I would like to say thank you to Joe and Mark at the Home Depot at the Argentia location. I was having problems opening my front door lock and they took the time in their busy morning to fix my door lock. They were kind, caring and very patient and kept my mind off the difficult day ahead of me. I really appreciated your help today Joe and Mark. You are Amazing hard working gentlemen. 7 employees were very helpful today between 11AM and 1PM. We were sorting through deck boards but there weren't enough for our needs. A full pallet was two levels up. An employee (1) helped us by sending someone (2) to cleanup area to allow the forklift (3) person through and into the aisle. The truck rental person (4) was very speedy in proccessing our request. Cashier for wood (5) was quick and sent another employee (6) to help load rental. When we were done with van we were processed out (7) politely and quickly. All in all the lady operating the forklift gets 5*. Great job everyone.

Everybody smiles and wants to help sell something to me at HD.great. Today at 8: 15 am someone stole my wallet out of my buggy. Nobody was interested in helping me find it. I wrote my name and number and looked high and low to see if whoever took it at least discarded the wallet with government ID, etc.nothing.not even interested in looking at security camera footage.
Totally disappointed.

It’s an excellent place to go for shopping regarding anything.
Professional staff and everything we were looking was available. Frank greeted us himself and guided us to Shikha for further assistance and help finding out.
Shikha did marvellous job and also shared with us details of home services provided by Home Depot.
It was our first experience in this branch of Home-depot, in real it made our day.

Like any big box stores, the customer service is lacking. It's hard to find people on the floor to ask questions. If one is available, then there are 20 people lined up to speak to him/her. Very frustrating, but they have a huge variety and products are great.

I’ve been to several Home Depot’s both in the US and Canada and the customer service received at the Tool Rental by Ron was by far the best.   He was personable, helpful and went above the call of duty to provide above 5 star service.   I would love to shop at this store again as it made a huge difference on a customer service level.   I highly recommend this store and if you go to the tool rental department be sure to ask for Ron.   Workers like him deserve lots of recognition through promotion & raise.   I don't really write reviews but I wanted to take time out to give credit where it's due.

We got a rental van from here. They were waiting for our vehicle to be returned.luckily they were good at offering a different one in a timely manner. Be ware that they do charge $500 on your credit card and it may take a few days for the return to process though.

I bought a fridge from this Home Depot and Suresh Gadhvi who's an Appliance specialist here was extremely helpful and nice, he also helped me get a $150 discount on the fridge. If you're buying any type of appliance from this Home Depot, I would highly recommend taking Suresh' s help.

We arrived at Home Depot Argentina early in the morning before going to work. Then we discovered that the home appliances team comes at 8: 30am!
However, when we met Sales Person LXG2961 from another department and explained to her our need, she understood our urgency and did all her best to help in everyway. My wife and I were very impressed. She exceeded our expectations by providing all the assistant required.
I do not remember her name but that is the name code shown on the receipt. If every business has a person like her, it will sure be successful. THANK YOU LXG2961 for all your help. Very much appreciated.

Went there twice today. The section/floor staff were readily available and friendly both times.as were the cashiers.
However, on the second visit, we were told that a manager was required to answer our question. The staff person tried multiple times to locate/contact one, but none of them responded. We felt for her in her frustration.and we ended up just leaving. 4 stars only, today.

Great customer service. I went in for lightbulbs and of course got myself bogged down with carrying too many other items I found as well. I approached an associate to ask a question and the first thing she did last night was retrieve a shopping cart for me! Wow what service! I interacted with another great associate in seasonal/gardening who was also very helpful. My experience at the self check out also great support to reduce the Boston fern I purchased! Argentia and winston Churchill location you rock! I will be very happy to return feeling very comfortable that it was easy to find knowledgeable, courteous associates! If any of these great people are your new seasonal hires, great job!

Home Depot at argentia road mississauga. I just went to rent tools in your tool rental department. I met employee named Raj. He had no knowledge about rental process, the system kept crashing and he blamed my credit ratings for the system crashing. Then he snatched the my credit card from my hand and read all security information. I feel this is breach of my personal data. Hope home depot has security controls in place for better customer service.

