Ordered a new tub, shower surround and cap. The tub came first, delivery man was pleasant, brought the tub in for me and was very friendly. Approximately a week later the surround and cap were delivered. The driver banged on my front door and told me I need to move my vehicle. I did so and he dropped the skid of product in my driveway. I asked him if he was going to help bring it in and he said no, not his job. I asked if I brought in the product could he at least take the skid. He again told me no, it's not his problem. I had to get my neighbor to help me as I'm pregnant. I tried calling Home Depot to see if this was normal protocol and if they could pick up the skid. I sat on hold for 30 minutes before the call disconnected. Not impressed.

I visited Home Depot earlier today to get a Utility pump, As I had very little knowledge about the pump I asked an associate. His name is Ron J and I need to take a moment and appreciate his service. He gave me a brief summary on what it does and also what else I should get for that to work. He went above and beyond to help. I have never had such great customer service experience from any retail store. Thanks Ron for your Service.

Came here to check out their Halloween animatronics with my little guy.he loved them, I have to admit, I thought they were pretty cool myself and very imposing.

Just left Home depot in Brantford, unreal 3 people in the paint department at not one to assist customers, all 3 avoided any contact, We stood at the order here sign with our paint chips, One woman was busy looking up and down one isle, one bald man would walk down another isle then return and other guy was busy cutting plastic off a skid of paint again avoiding contact, after 10 minutes of being ignored its obvious that Home depot doesn't want to sell us 4 gallons of paint, either you are short staffed or over staffed, customers do not matter

Not happy at all with Home Depot. Please hire me to do a better job training your staff, then your own supervisors. Each and every time I rent an equipment whether it’s pick up or drop off I’m wasting half an hour to an hour until my order is complete. I am in business to make money, just like Home Depot. It is not fair to have my time wasted.

Your average Home Depot with knowledgeable staff. All in all like coming here for ideas and house supplies

With DIY to perfect measurements and he cut my full whole house blinds.

Notice he doesn't say to not my department to customers he actually does the job a manager.
He helped my neighbor as well. My neighbor mentioned indian kid helped me when I always get lost in there and go in circles.

The store itself is fine, employees are fine for the most part, but the van and work truck rental service is atrocious.

Booked a rental vehicle 2 weeks ago for today as I needed it to move some large appliances from my house to my in-laws house. Got an email (not even a phone call) this morning (the morning I was supposed to be getting the truck!) notifying me that “due to availability problems” my rental reservation had been cancelled.

This makes no sense to me. Why advertise booking ahead online if you’re just going to rent it out to someone who walks in anyway, and then cancel my 2 week old reservation? Not impressed.

Now I’m stuck trying to scramble around at the last possible minute so I can find a vehicle to transport several large appliances to the opposite side of Brantford.

Guess I’ll have to take my business to Lowe’s, which is a shame because I’d rather support a Canadian company, but not if they’re going to pull those kinds of stunts.

This Home Depot is a big store and has availability to pretty much all products. Rental services are available, but the staff in the rental services are quite slow in service and seem slow in using computers. Staff are friendly and helpful in locating the items.effective customer services and enough car parking.

***EDIT May 29 2023 - Jacob in the plumbing department is the men! Helped me with a warranty MOEN cartridge and the cartridge pulling tool. Excellent service, super knowledgeable. I wanted to be sure I had the correct one, couldn't bring it with me as it's frozen so needed the pulling tool. Showed him a picture, he immediately knew what it was. Can't say enough good stuff. Tried to find his manager to tell him how excellent he was but couldn't find him.

5 years ago (2019). Great service here today. I've been going here a little bit more often recently, simply due to the service I have been experiencing here. Doing some renovations lately so I've been here a lot the past few weeks. I find the staff friendlier than other places.

Jenn from the lumber department is amazing! She helped us with all of our questions and didn’t rush us at all. Was super excited to listen to us and suggest things that made the world of a difference and made the whole project so much easier!

Go here for all my hardware needs. They've always had what I want in stock and the customer service has always been good.

Terrible customer service was told I was not able to use my status card because it was expired I explained it’s my indigenous right and asked for a manager the “head cashier” denied my request and denied for me to use my status card.racists.

Went to buy a screen door, but they didn't have much of a selection, so we left without buying anything.

Hands down best staff! Helpful and knowledgeable. A few times we’ve found product a bit cheaper at other places but we would rather pay a little more and go to our Home Depot where they know us and treat us so well! Again, the best:)

Fantastic place great knowledgeable staff who knows where things are. I certainly don't like the trend of self checkout.

They refused my debit card or cash to pay for my transaction. They demanded I pay only with my credit card that carries a %22 interest rate. I will never step foot in a home depot again. I they don't want my money I don't want to do business with them

I purchased a Ryobi string trimmer and leaf blower kit. The box was damaged but I was advised by an associate that it was just cosmetic damage. When I returned home I discovered that the rechargeable battery was missing from the kit and there was an old crumpled up receipt from 6 months ago. Looks like they were trying to re-sell an incomplete kit. Probably an innocent mistake, but they were not able to make it right. Tried to call several times and was unable to speak to anyone with 45 minutes of waiting, being redirected or dropped.

The worst experience today at this location. My husband and I went to the store like we do each week to purchase 100ft of electrical wire. After asking an associate for help we stood and waited in the aisle for half an hour! I became to fed up with waiting I called the store to then page someone to come to electrical to assist us. We spend thousands at this store, but we won’t be returning. Very poor customer service.

We were extremely happy with services extended by Dan from Kitchen and Bath. He went out of his way assisting us picking up stuff for our washroom renovation. He extended his services till all the items were put in the "will call" and followed it up with a assurance call to us saying everything is safe for collection. He is very
knowledgeable and courteous with his services which made our purchases easy. He did not rush with our time and made us feel very comfortable. Thanks a lot Dan. You are surely an asset to Home Depot. We would also like to mention about cashier Marilyn who patiently helped us cashing out in a timely manner even though there were several items. She was very friendly and courteous.
