One kitchen installer, I know that seems off, I thought so. Ordered cabinets on April 29th, paid in full. Wrong colour sent. Waited for new cabinets, was told system was down and order took longer. Finally got them in Aug. Now we are Nov 8th, still not a finished kitchen. No one seems to want to take any responsibility and they keep pushing the blame to others. We have not had a stove since August and this seems to bother no one at HD. Been tempted to ask to come in and use their appliances since they have locked my access to mine. In a nutshell, the cabinets are nice yet the whole part that they have you pay for upfront with install and such means nothing. You could be less money grubbing as a whole if you were honest with your customers, and be upfront rather than saying 4-6 weeks on cabinets and 4-6 weeks on install, at that rate it would have taken 3 months at most, we are about to hit 7 months. Another fun fact, the contractor would no show for days then pop in at 5pm and work til 10pm.

DO NOT USE THE SERVICES UNLESS YOU LIKE TO WAIT.

The customer service at Home Depot has been nothing but frustrating, horrendous and painful. I have never seen a company give you such a run around for a product and service you purchase.

A fantastic experience dealing with the rental department. I needed to rent a pair of bolt cutters and the man working there went out his way to be accommodating.

Went looking for a range hood vent and some other parts. None in stock. There were spots where they should have been but alas, nothing but sadness.

Ordered 2 bi-fold doors online. When I went to pick it up, after receiving the confirmation email. That's when the real experience began. I ordeted it on the weekend. For some reason it couldn't be included with a scheduled delivery.

When i showed up. The clerk at the pickup desk was gone for 10-15 minutes. No biggy, sometimes you have stuff to do. When she returned,
my order was supposedly released the day prior. My order was scheduled for pickup on Tuesday. Now, they tried to track my doors down. Eventually, she had a nearby employee go find the doors. Im assuming they just grabbed they from the floor. These doors included the hardware. One package is opened. Including the pouch with the screws and such. One door was slightly damaged on a corner. That's not a huge deal. But, as this is an opened, damaged product, I'm pretty disappointed. I paid full price for a used product.

I plan to install these doors this coming weekend. If any pieces are missing, customer service will be getting a less than complimentary call. And, they can drive the missing pieces out.

My thoughts, they don't care about the product quality as much as you do. If you want something done right, do it yourself. They'll push discount merchandise at full price if you're not diligent.

Total time spent in the store to pickup an order placed on the weekend for pickup on Tuesday after receiving the confirmation earlier that morning, 1 hour.

Edit-Their customer service team will assist you quickly. I resolved an issue within days, that time was my fault. On the road I don't get a lot of free time. As long as they handle these issues before they reach the customer, they wouldn't need to address concerns. Online support 10/10. In store quality/service 6/10. They do have some people who are great. But, like drivers on the roads, they're few and far between.

Came in today from Manitoulin Island for a few things and nobody could help me find them. Went to customer service and someone named Brian helped me find all 3 things in 3 diffrent departments. Made my day extremely easy and felt I needed to go out of my way to express how grateful I was.

Never any staff to help you when I did find someone and asked where everyone is they said the store manager refuses to hire I went to home hardware and was helped right away

I had a consultation in my home for 1pm. This consultant couldn’t be bothered to keep her time that she set.she continued on the day off to push the time back that she was suppose to come. Not only did I cancel the consultation, I took my business elsewhere. So unprofessional!

Definitely won't be coming back to this Home
Depot. The manager Yvette is super rude and likes to yell at you when she knows that she's wrong about something. Only really helpful person there was a guy named Bryan. If you wanna be yelled at about your race or because you're Native American this is the place to go.

This store never has anything in stock, and the staff are never present when you need them. When you find a staff member they aren’t very helpful. Better to go to princess auto.

Had a very bad experience with an online order. I was to go to the store for a refund.
Delt with a shift manager named DEVON, he made sure it was all resolved to my satisfaction. Made the best out of a bad situation.

Great Fast service in the rental department. I rented a trash pump it worked great. There is a protection fee on rentals and it rises when you extended your rental. This information was not shared with me i thought it was one stadard rate. Although a few dollars I'm fine with because the services was fast and rental easy. If your on a need to know bases, please ask detailed questions when renting.

Absolutely pathetic. Over the past 2 days I bought several items from Home Depot all within unrelated departments and ALL OF THE PRODUCTS ARE DEFECTIVE. This includes JB Water Weld, Submersible LED lights, Couplings for PVC, power surge extension chord, plastic cutter and couple more lights. I am not exaggerating when I say each and every single thing I purchased was either broken or defective. When I went to return the items the first time there was no issues and even the customer service associate made a comment like “oh yes, these” like he’s been doing the return on those items all week. After I got the money back I went to see if I could find some better working alternatives. Once I brought the other brands home they all stopped working in a matter of 2 hours. JB water weld couldn’t even hold after stuffing all the crevices in the pvc/couplings and letting it sit for 12 hours while it’s literally marketed on the packaging for PVC as well as the associates saying it should work better. Stay far away from this place, the quality control will obviously be laughable in big box stores but this is pathetic 6/6. Realistically 12/12 items all junk since the ones I got for the exchange broke the same day I got the return. I will never return and advise everyone to give their business elsewhere.

Edit: don’t even bother with the automated reply asking to explain my experience further. Make sure that whenever you replenish your stock that it actually works before you put it on the shelves. I can understand a couple items being defective. No problem. The issue is when EVERYTHING you bought is defective and the replacements you got to substitute those original items are ALSO defective is when I have a major problem. Completely unacceptable.

Jacob helped us find what we were looking for. Super polite and friendly. It's workers like him that will make me go to Home Depot over Lowe's any day.

Once again, Jacob helped us find what we needed in no time. Gotten to the point where I'm happy to see him working because he makes my shopping experience painless.

The store is dog friendly and the staff love seeing and meeting new dogs.

The staff is knowledgeable, nice, and helpful.

Great service, prices and selection of building materials. Every time I go in I'm approached by helpful staff. Matt from the kitchen department was a huge help in renovating our kitchen, planning out the layout and selecting cabinets. He's incredibly knowledgeable and a great friendly guy! Thanks for all your help.

Friendly staffs. Found everything I needed with no problem. Clean store, nothing blocking the isles.