Today only garden center was open to the public, lots plants, flowers, hanging baskets are cheap price. Even soil, mulch garden ornaments, stones are on sale. Go and grab this deal.

Please be aware of this Home Depot or rather all home depot. They are scamming people. I ordered a Ryobi Reciprocating Saw online for pick up at the curve side. When I ordered online it said they have 72 in stocks but, what I received was a a broken saw returned by someone else. I wonder what are those 72 in stocks are for, and I wonder if they think customers are dumb enough to not know a open box product. It's my fault for choosing Home Depot instead of Lowes to shop.

I cannot say enough about the AMAZING customer service I received from Jasmine and the customer service team of this Home Depot location. I had ordered a gift for my husband's birthday that was being shipped from Calgary. Due to the pandemic it was taken longer then expected to arrive at the store for pickup. This store and specifically Jasmine went above and beyond to help me pull off my birthday surprise. I cannot thank them enough. I can't wait until I can go back to shopping in store at Home Depot but until then I know that this team will do their best to make curbside pickup a breeze. Thank you! (By the way he loved his BBQ).

Go to any Home Depot but this one for curb side pick up. I got an email saying it was ready for pick up and almost two hours waiting and nothing. No line up no staff no reason for it to be that long. Even the number posted on their sign doesn’t get answered.

While it is understandable that Covid restrictions will create less than favorable circumstances in regards to curbside pickup, the experience I had today at the Winston Churchill location was the absolute worst. I was waiting for 45 minutes. When I arrived it appeared as if there was only ONE employee bringing out purchases and there were at least 20 cars waiting! After about 20 min a few more surfaced and they weren't much quicker.

Part of the problem aside from lack of staff was the amount of time these people spend scrutinizing every persons ID. The young man who brought out my order behaved as if he couldn't read. He stood there staring at my drivers license. I don't know what on earth was the matter with him. All he needed to do was look at my name. It's not as if anyone else knew that I was buying a couple of plastic buckets worth $20.

I will NEVER again do online shopping with Home Depot. You people need to wake up because you don't have a monopoly on the hardware business.

So staff is nice and placing the order online was easy but then it's down hill from there. Took them a couple days to send a ready email. When I went there, they had a sign saying that I will have to wait 30 minutes to an hour for my order to come out, I had to wait for 45 minutes. Like come on guys. The curbside parking spots were not even full. Head office can't actually belive this is the best these guys can do. I can go to a Best buy and have them pull out a 85 inch tv that requires 2 ppl and carefull handling in about 10 minutes. Now I don't expect the same time from Home Depot but they are fools to think that 30 min to 1 hour is the best they can do. Funny enough, every lockdown they are get worse.

Horrible customer service. Ordered online. Took 5 days to fill the order. I came in the morning when order was ready but they said that it will be over 40 minutes to get the order. So I asked if I can pause the pick up and come in the afternoon to pick up as I had an appointment. They said no problem they will pause on their end. Came in the afternoon and after waiting for 20 minutes they told me the order had been canceled because I wasn’t there in the morning.

A year into Covid-19 protocols and they still haven't figured it out. My Home Depot experience:

Order Curbside Pickup.
Half the order needs to be shipped but it wasn't made clear to me since the parts I ordered specifically said they were in stock.but I figured what the hell.
After two days still no word on when items are being shipped or a communication saying come pick my stuff up.
Try to cancel the order. Pick up order cancels fine. Shipped order says it will cancel unless the order is in transit. I receive an email 8 hours later confirming the in store order is canceled.
Three days after that I receive an email stating that the shipped order is in transit.
I call customer service and they assure me I can just return the items to the store for a full refund including the shipping fee. Thanks for wasting my time because you insisted on shipping a canceled order I guess?
I call the store and it turns out I cant return the shipment yet because Ontario is shut down.
Here's an idea, do what almost every other company that has ships goods to their customers.email me a shipping label and give me my money back.

Do yourself a favour. Rona and Canadian Tire has a much better curbside pickup program. Almost like it wasn't an afterthought. I had the items ordered, picked up and installed before I even received the cancelation email from home depot. Brutal.

