Last year, I bought a Toro snow blower at Home Depot in Orillia. I went in to ask for a 2-year warranty repair, but they didn't accept it and told me to contact the Toro company directly and fix it. I had a hard time.

Ordered on line and needed to do a follow up with a mistake in my order. Home depot responded perfectly with correction and order received as planed.

The Pro Shop is useless. Waiting for bathroom reno but no one there seems to know what is going on. They should not be offering that service. No one ever answers the phone so I dont know if the store has closed down or not. Probably the worst home depot I have ever dealt with.

The Team Heather, Breanna, Dave, Adam, Vipul make your experience great. Next time if you are in this location keep and eye out for one of them. They are the ones going above and beyond for their customers. These individuals took the time to understand the needs of their customers and get to know them, they bring immense value to this organization. I have nothing but the greatest thanks for them. The staff are great and willing to help when you ask them questions. As a trade professional, I also really appreciate not being badgered after I decline an offer for help when I’m in the store grabbing what I need. Thank you staff at Orillia Home Depot.

I used to like this store. I bought tons of tools here. Went in and bought some wood. Then went to find stain. The section is so disorganized I couldn't find the stain I needed. I found an employee stocking a shelf and asked for some help. He came over pretty quickly but on the way to the stain isle, another employee stops him and asks for help. The guy ended up completely disregarding me and went to help his coworker and other customer. This is garbage. I'm a paying customer too and was cast aside. I then went up to another employee who was hanging out leaning on an isle. I asked him for help finding the stain. He then took me to a computer where it told him the isle number where the stain is. That was the extent of my help from TWO employees. I guess I'm going to home hardware from now on.

Cleanest public washrooms I have ever seen.whichever staff member is doing washroom clean-up should get a bonus or something, cause I don't usually leave reviews but this was worth noting. Also, staff were super helpful and very friendly, not sure why there were so many complaints in the other reviews

Returns were quick people at the return desk. We’re happy to give my son a sticker and funky handshakes. Everything was really good went right back in and had a really good shopping experience.

Most of the staff is quite professional, however I did have an awful experience in tool rentals.incredibly rude staff that day.

I was at Home Depot yesterday May 24th, upon entering I noticed at the service desk 5 employees standing around? A staff meeting maybe? I knew what I needed, picked it up and thought I’d check out at the service desk, as I had done in the past many times. I was sent off to the cashiers. I proceed and not one was open, the only option was self check out …… hmmmm I thought to myself, no I don’t work here I want the human touch and go to a cashier. I was than flagged over to a nice young lady at the self checkout. I mentioned they would be working they’re way out of a job. Upon leaving I walked past the service desk once again to see 5 employees doing absolutely nothing! Now I remember why I shop mostly at Home Hardware, they always have lots of staff ready, willing and able. Again I do not work at Home Depot & I prefer not to self checkout!

I don't understand the need to show a drivers license when returning a product. I have the proper bill and also my credit card used for the transaction. So I ask the question, why not ask for your driver's license when using a credit card?
Oh, and pay for more employees at the checkout counter.

Un fortunately I rent a digger from them
They didn’t turn it on before delivering it to me and o hired some one to work on it in my back yard for 2 hours
On returning it back it was the worst experience I faced in my life the guy was very aggressive with me and he was very ruff he h
Yale’s on me many times and during releasing it from my Truck he ordered me to lay down to reales the hook I told him I have something worng in my knees he didn’t care I obeyed him although I’m 70 years old and I was crying loudly from the pain he helped me to stand again and I’m still in great pain now
And he tried to turn the machine on but in vain
It was very week and bad during working no maintenance done and they refused to close the contract till they call a technician
And see the report it takes like 2 and half hour of dissection but in vain they want me to bear their neglecting thire machines and rude way with customer so don’t yay to rent from them I forget to tell that this guy was insisting to charge me $200 for cleaning although it was cleaning after long negotiations he called one manager and toled him it’s is cleaned enough so don’t charge him it was very bad experience
