they can’t afford anything.
Thankfully it was my mom and not me as she just left and went to another store for her purchase.

Hopefully store management sees this review and maybe has a meeting with employees reminding them to treat everyone with respect.

On Victoria Day, we received an email telling us that our online order is ready for pick up. We checked their website and it said that it was open for pickup on this Victoria Day Holiday. We didn’t doubt it at all as we just picked up another item at Lowe’s. But upon our arrival, we were surprised to see the sign that they closed pickup for that day. We planned for a BBQ dinner as we thought we would get it that day. We ended up with a pizza that day and went to pick up the next day. I kept the screenshot showed that they open for curbside pick up on Victoria Day. I call them on site and the employer was very rude too. Their garden centre was open.

Our pickup order was filled perfectly and allowed a new handrail to be installed.

In addition, the garden centre does a good job on safety protocols, as well as having a good range of products.

The curbside pickup is an absolute nightmare, other stores like lowes and rona have simple instructions and organized staff, that gets you in and out quickly no matter how busy, it was a nightmare here, no clear organization and the staff looked lost
