So didnt have to walk all over from plumbing to hvac

Ordered 3 new kitchen appliances, chosen from the website but we went in person to order at the store so we could use a status card. Ordering went simply enough, did not need the joke from the white-passing employee regarding the use of a status card. "You know you can only use this if you can speak the language haha. " Absolutely inappropriate and unprofessional.
Our stove and dishwasher were delivered within the time frame we were told. The day before our fridge was supposed to arrive, we received a call pushing it another month away. The following month, (December) this happened again. The day before delivery we were told the fridge was not available and we would now have to wait another two months. At this point we looked online. Found a similar model, and decided to find out if that one was available any quicker. It was. So we cancelled the original fridge order, placed an order for the new fridge. Given a time-line of two weeks for delivery. Great!
That fridge arrived today. It was damaged and we had to refuse it from the delivery guys. Scratches and dents and no protective film on the appliance? Sounds like an open box item. We ordered a brand new fridge. This is just embarrassing at this point.
Why is the Home Depot selling items on their website that aren't actually available. This has been so frustrating and such a disappointment to have to send back the fridge today. Now waiting another two weeks for the replacement. Not a discount in sight for our troubles. I don't recommend buying appliances here.

What i really like about this place is the mix of new Canadians predominantly from India and local Sault folks. You have this super friendly excited about life in Canada mixed with experience and knowledge from first hand experience still there. I would say, this is one of the friendliest Home Depots in Canada at this moment. Keep up the good work HD Team.

The company are racist they don't even write down your status card you have to do it. And everywhere else you go they do it for you.

Absolute terrible customer service. If you're going to close down an aisle and then your staff refuse to get an item from that aisle don't be surprised when you lose business. Never returning again. Get your stuff together.

Watched the STORE MANAGER publicly berate an employee - seems like a big red flag for anyone working there to stay away or get out while they can. I know I'm certainly going to be shopping elsewhere, because there's no reason to support a company that allows their employees to be abused by their employers. Disgusting.

And no, I don't want to email you or tweet at you about it. Fix your disgusting work culture.

It was surprisingly busy at 9am and lack of staff didn't help things. Very helpful people once you were able to get help though.

Purchased flooring for $3000, paid in full. Told us it could be picked up the next day, as it was supposed to be held for us. When we went to pick up our pallet, it had been sold to someone else (even though it was fully paid for). No guarantee there would be another shipment in soon. Poor organization and communication skills.

Im a very frequent shopper at honedepo and for the most part im very satisfied. However i wish the syore would do more to reduce the use of plastic. Especially when they are doing their black frueday sales and thry wrap the pallets with black plastic.this is an absolute waste of plastic even though its bei g recycled its unnecessary. Reduce reduce reduce is always better then recycling

Lumber associate did nothing but complain. Asked to take some lumber down that was too high and he did nothing but complain.

There was lots to chose from and I had a hard time deciding what I wanted haha! Turning into my go to place for many items.

Had everything I went for, but trying to get someone to help was a hard task for myself and others, but like everywhere else I'm sure they are sort staffed and it's understandable

Great staff and we buy all our products here like tools, garbage bags, lumber, electrical/cleaning supplies, paint and BBQ. Good warranty on appliances and tools.

This review is specifically for Ernie, the older gentleman that works in the plumbing department atthe Thunder Bay Home Depot, and is apparantly an expert in all things plumbing. I came in today asking for an adaptor for my basement sink tap so I can attach a garden hose. He looked at me as if I was on crack and said I can assure you they dont make anything like that. I said.oh really, that makes no sense to me as Im sure they have it so you can run hot water outside. He said nope and refused to even entertain the idea.
I decided to go and look some more with the hopes of finding something, and sure enough, I was fortunate enough to find the right part.brought it home and hooked it up.
Shame on you Ernie for being to chauvinistic to help a lady out!

I really can't believe this place. I went to go buy a grill. Knew the one I wanted. Asked 3 people for someone to help me get it. All 3 employees said I will call the department. Not a person showed. Now I notice the store is closing in almost 20 minutes. Probably no one cares since they close soon. I was there an hour before. Decided to come back in the morning when someone would be there to make a sale. Bought the grill the next day. Online said in stock it wasn't. Told June 2 it will be in. June 3 no call still so I call. I can't even get through to speak to someone. I get there are employee shorts but I called three times only to listen to a ringing phone. Customer service is a joke.

VERY disappointed! Will NEVER order another thing from HOME Depot! I ordered a dishwasher March 6th/22 online and was given a delivery date of Mar 16/22. That date came and went and I didn't hear anything about my order from the company. On Mar 29th/22 I called the customer service number given with my order and they took my name and number and said they would call back. I am a patient person - so I waited until April 2nd to call back. Now I can't even get a service rep on the phone. I leave my number in the automated system for a call back. Then I thought I would look for the dishwasher at another furniture place in town. It took 30 seconds to get a representative at Dufresne's furniture to let me know that they did have the exact same model and it was in stock and could be picked up today! Well, 1.5 hours later I have purchased the same dishwasher, brought it home and am installing it. AND I still haven't received a call back from Home Depot! I will be cancelling my original order and WILL NEVER buy anything major from them again!

Staff was knowledgeable, helpful & very forthcoming about option for delivery of my purchase. Great experience. Will definitely not be my only trip to this store!

Sometimes a little difficult to find what you're looking for, and often times items are out of stock. It is quite difficult to find employees for assistance, but when you do, they are quite knowledgeable and very friendly.

Today we dealt with Anantha. An issue was being discussed and he joined in trying to solve it. He went above what he needed to and solved it. We left feeling we had great service. Thank you

Bought the rot for curtains, it came incomplete, not the first time, now I have to either find the receipt, the missing piece or buy a new one, what a waste of time!

I've bin planning on buying new patio doors and some windows for my home but cant even talk to anyone about measurements or what they have or maybe what I need as I was earlier at this store a no one was available to help in this department. Sad service, not enough staff, dont answer phones, sure miss Lowe's, home depot should just close and let the small stores have all the business as they don't seem to care anyway, Thunder bay Ontario Location.

I hate coming here, it's stupidly busy and impossible to find help. The one guy who finally helped me was ok but it took 10 minutes to find anyone. Items aren't always where they should be (zip ties aren't with fasteners
Bath plugs aren't with bathroom stuff.) I would love to boycott this circus but I unfortunately know my wife will drag me in kicking and screaming someday and we'll have the same horrible shopping experience as always and pay an arm and a leg for it.

Ordered some cabinets from home depot on sept. 2 with a pick up date of sept. 23 it is now oct. 26 and still no cabinets inquired today and was told maybe nov. 06.2 months from time of order.really. I can understand some delay from the pandemic but come on? I'm very upset as the installer has moved on to other jobs. NOT HAPPY WITH HOME DEPOT CANADA! It ended up being 9 months from date of order to date i picked them up.

Do not buy appliances from Home Depot. I bought a washing machine and dryer from Home Depot on July 24 2021. The expected delivery date was supposed to be Oct. 13. A couple days before the delivery date I received an email saying that the delivery was delayed until Dec. 3rd. I was frustrated but understood that there is supply chain delays. Dec 3rd came around and I didn't hear from anyone. I called customer service and they had no idea where my appliances were. They were supposed to call me back with an update. After calling them once a day for 5 straight days they finally admitted that they had lost my washer and dryer. They said they would upgrade me to a bigger washer and that it would be "guaranteed" to be delivered on Dec 22. Dec. 22nd came around and I never heard from them. I have now called them 3 times (it's Dec. 28th today) and they have no idea where my appliances are or when they will be delivered. Absolutely terrible service.
