Craig and Mark were very helpful. I am disappointed that they are no longer able to cut blinds there, but they were able to mark down the price of some larger blinds since they did not sell the correct size anymore.

Attempted to buy light fixtures that were marked on sale both on the shelf and the display. Apparently the store marked the wrong ones and wouldn’t honor the price. Made me wait 30 minutes for the store manager who then said it was my fault for not checking the barcodes. This seems completely inappropriate as the item was mislabeled wrong in two locations and the shelf was stocked with the wrong item as well.

It is unfortunate that big box stores like this lack the basics of customer service and just common sense. Do better Home Depot, that is embarrassing how your staff conducted themselves throughout the conversation.

Inefficient at answering phones. Leave callers on hold & forget them. Come on people- have a little pride in your job.

One's experience at home depot depends on whom you are in contact with. Example: One teller was indifferent and not too helpful, seemingly just there for a paycheque. While in contrast, a lady was extremely helpful and even folded my receipt.

Today we went to find a faucet wash rubber to get out leaky problem fixed. Hi we had a hard time to find the right one. But luckily the staff Cesar helped us out. He is very familiar at the faucet cartridge and gave us valued advice. Finally we fixed our leaking faucet today. Yay!

Knowledgable staff is very helpful. They will ask you if you need help before you need to ask them

Home depot is one of my favorite place for any of my handy work needs for my home.
The only thing I don't like about them is the online inventory says they have item in stock but when you visit they can't find it.

I just came to the store to find a product that I wasn’t sure that they have it here, Julia saw me while I was trying to find the flooring section and from the first moment she was finding a way to help me, the product was not in the right place and that's when Anho and zack arrived (sorry if I misspelled the name) where together they all looked for a way to help me find the product, scanning and searching and the top of the shelves, until julia found it, they bring it all the way down and put it on a car so I can take it.it was a great teamwork and very pleasant to find people who are willing to help. Thank you for all the support!

My recent visit to Home Depot was a great experience. I needed to buy some tools and soil for my lawn, and I was fortunate to have Sandy and Kristen there to help me. They were both incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and they made sure I had all the details I needed to make informed decisions about my purchases.

Not only did they provide excellent customer service, but they also recommended some products that were on sale, which helped me save some money. It was clear that they cared about my needs and wanted to help me get the best possible value for my money.

Older white lady working the customer service desk at 9am Sunday morning was extremely rude to us and very unhelpful. We wanted to purchase a thermostat with a promotional code from Enbridge. We had the promo code but the she refused to help us. She said lm not a computer person, l can only scan a bar code. When we asked her to find someone to help us, she pointed at the hardware section and then turned her back on us. My wife is Asian, l wonder if she was white would she have been treated differently? We are never shopping here again

I recently purchased a Samsung washer and dryer from Home Depot Canada and have experienced two major issues that have left me extremely dissatisfied with both the product and the customer service provided by both the store and the installation company.

The first issue was a leak on the water valve connecting the washing machine after installation. Despite bringing this to the attention of both the installation company and Home Depot Canada, they refused to fix it at their cost and only provided a gift card as compensation. This left me having to pay for the repairs on my own.

The second issue occurred after fixing the water leak. When using the new dryer for the first time, a major noise was heard while it ran. After contacting Home Depot today, I was told in a very unfriendly way to speak to Samsung directly. After playing the noise to them, Samsung informed me that the unit is defective and needed to be replaced at an unknown time.

The overall experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Both the product and the customer service have not met my expectations. I will not be purchasing any appliances from this company in the future.

Zero stars if I could

Bought a shed from this location, box was a mess but it was the last one so we took it. Two pieces of shed were warped so we couldn't finish building it (4 hours working on it). Asked seasonal manager if he could replace the 2 pieces by taking them out of another box. They didn't have any in stock so they couldn't have helped me but my rating is because of his overall attitude. Not a friendly word, not a 'sorry for inconvenience', just a complete bad defensive attitude and told me to contact the manufacturer. Very sarcastically told me it would take over a month for him to order a new one in and that other stores would do nothing for me. It was just a horrible experience that could have been handled so much better with some understanding and compassion. Instead I just left the store mad and frustrated feeling like I never want to shop there again. On a positive note, the front of store staff were very friendly and actually apologized in advance before the guy came to help me - they knew who I was going to be talking to and said he wouldn't do anything for me. Hmmm tells you something about his attitude and how even staff see him.

We purchased oversized item and we were very pleased with the service that Mark (the Duty Manager) provided. He was very patient and went above and beyond to help disassemble the item in order that it would fit in our vehicle. My husband would like to express that he was greatful for all Mark's help and he was eager to do whatever was needed get the item to our home. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

There is a sweet lady at checkout who is too over eager to help. I know how to use the price scanner, which I told her. Then she grabbed the receipt as I reached for it and folded it in half and gave it to me. Sometimes customers are in a hurry and not in a chatty mood. These self checkout counter gestures slow down and make one irritated. Please coach her on training. Thank you.

This store is ALL self checkout. It is terrible, especially if you are buying lumber or other building supplies. Total waste of time.

One of the worst experiences I have had a with a major retailer. I called the store on Feb. 16th to request a quote on a bathroom renovation. I was asked to come to the store and speak with someone in the flooring department. All I needed was someone to come to my house and give me a quote on what the reno would cost but the salesman started selling me tiles, half an hour later I was asked to provide my address and pay $60.00 (which I did) for someone to come and provide a quote.

I didn't receive any call and nobody showed up for a week and during that week I followed up with the store 4 times. Finally, after a week's follow up and me wanting to cancel the order, someone calls me and without even looking at the pictures, says that it would cost me $9,800 + HST to fix the problem.
I am not sure in which part of the world it would cost $9,800 to retile a stand up shower. Absolutely insane and extremely unprofessional.

Of course, I have now cancelled the order and received a quote from a reputable renovation company after they visited my house and thoroughly checked what needed to be done. The quote is 5 times cheaper including materials and labor with a one year warranty.

Samantha was EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable. She was very pleasant and a dream to work with. I will certainly go out of my way to go back to this location. Keep up the good work team!

This was a very good place to visit. My only gripe is that it was not easy to find someone who could help when it was needed, always seemed to be a case of 'not my department, let's see if there is someone who can help'.

This is a one-stop hardware store conveniently located right on exit of Burloak Dr (if driving on QEW) Home Depot needs no introduction. However this particular store has the most helpful and attentive staff in all departments. The rental store has ample of supplies and be it carpet cleaner, lawn mower or even a moving truck, they never disappoint. Highly recommended store.
