I do not have a good experience with van rentals, I went to the store personally to ask about the policies related to van rentals, I asked TWICE and I have been told that it is on “ first come first serve basis” rental. I called one day prior to ask if there are small vans available and I was being told that they will be, we went in the morning, at 6: 30 to reserve the place in line if there are more people interested in renting small van, we were the first to be attended just to be told that the van that we are interested is reserved… but there was no reservation available at this location (it was at the end of April) so I am not certain how it was even possible; I was really dissatisfied with how that works- no reservation and then at the counter I was being told that the van is reserved… Very disappointed

I ordered my materials at 11: 20 am. Next morning, at 9, I got my materials delivered. I understand express delivery, but never thought this fast. Kudus to all specially the group of David French. Materials are delivered in good shape. Satisfied. Only thing is: there shoud've been a carry-in button on the order page to pay extra charge for carrying in.

Quite a clean store, with helpful and fairly knowledgeable employee base who were able to assist with Customer enquiries on multiple different occasions (even if the wait was less than ideal occasionally)

I visited this location on Sunday. It was a research project for blinds - we need to dress 11 windows. I found 3 items of interest then we went to find a customer service person in the blinds dept. They took our name, number & email & I have yet to hear from anyone. Now my confusion also lay in the fact that we were in the store yet no one attempted to set a date/time with us for a visit. It was just repeated that someone would get back to us.

I then called 2 times after that & was moved around from phone to phone, hung up on, left on hold where I ultimately got disconnected & I got so tired of waiting on a few occasions that I hung up.

My husband called today & the same: transferred 7 times & didn't get connected to anyone.

This is deplorable service - clearly our money isn't good enough for Home Depot. I can't imagine what would happen if someone actually answered the phone to help: when would they come do the service & install? Would we be chasing them for years just to have blinds installed in our home?

I would suggest everyone take their business elsewhere.

Customers should not have to ask for assistance 3 times. 3 different associates said they will call someone else to help. We waited almost 40 minutes in the outdoor section in the heat and still no one showed. Shop at a different home depot

This visit was but disappointing. The prices were astronomical. The store does not have people guide or suggest and for a layman like me, it's an ordeal.

While patiently waiting for a key to be cut, store clerk gave and more than half an hour seminar about a tool product. Then when its was my turn he found out that he dose not have a key in-stock.

Overall decent store, friendly and helpful staff. Some parts of the store is a little messy and unorganized. Other than that, it's your typical home depot.

Can't get help on store floor. Seems To be a shortage of store personnel. Many times, in your store I'm helped by customers. I request assistance, but no one shows up. Sorry to say, but this is my experience at the home depot store that I go to.

Like many before me, I have been disappointed by this Morningside/Shepard East HomeDepot; multiple times, their inventory lacks and their customer service is horrendous. From now on I’m going to completely ignore their presence, going there is a complete waste of time.

Went here to do return and i went to the line for return as there is a sign saying line up here for return.

Lady on the door who claims to be the manager said i need to line up on the same line as the entrance line up.

Went to ask for an explanation why there is a sign saying line up here for return and she gave me an answer that didn’t make any sense.

And note that when i was on the line it was not only me that was confused with the line situation.

Hope that lady is not really the manager as she was not competent enough to run this store. As they are the one who put up the sign and people try to follow directions that they instructed and them self not follow this instructions.

She claim that she needs to count the people getting inside the store. I can’t accept this explanation as the line leads to the same door and she is standing right at the door to count anyway.

This location has it all and it’s somewhat differs in item selection so chances are if it’s not available at other locations your best bet would be here

I'm waiting days on curbside pickup just for 3 buckets, literally 3 buckets and these people can't get me order ready, don't even bother calling in no one will answer. Utterly garbage service all around.

I was completely disappointed with my recent online order from Home Depot Morningside Scarborough location. I purchased both a small and large deck box. Both were delivered damaged! The smaller one had a six inch hole in one of the corners. The larger unit looked like it was attacked by animals. It was put together with tape. I can't believe both the store and the delivery company would ship items to a customer in this manner. My rating is 0 ZERO! Looks like Home Depot was only interested in making a sale.

