Huntsville homedepot phone system completely sucks, got passed around 5 times. Finally got a Susan S, she was great to deal with! They need more employees like her

Each visit recently has been positive. The staff have been helpful and pleasant. Plus most times we have found what we were shopping for.

The staff is awesome every time we go there. My only complaint is the equipment rental - the new policy of a $1500 deposit and the inability to reserve is problematic.

It's huge. It's got everything you could possibly need for your home. But be ready for a lot of walking to cover the distance from one part of the store to another. They still have real local people that are paid to check out your purchases so I still go there.

No staff around. All check outs self checkout. If u pay cash u have to wait till the one staff is not busy

Excellent service had an issue with my sump pump and they grabbed one for me and had it at the counter after closing tim (5mins) but thank you Manager Ryan

Ordered 16 bags concrete order was ready to go and put on skid as requested and then loaded on back of pickup just awesome service thanks Steve

Very helpful experience this time, I don't generally have good luck with employees, but my last experience I was able to get help almost right away, and due to not having exactly what I needed for chain, I was able to get the next size up for the same price.

My elderly father called your store this week to request an order of 10-12 pieces of lumber to build a picnic table. Was told "we don't do that anymore due to staffing issues". Well, he tried to do it himself today and had a heart attack in your store while 5-6 female employees stood around watching us. Unable to fill an order but quick to tell him he couldn't sit on the products! Pathetic service forcing elderly people to move their own heavy items, while at least six employees are standing around watching us check ourselves out. But at least we got $50 off a $1200 order. Disgusting service from a billion dollar company. We will be consulting a lawyer regarding this obvious negligence. WILL NEVER BE BACK.

Clean store and well stocked. We were able to find what we looking for. Staff are friendly too. Especially the service desk. Mirella was able to help us out and point us in, the right direction for our project. Lovely lady, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Pass on our thanks to her!

The problem with rating HD is that some days they are a 5 and other days they are a 1. Two trips ago to HD they called back because they were not sure if I paid, yet they gave me a receipt. Other days, store personnel help you find stuff and mark down opened merchandise. So, I rated them down the middle.

Does not matter but every time I go in they never have what I need.
I understand that replenishing stock has become an issue, but seriously how many deburring tools do you actually sell to have no stock? I don't shop much at Home Depot because gas is expensive, it's a 1/2hr drive just to get there to find out you don't have what I need. This isn't the first time it happened. Staff did inform me that I could order it on line. Well if I can, shouldn't the store be able too?

It’s hard to believe that a store with this many staff can collectively be this unhelpful… every … single… time.

Staff so helpful lady was able to order us what we needed plus she directed us to the correct isles for our other needs thank you to your courteous and knowledgeable staff

Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. They have pretty much everything you need for your inside or outside project.

Buy Appliances Elsewhere- Home Depot has a No-Return Policy. If Home Depot sells you an appliance that is broken, you cannot return it. You will not be refunded or discounted. You will also never be told about this policy while buying the item or see a sign in the appliance section describing the policy.

I have to update my review as it wont let me post a secondary for a different department.
Ordered paint and supplied colours and explained what i was painting. I left the order with the paint supervisor as it was getting close to closing.
I went to pick up my order the next day and the order had not been completed. Waited patiently for almost an hour waiting and only when it was almost done while reading the paint label did I realize they were selling me the wrong paint. The worker called the duty manager to sort things out. They were unable to help then but I was told they would follow-up with the paint supervisor and have him contact the manufacturer to see what was suitable for my needs have the new paint mixed and contact me when ready. They never called and never offered any solution. Very disappointing i used to love shopping here but waisted trips and time in the store. I guess when it comes to paint i need to shop where paint professionals work. Lesson learned.

Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Large and well laid out store. Fairly easy to find everything you are looking for.

I did have a bit of attitude from a younger sales associate which was unfortunate. Overall the staff are generally very helpful and super great.

Expensive, over price, hidden charges but convenience is a key good supply for the demand. Only real complaint would be the inflation rate but everybody knows.buy low, sell high is the way of the road!

Love Home Depot but hard to get any assistance most of the time. Needed help with lumber, and after waiting nearly 20 minutes, I finally found someone who helped me, albeit reluctantly.

Clean washrooms. Just wondered why the middle of 3 sinks was open and the outside sinks were closed. Closing the middle and opening the ends would be more beneficial as there would not be a line up and everyone using one sink would make for a safer experience.

Ask for help to load some plywood on the dolly and everyone said to me that I should ask at the front desk and when I went to the front desk everyone ignored me. These are not very helpful people customer service is not in their vocabulary

I had a delivery that was to come on Saturday, I waited all day.missed a friends special event because I was waiting.no phone call saying that the delivery was delayed due to illness.nice job.phone call would have been nice about the delay of 2 days

No one on the floor to assist customers? ONE cashier, monitoring the fast lane area (no other cashiers at the regular stations).
All this at approx 10: 00 AM, Sunday.
I'm not 100% sure, but if I was the owner, I'd be having a heart-to-heart with the manager of the shift.
Wait a minute-not enough staff means higher profit margins for the ownership.hmmm.

This store is a mess and you would think it would be easy to spot of employee with their orange aprons, that is if they had any employees in their employ. One person on cash and I have to check myself out? No discount for doing the work for you? Products absolutely everywhere. Coporate needs to send a fixer there.

Was in and out quickly early Saturday morning. Found what I needed and git out before I spent more money!

There were no of the flat top carts for the public. They were all being used by staff to temporarily store material obstructing many aisles.

Huntsville location had the best selection of tools in stock! Big kid in a candy store. Unfortunetly I was here for a toilet flapper and light switch cover plate. They had it all and friendly staff.