This experience isn't Home Depot online. I ordered curbside from this specific store.

Amazing staff. There was a lady by the name of Maria who works at windows. She was helping me find a specific window I saw they had in stock at this location. Though she didn’t need to, she went out of her way and asked 4-5 colleagues for help alongside walking through the entire store to look for it. Though I eventually settled on a different window, she was friendly and courteous throughout the entire time. Excellent customer service and very nice people here.

Sales personnel in this location do not know what they are selling. Essentially, the older guys, who knew everything are gone and replaced with (lower paid?) associates who never used the tools or done renovations themselves. They are unable to recommend proper products, help with product questions and so on. I went to HD not only to purchase something, but also to ask what I may need in one or another case. Now I may as well purchase from Amazon instead.

I 1m impressed with the enthusiasm of people that are GLA TO WORK THERE.
I know a few Home Depots, but this one surprised me with this positive vibe.

Horrible customer service. I was ignored for over 15 minutes then told she didn't know the price and I had to carry large tiles to the cash to determine the price. After I explained I was the customer I was told she would get someone else to help me. A other person came over to tell me she was busy and would come back. Is this how you treat customers.

Manuel is hands down the best home improvement employee I've ever had the pleasure to meet. He was incredibly knowledgable, customer service off the charts, just wow. He walked me around the entire store, twice, was articulate, able to understand everything thrown at him without flinching and was able to help out on the fly while on the move, multi tasking at it's finest.

Manuel is a problem solving genius and went far, far beyond anything I ever expected. He saved me a ton of time, money and frustration after chasing my tail dealing with and issue for two days through other channels. Thank you so very much. Home Depot - please take a page out of his book, not everyone can be a Manuel but it's something to shoot for. Please give him a raise (he would not accept lunch, a coffee or anything beyond a thank you)!

The couple of times I've been here, I've actually had a nice experience. The first time I went to the garden section and a very nice blonde girl helped my sister and I get some stuff for our garden and she cashed us out quickly, great attitude and customer service skills too! Second time, I went with my mom for a return and then a purchase. The lady who helped us (older, dark skin) had a "in training" button, yet she helped us like a total expert. The transactions were flawless and fast, hassle-free, and once again, her customer service was 5 star rated! Thank you ladies (and rest of the staff) for giving us customers a pleasant experience. It'll be nice to go back to your location for our next house/garden needs! (:

Received online order ready for pickup, and there was nothing in store they offered refund.
And if that wasn’t enough, the refund never came.this is unbelievable nowadays u really need to check for the refund credit. Then the manager processed over phone saying it was not submitted by the clerk, won’t go again at this location. #disappointed

Good experience however strongly recommending implementing incentive program to give back to your customers. Look after your customers. Remember in this day and age customers have plenty of choices. The question is why should customers shop at the home depot instead of other competitors?

Treated like a second rate citizen today
I own a construction company and was driving around Ontario buying up all their Samsung micro range hoods
Got here after calling from another store.said there was 10
Got here and they said they had none. I walked the isles and found them in overstock.took an hour and a half by a lazy large Indian fellow to get them down.talked to pat the manager as I was supposed to get 15% off as all the stores were doing the same.found him.and he asked if I was f****ing special. I was taken aback.not expecting this.thought he was joking.
. He was not.told me nobody gets a deal take them if you want but no contractor is special.use your card and get your points!
Wow just wow. 25 years in the business and never spoken to like this from a manager.
I drove a long way.kind of put my whole afternoon off.spend half my life in these stores.spending money.to be treated like this was an insult.

Awesome customer focused.
This branch is amazing. I see all the staff are truly focused on providing good service. I ordered whole bunch of stuff for my deck and Amanda from deck pro was super knowledgeable and made sure I get everything I need. There were some issues with the delivery and the materials. But the manage Pat made sure all of them are addressed to my satisfaction. It was very nice working with him.
During extra lumber pickup Shriya was super helpful. She helped us getting the right lumber, helped us start to end to make sure we get right product.
Overall it's a great experience and I will continue to shop here.
