We are very impressed with the the excellent service we received from Murray in the appliance department and with Gwen in customer service. Murray's knowledge, expertise.and especially patience (I'm a senior) helped me choose a dryer and a dishwasher that totally met my needs. The prices were the best. Gwen in customer service answered every question we had in a clear precise manner. She was efficient, thorough, and very helpful. Because of the high quality of service given to us by Murray and Gwen, we will return when my 16 yr.old washer quits. We highly recommend the Home Depot in Collingwood.

I figured Home Depot is Home Depot, why bother reviewing? But the staff here are really great. If they don't know something, the follow up with others to find an answer for you. As long as you don't go during a really busy time (understandably), you won't find yourself wandering the aisles trying to find someone to help - and you'll get real answers and advice.

We shop at the Home Depot in Collingwood frequently. The staff are friendly and helpful to find the right product or tools. We needed some plastic for a broken window and the staff helped us with some scrap plastic for free. We recommend the Collingwood Home Depot if you're looking for home renovation products, hinges, tools, shovels, ladders or gardening products.

I want to say thank you for the best customer service today. Another customer was rude to my family as we walked into your store and an employee (Adam) was swift to help out. Adam and Paul were so kind and professional, I think they deserve a raise! We will always come back to your store! Thank you and Merry Christmas.

I can't remember his name, but there was a gentleman in plumbing/electrical the other day that went above and beyond trying to help me find the right fitting for our odd-ball sink drain. His genuine caring and concern was much appreciated and needs to be recognized in a world now where customer service seems to be slipping.

We have always had excellent service here, and the selection/product availability far out matches their competitor down the street

Thanks so much Jason from home depot Collingwood, we were cooking xmas dinner, and our stove broke, I called and spoke to Jason. And he had a stove here within 1hour saving our families Christmas dinner.

Don’t do the curb side pickup here - call the store rather than click on the email with instructions. You will sit there for 20 minutes and nothing happens. If you call the store they’ll bring your order out… not if you click on the link. “System wasn’t working”. Seems to work at other Home Depots in the area - just not here.

Some of the young male employees should be more aware of the elderly that need help.attention management.

I had a horrible customer service experience this evening at Home Depot. I Was in there at 5: 30 doing a return and needed to grab something was in the check out line at 5: 55 and was rudely rushed a cashier started scanning my items and in my space. Then when I was getting my card to pay she reached over me to tap “debit” on the screen. I feel in a retail job you don’t get to drop everything right at closing time. Do better next time Home Depot. Just disappointing to feel so rushed and the rude attitude. I was in my car in the working lot by 6: 02.

Murray was an absolutely FANTASTIC help! Very knowledgeable, patient and went the extra mile to help us make the right decisions for our new appliances. He even stayed late to finish our order and didn't rush through or make us feel less important because of it.

We would honestly recommend seeing him when making a purchase for appliances, and we will be asking for him on our next big purchase as well!

Pricing was good.now we can't wait for delivery! Hopefully all goes a smoothly as our in store transaction!

I’m super disappointed to find out that this store is no longer dog friendly.: (
I’m not sure what happened, as I was able to bring my dog into the store early summer 2022.
If there was a negative experience with a customer and their dog, it should be dealt with on an individual basis.
Punishing everyone for the doings of few is unfair.
I will, unfortunately, stop into stores that still feel like customers and known and appreciated. Thornbury home hardware staff greeted my dog with a pet and a dog cookie. I know at the end of the day it’s a silly and small thing, but it was really nice when you have to run in and get something.

Ps- bad timing on the time of the year to implement this. It’s been incredibly hot out. People like myself will find out on arrival and already have their dog with them. This will lead to dogs getting left in the car… please put more thought into something like this in the future.

Big store staff can be freindly not always greatest when your in hurry try to find somwone to talk to then point you to direction insyead taking you there.sell lowy flowers tho lots plants and garden accessories as well as everything else you may need for your home

I just wanted to write to say a massive thank you to the awesome staff at Home Depot in Collingwood. Today I went in with my daughter looking for guidance on how to make a community library box as a gift. First we spoke to a wonderful lady named Beverly. She was kind and friendly and listened to what we needed. She then directed us to a man named Aiden. Aiden was amazing. He brainstormed ideas with us, helped us write out a list of needed supplies, and twice, when I wanted to quit the idea, he encouraged us to keep trying saying, "I know you can do this. " He then called a man named Tanner over. Tanner helped us look up plans online and priced out all the pieces, and together we brainstormed how we could make the project work on a budget. I am so grateful for their patience, knowledge, and time they put into helping me. Truly extraordinary customer service. Thank you all.