I have been trying to talk to someone at this store all afternoon.been calling and waiting for someone anyone to pick up the phone.
It’s quite the turn off.if I lived in Huntsville I’d drive there but I don’t.

I paid for a delivery to Novar for a product just under $900 & NO ONE came to the front door other wise they would have seen this note I left up for my daughter to answer the door for them to put it in my garage.

No One knocked on the door or rang the door bell. The delivery was *left in my driveway in plan eyesight for anyone to steal while I was at work! *

Thank God for my amazing Neighbor down the road knocked on my door for my daughter when they saw it just laying in the middle of my driveway & they put it in my garage for my daughter because it was way to heavy for her to move on her own.

I'm not impressed Home Depot, you need to train your delivery crew to do better for drop offs!

ZERO STARS ISN'T AVAILABLE - They "LOST" a 412lb package in shipment. What I believe happened is they didn't properly accept the package when it arrived to their store but you can't call in directly to a store and talk with anyone in customer service or management so it will remain a mystery. We could have built our own gazebo and have been using it in the time it took us to find out they "LOST" it in transit from manufacturer to store. One MONTH waiting for a gazebo that is now out of stock and can not be repurchased. Thanks for the horrible service.

Renovating Kitchen. Ordered 3 appliances in MARCH, three months in advance. Allowed me to select delivery in early May.

PAYMENET WAS TAKEN SAME DAY AS ORDERED, not when actually shipped, as with most Online Companies.

Received NUMEROUS conflicting calls & emails changing dates from mid May to late July.
Given conflicting information: "will only be shipped as entire package", then "Range would be shipped May 11, rest later in the summer".
May 17 called about ETA; Range delivery date changed to September.
Cancelled entire order.

Supply is clearly an issue. Why process payment MONTHS in advance? Deposit would be better option. Why allow consumer to pick a delivery date, when clearly no hope? Why all the conflicting information? Does anyone truly know what is going on here?

Will never order from Home Depot again.

EDIT - HD asked me to contact them about this and didn't respond. More evidence that it's just optics.

Rude on the phone about curbside pickup, so I cancelled the rest of my order.

The website says they have 20+ available items in stock but it won't let me pick it up ("ship to store" only).

Asked to confirm if anything other products of that type are in stock in store. Other website products have the same issue.

The agent aggressively suggested I call the 800 number for my website questions.

After clarifying I was asking what products I could purchase today from their location, I was again directed to talk to the 800 number in an exasperated tone. "We don't have time to tell you what's in stock"

This doesn't make any sense and they were rude about it.

The entire interaction was less than 30 seconds because the agent had no interest in providing help.

Called Home Hardware and they were lovely.

Hi. Everyone! This store in Huntsville Ontario has the best employees! I ordered a Bbq on line for my son's wedding.after it didn't come and was delivered 6hours away to a different address.called Home Depot.ca and the store. The awesome work crew from The home Depot in Huntsville and a great guy from Home Depot Waterloo Ontario.made sure my son's wedding reception was going to happen. I don't really know there they found me one. As the one I ordered is only SOLD on line. But to my surprise I got the one I ordered! Made my year! And my son's wedding reception happen! Thanks for all your help! You guys are Awesome!

Better get there early if you want to rent equipment as it is serviced in mornings only. Call ahead. Short staffed in Covid era.

Lowered the rating as i noticed a number of staff and shopers without masks and not physical distancing in the lumber area.

Cannot get information on the phone. You get re-directed to different departments and no one answers. I was nine minutes trying to speak to someone and finally hung up. Obviously under staffed store.

These guys were awesome. Helped us fix our plumbing issue at the cottage and gave my 7 year old his own tape measure. He will never forget it

Helpful staff and respectful of social distancing! Got what I needed and had a laugh with the staff!

Bought some annuals. They hadn't been cared for. Needed water, sitting, growing together and in bad shape. Got them anyway, but really should have been discounted.

I asked for something to be brought down from high storage.and they did it! It was waiting for me when I arrived! Great job guys!

Lots of variety have everything one would need for home construction/Reno. Noticed alot of items made in China that doesn't sit well.

Went through the obligatory line up at the social distance. Had great help in the plumbing department and bought a new style tap for a washing machine. Easy to install just as the man promised. Will use this new system as required.

The cashiers are great, the staff on the floor helping are completely useless

Wow so I guess tonight is that last time I set foot in this store. After being a long time customer I've had it with the way I have been treated in the store.

Heated by a staff member rudely saying I hope you don't want any more totes from the rack. I don't have time for you and don't know when I can get to it.

I spend hundreds of dollars a week and thousands for my customers there.

Last year was over 50k spent there. Well I guess that money will go else where I'm done.

Fire the guy and I'll come back but not till then

Went in store to return an online order that was not fulfilled and I found it for almost $50 cheaper somewhere else, the customer service counter at this store returned my item and I got my money back. Only to charged on my credit card again a few days later - after checking my account found that the order was never actually cancelled at all and required many hours on hold with Home Depot customer service to rectify.

Always a painful experience. Staff are never available when you need help and on top of you when you don't. What should have been a 10 minute visit turned into, as always, an hour and a half. Sigh.

The people working here are very personable and accommodating. Huge shout out to Mark who helped me just after closing, but still while customers were checking out. He heard my plea for a specific need and had me follow him into the store, let other workers it was for a very quick need, and took me straight to what I needed!

It's Home Depot, if they don't have what you need then you're probably doing it wrong.
They always have useful sales and often have superb prices on quality Brand-name tools.
And obviously a good place to get a house load of drywall or all the nonsense you'll need for that deck you haven't finished off yet.

Home Depot nothing special but I do find the more North you go from the Toronto the more helpful the staff is and friendlier

Got all of our supplies to renovate my flooded out kitchen & livingroom. I really liked the one on one personal service when we planned out the new kitchen & livingroom.
