I have not shopped there for about a year due to the fact that the last time I was there I asked for dry powdered graphite, and no one in the store could help, so I went to Lowe’s. This was not the first time staff could not help. Most of the time it was so hard to find someone to help.
Update:
Last time I was at Home Depot it was a positive experience. They had exactly what I was looking for and they knew exactly where to find it. The staff were friendly, and they even offered to help. I was in and out in minutes. I previously had bad experiences with Home Depot but I have shopped there a couple times since and both times have been positive I would recommend this place from now on. Thank you for the great service.

Let me first be clear, this is not a store problem, but as the head office doesn't have an email I can send to this is my only option. Probably so they don't have to deal with problems! Bought a large toolbox, got it home and assembled it only to find parts missing. Manual says "call this number if parts missing", so I did. Spent 20 minutes on the phone only to be told I needed to go back to the store to get more information. Not about to drive an hour to beg for parts I should have received with the box! If I go back to the store, so does the tool box. Cost of missing parts can't be more than $20 but I pretty much had to submit to a complete background check to prove I bought the thing, and they still won't send them. Yeah, like I've got nothing better to do than spend time calling to try to scam them for a couple bolts and some cheesy drawer liners. Your "customer service" people need some education! Lowes is always an option.

Tried processing an exchange over the phone for an online order in which I received a defective product, but was unable to do so after about 2+ hours on the phone. Eventually, the customer service agent gave up and pushed for me to attend a neaby store to process the exchange. I attended this store and met Deb at customer service, who worked diligently to ensure that the exchange was completed successfully. Since the phone agent had attempted to start the process, this posed numerous challenges for Deb. Nevertheless, Deb stayed on this and after about 20 minutes or so, trying numerous methods and working with another phone agent, Deb was able to complete the transaction successfully. I am very grateful for the effort Deb put into resolving the issue I faced. This store is lucky to have such a hardworking and commited employee.

Was looking at flooring. Wow, so many options to look at. Sometimes it just gets overwhelming. Luckily they have staff to help.

It's a big box store, I'd rather shop local, but Home Depot is the only place I can find certain items for my business w/out driving to Detroit.

Huge store. Lots and lots of products. Staff very friendly and helpful. I think they have got my business when it comes to garden plants huge selection.

I'm finding the Home Depots can really vary in customer service. The product is a consistent but again the team can be wildly at different levels. My usual store is Fanshawe Park Road in London which to me has always been the best. I think Sarnia gives it a run for its money. Love the people here, so friendly & always with a smile.doesn't matter how busy or chaotic it is. Well done.

This rating is especially for an associate there I believe his name was Dwaine what an encredable customer service experience we received from him also extremely knowledgeable. I will look for him next time I am there again.

Just your typical home Depot, the key cutting spot was in a different place though. Went again and found it odd I needed a receipt for a set of Klein tools, often times for a swap they just say sure grab the same thing and we will give you that for the old one, didn't do that. Otherwise a normal home Depot

Went the to buy 4g wire ask a worker to call employee to cut wire. Some miss communication happen and no one was call I stood there waiting till another work happen to walk buy and happen to be good at customer service was able to make me feel like it was mistake happen and he able to help as much as he could to get me what I needed. We talk as he was getting me the wire and I felt happier at the end even tho I wait 15mins for hi.

Had to return a pressure washer and thought I'd be given a hard time. The gentleman helping me was beyond amazing. Super quick, no hassle and even assisted me with my new purchase and carried it out for me.

Did the curb side pick up. It was well organized; but found the wait for our items to be very long. Don't really know why? Seemed to have lots of employees. Thankful our order was correct once received.

They have changed their curbside pick up so drastically and they are incredibly slow, to top things off, there's no one answering the phones to explain this. I ordered a humidifier. They had 6 in stock. I showed up there and they said it will take 24-48 hours before it is available. How the f does that work? Just go into the store and grab me my fricken humidifier. There's literally nobody in the store it makes no sense how i have to wait days for something that is in stock. Seriously slow business with home depot, they are doing "curbside pickup" worse than anybody else. Absolutely brutal.

Bought a brand new Lawn mover. Worked only once. I tried to return that product. Home depot customer care phone disconnects itself while you are waiting. No response over chat support for hours. Can't return in curbside pick up also.
If some one from Home depot management reading this. Advise.how do I return this product?

Our thermostat died and we ordered and prepaid for it.we would have gone to pick it up curb side and installed it ourselves. It has been cold and damp and my husband is 78 we are both feeling the cold and spent the night freezing we ordered it yesterday morning and have been on hold on the phone for over an hour this morning. If they can guarantee 3 hour delivery for loads of paint or construction stuff why does it take over 30 hrs to grab a thermostat off a shelf and put it by a door for a customer pickup?

The reviewer that stated the curb side pickup was great 4 weeks ago was absolutely right. But now for some reason they have changed their process, last week it took 15 minutes to get my order and only 2 people were in front of me. I went there today and there was 12 cars waiting on the road to get into the parking lot. I waited 5 minutes and then line hadn't moved so I left as I don't have all day to sit and wait to pick an order. Currently on hold for 10 minutes to find out how to cancel my order as I am now forced to go somewhere else to get my supplies.

We ordered a few items on line since there is no in store shopping right now and one was ready within hours of us ordering and the other item had to be sent to the store. No big deal at all. We were just happy that they were open to accommodate us shoppers during the lock down. The line was a little long waiting in our car to pick up our items but no different then waiting online to pay at the register. The staff were very friendly which always makes our shopping experience a good one. Just wanted to give a shout out to the staff there. Thanks for all ur efforts and hard work to make this a very smooth process.

Same as Lowe's and any other Hardware/Home improvement store.you can never find your entire list of items you need to finish your project, so then you go next door to Lowe's to finish your list off. Which is good for the two companies, share the wealth.but more of a pain. Staff are always friendly, they try their best to be as helpful as possible. Selection of lumber is usually picked over pretty good, leaving the warped, banged up pieces and with the ridiculous price of lumber right you have a right to be picky with the quality. And by no means is this Home Depots fault, its supply with Covid and everything going on. I will keep shopping there.

I went to get some Ipex 636 glue. The first lady sent me aisle 15 to the glue area by paint. This glue was not located there but the next lady actually looked it up and was able to direct me to aisle 25 section 14 - found exactly what I needed.

Up until now, I haven't had a bad experience with Home Depot - But the cutting services there are essentially non-existent.

I spent an hour there last night waiting for someone to be available to cut a board so i could fit it in my car. Eventually I had to leave and customer service said there would be someone in lumber the next day. My wife then waited 40 minutes in the store as well and after calling and ranting they finally sent someone to help her out.

Generally decent service here, but I'll never try and get anything cut here again.