Rob at the plumbing department really helped us to put together a solution for our outdoor shower. The return process is very efficient for products that we purchased extra for our project.

The Garden center is fully stocked and so far the best prices around including Wasaga.
Looking forward to watching my garden and planters flourish!

It's home depot what can I say! It's pretty new and large. That's about it.
Update 2022. It's still home Depot it's it's still big but no longer that new.

Worst staff, they would not show us where the item was we were looking for, they just gave us vague directions and pointed, the first two staff members we asked were completely off on where the item was.
We got to the cash and she wasn't much better. I had to go look for Squ codes myself several times. I'm disabled. I will not do any business there again.
There were tons of staff working but couldn't be bothered to help except one.

What's not to like! Tools, hardware, Wiring, Lightning, tile, flooring, appliances, counters, more tools, Lumber Lumber And also lumber.

Too many employee's without product knowledge or pk in the retail world, but they do have some great people working there with a good selection of merchandise to choose from!

After a number of fits and starts getting our new Bosch dishwasher it was finally delivered and installed. Our sales associate Murray was on top of the delays and subsequent delivery every step of the way and I would be happy to work with him and The Home Depot in Collingwood in the future.

Having to pay extra for the item that I originally went in for is horrible. Why would I go into a store to order an item straight to my house for extra costs when I can save time and go to an online site for the item I wanted originally without the extra charges.

Absolutely atrocious service. "ORDER IS READY" I got this email. Let them know I was here and then waited 30 minutes, only to recieve my bag like this with 2 giant holes in it - everything fell out and rolled around my car. I couldnt help but laugh. I will never shop here again in my life.

Ladies in the paint department were simply amazing. Even with crazy lines with people buying up everything before lockdown part 3, they did everything to make my order perfect and were extremely kind and patient. 5+ stars not even enough

Has taken more then 3 hours for a curbside. For one item. That is ridiculous i understand it is a pandemic but they have been doing it for multiple months now. Please get a better system arranged

Recently went looking for a new dishwasher at HD - Richard, in appliances, was THE most helpful, knowledgeable, kind, friendly and funny salesperson I’ve ever met! I wouldn’t go anywhere else or deal with anyone other than Him - Richard is a gem!

I purchase tiles for my bathroom renovation from the time I ordered the tiles till the time I got the tiles was less than a week excellent

Like any other Home Depot. Only problem, it's not in Toronto so they don't have everything you want or less of a selection.

Aside from the slightly different layout than the average Home Depot, this is comparable to other Home Depot's you could visit throughout Ontario.

Employees are abundant and helpful - usually first to ask if you are in need of assistance in finding or gathering items.

They always have what I need and if they dont they will order it and its fast to get it.one stop store. And really good garden center. Check it out

A place for all your household needs, as well as garden - I got some beautiful hibiscus flower plants in their Garden Center!

It's home Depot. Service and products are pretty standard, you may find things here that are harder to find at other locations due to the size of town

I was in tool rentals for a sod cutter that I wanted today but weather changed my mind looked like rain never using one before I asked the sales rep if I could see one to get an idea of size she took me out side to and a man was just rolling one out. I asked a few questions that were answered to my satisfaction.
I my oppinion these two are a real asset to Home Depot and are great to deal with.
May 29 2020 to day I was looking for a pex fitting that I thought would be easy to find but was not along came Judy D from receiving she looked and went to next row where there were more products under the name of Sioux Chief had exactly what I needed thank you Judy D you put the service in customer service

Waiting 15 minutes on the phone while i continued to Ring, finally gave up and hung up.over 24 hour wait just to have 2 light switch faceplates "ready for pickup" the day prior the lady on the phone blamed a "glitch" in there system and now being "400 orders" behind not my problem, maybe should invest in a better system. They knew this pandemic issue would make things harder and force places to adapt to changes. Next time ill be going else where, only positve was the wyick delivery of a large lumber and drywall order the next day (today) guy saw that our house was in town and close so hit our place first at 8: 30am at least they knew what there doing. Can't say the same for the rest of them.

No checkouts are open anymore. They have staff assisting you through the self checkout process. Feels extremely wrong that they are forcing customers to use self checkout & forcing their employees to assist in the process. Also had no assistance while in store & couldn't find anyone around the tool aisles.
