On Wednesday Sept 11, we purchased a 12 inferno Halloween Skelton on line from Home Depot Midland.
Paid in full with a scheduled pick up of Friday the 13th. I immediately called the store to ensure all was well and it was and when they get the info it would be set aside.
We attended and to our surprise we we told it was sold. Absolutely shocked.they have known for three days and still sold it to someone else… Terrible Customer Service … We wasted our time, money and effort. Their system is broken.word to the wise, CAUTION on purchasing on line, regardless of the amount in stock at time of purchase or shop elsewhere.

After to speaking to the a/manager she located another in Huntsville. Called and arranged it to be held for pick on the Sat am. We called at 0700 on Sat am to ensure is was set aside with our name on it before any further effort was made and thankfully someone did there job.
More travel time, effort and frustration. Again due diligence is required

Store is always understaffed and it seems that 90% of the staff that's actually on site has no idea what they're talking about.

Jamie is my nominee for Employee of the Year if there is one.
Truly a pleasure dealing with this store and their staff! I found everything I needed at fair prices! I highly recommend this store.

Ordered kitchen cabinets through David G the kitchen designer. He was very easy to work with and you could tell was very passionate about what he did. One cabinet came in damaged, I emailed David in a panic and he got back to me very fast with multiple options. Would highly recommend going to see him.

Disgusted in Regards to spending 25 minutes to inspect power cord as it had been spliced and it was very tight. Leaving no slack for turning radius. As well the trailer was full to the top with snow. Spent 15 minutes to shovel out that all being said I was charged extra as I was later than the 4 hours that I wanted to use it for. Very disappointed. Last time I will be back. This was a reservation made 5 days earlier.

Drove from Wasaga Beach looking for ceramic tiles in their inventory. An associate in the tile department scanned the code number, took us to the display in another area. Very friendly. An associate (Gwen) working in the display area was very helpful, and pleasant. In and picked 7 cartons of 1x2 ft tiles, paid for them and out in less than 15 mins. Worth the drive to Midland Home Depot.

Terrible experience trying to purchase outdoor furniture. Employee had no idea how to use the computer system to order items (even stated that he refuses to learn the new system). We ordered the items and emphatically stated that we wanted the items delivered to the store NOT our home because we had already experienced issues with delivery of those exact same items. We repeatedly stated to the employee that the items were to be delivered to the store and NOT our home. He assured us that the items were being delivered to the Midland store for us to pick up. This employee either lied to our faces or he is so incompetent that he should not be dealing with the customers/placing orders in store. After paying and leaving the store we were made aware that the items were of course scheduled to be shipped to our home. We went into Home Depot Midland to cancel the delivery to our home and were told that we could not cancel until the item was delivered to our home. We were also told that we could not get a refund until we either accepted delivery and returned it or refused delivery. WE SPECIFICALLYREQUESTED STORE PICK UP NOT HOME DELIVERY, SO WHY ARE WE EXPECTED TO RETURN THE ITEM OR WAIT AROUND TO REFUSE IT!
Even though we did not want the item to be delivered, we waited around on the specified delivery date. The delivery never showed. When we called Home Depot Midland we were told by the manager (Peter) that the truck attempted to deliver but no one was home. That was completely untrue! We were home the entire day and no delivery attempt was ever made (I even reviewed my home security footage and confirmed that no one attempted to deliver anything to my home that day).
It took us several trips into Home Depot and many calls to customer service and the store manager (Peter) to get the order canceled and our money returned. No apologies from the store OR manager. This simple purchase became an unnecessary inconvenience and cost us time and money. We were left to chase down Home Depot to correct thier mistakes and incompetence. I understand that things can go wrong but, no one ever followed up any of our calls. If we had not kept calling for status updates we would have never received a response to our inquiries. Im sure that we would STILL be waiting for our delivery! What ever happend to customer service?

A wide variety of different items all featuring maple. Bought syrup, marinades, tea and apple crisp. Will definitely be back for more.

The staff at the Midland store seem quite knowledgeable and are very helpful. It would be nice if they had more stock and variety, but the store isn't big enough.

Customer service is not exactly their forte. Pretty bad when have to walk half the store to find someone who will page someone else then disappear.

This store is very well run. We have been renovating our cottage for almost a year now and I am very impressed with how we see the same faces every time we visit and they are all very helpful and kind to us. A few weeks back I lost my cell phone in the store and the girl at the returns desk was nice enough to hold it for me and make sure I got it back That says a lot to us as I know that good staff stays in a place they are treated well and good management keeps good staff around. This is why we have bought 90% of our materials here. Thanks for all the help.

I always like THD, i get great advise from very knowledgeable folks but only when you find someone.
These stores are massive and most times you have to wait for a service adviser but you do get good information on your questions or projects which worthwhile.
I have not had a bad experience in store which is great and always good offerings on displays.

I like the friendly staff. I am however VERY disappointed in the quality of their kitchen cabinets. I have had nothing but issues with things literally falling apart. They came assembled we installed them. Front of my cabinet door came off. The corner piece that holds the doors to my corner cabinet has now come apart. Regular use only. The rail for my drawer came offnot to mention the laminating on the door is coming off as well. For 6000.00 dollars they may as well be made of cardboard. Note to COMPANY THOMASVILLE cabinetry are garbage. Not even 3 years old.

My "senior" father went in and asked for the delivery of 10 sheets of dry wall and some flooring for his kitchen. Very heavy stuff. While we were there my father asked and made sure that they would help bring in the Drywall and Flooring and just set them to the side of the house. So, my "senior" father wouldn't have to do it alone. On delivery day the driver told us that "we don't do that" that's all he said and dropped off the stuff in the driveway. If I wasn't there, my very senior father would have done it alone and we made sure to check with a couple of people, that all said that they would help my senior father with placing it in the house. We will never go back to home depot.

This homedepot is really bad with customer service even the managers. My dad a lot ordered 2 x 4 from them and 95% of the wood that came was bad and not straight. We asked them to return in they said we have to take it back to them and have to make another order that will take a few days. I hope everyone sees this so they could be awar of this problem. If it's to me I wouldn't even give them a 1 star they don't deserve it.

Inventory of appliances is non-existent. Everything can only be ordered. Even the store floor specials are only for ordering, go around the corner to a real appliance store.

I was isolating waiting for test after a covid exposure. I called to ask them to keep my small order until I could arrange pickup. The clerk agreed. NOPE THEY SENT IT BACK. Poor customer relations in these times. Not going back.

Not a great experience. We were shopping for tile and found limited selection when we finally found something we could use the so called works scurried away and hid like mice. Even after several requests for help to load the tile and thin set no one showed. If you find yourself shopping there and ask for help don't be surprised if the associate laughs and scurries away or just doesn't show up

Called the store on Sat and was assisted by Gwen. She was so friendly and so helpful. Picked up my item this morning and lucky me Gwen was at the service desk greeted me with a smile and same great service. Home Depot is very lucky to have her. A simple smile and helping others goes a long way, thank you for a Wonderful shopping experience

This store is one of the best Home Depots I've shopped at! Found everything I went in for no issue. Managers Anne and Sheldon are all about top notch customer service. Anne helped me find the correct blinds for my home and ensured they were sized perfectly. Knowledgeable paint dept rep and friendly helpful floor staff. Sheldon went above and beyond helping me with a personal issue that arose when I was in his store. Exemplary. Fast, friendly and efficient service in all departments and at checkout. Great people and a great (organized, well stocked and clean) store.
