Honestly one of the best Home Depots I've ever been in. Staff are always friendly and efficient, and we are constantly being asked by different staff if we need help locating anything. Thank you!

Just wanted to share that the staff at Home Depot in Carleton Place were all friendly and greeted us through out the store offering assistance. Special shout out to Heidi at the check out who always gives a warm welcome and helps us with our purchases. This isn’t the closest HD to our home but worth the drive definitely.

Went in to buy two doors and window. No mill guy on duty. Friendly manager gives me John's card and said to email him, he's the best. I email pics of what needed to be replaced and added, with models and page numbers of catalogs. I mention we would use their contractors. John calls and says we have to come in, not discuss over the phone. We drive in, (30 minutes) just to have John tell us that they don't do any size alterations from original openings or create new ones. All the info was in my email along with pictures. Complete waste of my time. Total fail.

Just recently made a purchase at Home Depot, it was a tongue and groove surround shower unit. I mistakenly cut the wrong side of one of the panels and called the head company that made the product. They said they couldnt send just one panel, it has to be bought as a full kit. Went back to Home Depot to explain my problem, admitted it was my mistake. Talked to a man named Scott, dont know his last name, said he would look into it. Called me back the next morning and told me they would send a new kit free of charge. This is not only great service, this is mindblowing service. You have a customer for life.

Terrible customer service from Cashier and cashier manager (?). I'll drive the extra bit to the Kanata store from now on.

Delivery service totally a key stone cops operation!
In stock purchases are all self check outs - not one cashier on the job!
Anything bigger than a shoe box is not in stock, must be ordered, with a delivery date of whenever, with a $60 charge!
Do not buy an appliance from these people, it will not arrive on said date, and delivery areas are serviced once a week - not next day! My 3rd delivery set up for feb 22 on a feb 5 purchase. Total failure!

Today was a snowy day but I ventured out to see if I could be reimbursed 100$ on a stand up freezer that was bought 2 weeks previous. We saw that is was on sale.
The service at customer service I received was wonderful. I was in and out in 10 minutes. I did not get the names of the service reps but today is 28 December and I was there approximately 11 am. Thank you so much

Appreciate that all departments seemed to have staff. It was so easy to get help when we needed it.

Helpful cashier pointed out that I could save 50% by changing the purchase to individual light switches vs pre packaged bulk packaged with a current in store promotion.

Wonderful experience today! We were totally lost trying to figure out a project. Ben (from lumber) was knowledgeable, friendly, and polite. Took the time to discuss what we needed and explain various options. Best store associate we've encountered. Will definitely be back!

Home depot in Carleton Place its got a few employees around but it's hard to find one to help you. Eventually did and got what I needed.

Rentals staff is always the best. They take the time to help me do quick things that I am usually not able to do without spending hundreds of dollars in tools. It’s nice that Home depot has a spot to cut things for you, but they need to invent a section where a “pro” can help you with these small things like they did today. Jason did all the work but Fataki was right there to be a helping hand and a kind voice.

Very accessible. Found everything I needed. Lots of space to park. I like the 50% off on some items. Staff always friendly and this helps my shopping.

Be cautious about ordering online and over the phone on in stock items. Make certain your customer service rep is in fact putting the item aside for you before picking up.

Just called Home Depot Carleton Place as a brand new lawnmower, used twice, broke. The entire push/pull handle broke. We purchased the mower in November and was told that really too bad but nothing they can do. Truly poor customer service. Will never go back to CP Home Depot.

I love this place. It is my favourite toy store. I always find what I am looking for. The staff are always very helpful and courteous.

Clean store and they are following the civid 19 regulations well. Lack of staff to help in departments makes it frustrating. Once you get the help they are knowledgeable.

Serge at the appliance section is an asset to the company
Helpful, knowledgeable, all the explanation, technical data etc.
And all these with a smile, confidence and will power to be the best

Read product descriptions carefully when ordering on line, particularly if your just a DIY person like myself and not a professional. I spent a couple hundred dollars on a product that did not arrive as expected because the product description was unclear. "Bare tool" actually means "No battery". Why can't they just say that?

Disappointed in Home Depot as I was ordering sheets of lumber and they said that they could not cut it into for me. So I went across the parking lot to Rona and they cut everything to my specs thank you Rona. I guess they didn't want my $500

Delivery service is the absolute worst. Twice I have emptied my fridge on scheduled delivery days. The first day they said no one answered the door which is false. They didn't call 30 minutes in advance and I was home the whole time. The second time they just didn't show up. Customer Service was unable to explain.

I would NEVER purchase an appliance from this company ever again.

One thing is missing is to have the ability to add comments or special instructions when you order items on line. It would be helpful. But I called the store and spoke to Ken Williams and he really helped me out. He went above and beyond to help me.

An absolute nightmare purchasing appliances at Home Depot in Carleton Place. Paid for a fridge and a stove in August. Salesperson did not tell me about the back order. I was only notified a week later that they would not be delivered and I had already paid for them. I said ok with COVID it’s just the way it goes. Finally in November I was told that they could deliver the stove but not the fridge as it was still on back order. I say ok send it. Stove comes and it’s damaged. I then try and negotiate compensation and I’m told not a chance that they would send a new one with the fridge on December 13th. 13th comes and no fridge, no stove and no call. I still haven’t received my replacement stove and I had to chase the store and management and finally went back and purchased a different fridge off the floor in order to get my money back.

Very bad experience that is not over yet despite Home Depot taking my money in August.

Do yourself a favour go somewhere else. Appliances are sold everywhere and Home Depot should be your absolute last last resort.

The guy at the customer service desk was an absolute gonk. Didnt know up from down.very disappointing and this is in carelton place.other stores had great service.

Serge in the appliance department was especially helpful and the man in lighting was super helpful too! You honestly cant beat HD for service. I bought a similar light fixture at Canadian tire that I ended up returning cuz it was 15 dollars cheaper at HD.

Over priced and the staff is not as knowledgeable as they should be IMO, but where else are you gonna get lumber on a Sunday?

When you can find an employee to help find something they direct you to the aisle or personally walk you to the display.

Bought custom blinds here, faux wood, on sale (still cost a ton) and they installed them incorrectly with a level, and the blinds are crooked.

Also the slats weren't made straight.

Great single stop for hardware, tools and building stuff. Appliances and base decor stuff too. Finding people to help is typically a challenge. Carlton Place store staff are some of the best of any HD store I've been to.

Beautiful store for any homeowner or for someone who is renting. I found beautiful accessories for the bathroom and kitchen. Stop by and browse the store. Even if you are building a home, this is the best store to visit. Their Staff are very knowledgeable about anything for the home. They are eager to assist you with any questions you may have. They are the Home Experts.