A hardware super store. You can get almost anything hardware here.
Covid restrictions apply. They have have hand sanitizers available where it needed. It's not very crowded.
Sometimes its difficult to find someone to help you. But if you find one, all are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Our excitement turned into a nightmare. While assembling, the box contains 8 pcs of the left corner support bar, instead of 4 pcs each right and left. We have called Hampton Bay customer service and redirect the situation to home depot instead. Last night, we went to 3 branches and no one was able to help us. There was a display on the floor and the manager, Mr. JR would not allow us to exchange the parts nor replace them with a new one. His recommendation was to wait till August or to come to the home depot at 6 am in the morning and wait for the cargo truck, or put a hole in the post and make it as a DIY project. Instead of excitement we felt humiliated begging for something that we must be enjoying. This $ 800+ piece of gazebo turned out to be one of the worst decisions we made in purchasing something from home depot. No one had helped us. I can't imagine summer and this will be a conversational piece in our backyard: (It will be a constant reminder to us how we FAILED as a customer: (

Clear aisles and organized store for the most part. Although nearly impossible to get service during your trip. That's what happens when you mainly hire teenagers and inexperienced minimum wage workers unfortunately.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. What a horrible experience it is coming to this store. I’m never ever returning here. I’d rather drive multiple hours to any other store than come here. I called to ask about the expected pickup time because an employee outside advised me to call and ask before I place my order but before I could even say any part of the question I was told “No! No! No! You cannot pay here! ”. (I called because another bad thing about these online orders is that they don’t say an estimated time to be ready any where). This rude lady did not have any sense of customer service or politeness to her at all, there’s no way she could know what I’m asking yet she’s already yelling no at me over the phone. I wish I got her name because I’ve been here before and had to deal with a similar experience at the beginning of the pandemic where some employee was outside yelling at people during the last lockdown. So I went ahead with the order because I needed it and if I had to wait until the next day I would even though this rude lady told me “It usually takes 3-4hours to process and it’s 4 o’clock so what do you think”. 1 hour later, it was ready. Came to pick it up and 1/3 items were wrong (and I ordered 4 but you guys only had 3). I tell the old white guy with glasses at the door only for him to rude as well about it. I’m trying to show him the items and he’s not even looking but he’s telling me “I can’t look at it when you’re holding the bag” even though I’m holding the item outside of the bag. Then he rudely tells me to park in front and wait for him. It seems like no one here besides the young college student employees are nice. Everyone else is rude. During a time like this, these people should be trying to be extra nice to people trying to be safe and buy necessary items. I want to warn everyone else before they expect anything but rudeness from this store.

I’m leaving a 5 Because of Edward M. @ the Morningside location. He was so extremely helpful, probably the best customer service I have every had anywhere. I was lucky enough to have had him answer the phone. He treated me like I was important and really appreciated my business. He had many suggestions that helped me move forward with my reno. His friendliness and amazing helpful attitude felt genuine and he even called the next day to make sure I received my order and all went as planned.

Tried to order 3 boxes of tiles that are in stock for curbside pickup.
But they are only available for delivery with a $25 charge.
Funny, Lowes has similar tiles available for curbside.
Guess HD just wants/needs extra revenue.
Even tried customer service, but store referred me to online help, and online help said delivery only.
Sorry, they're definitely not getting $25 to deliver 3 boxes of tlies.

I really do not understand the part where you order curbside pick up in the morning and they cannot process it that day, call customer service and no one picks up. I understand that it's busy with curbside but unable to process an order thats a hose for $12 i find that hard to believe. I shopped at your competitor (RONA) for the same item and they processed the order in 2hrs. Pretty disappointing

Idk what kind of speed these Home depot employees are on but I always get my curb side orders ready in an hour.

NO OTHER home depot does that. I do repairs all across the GTA and they all take 2-3 hours minimum

This one by my home is byfar the best. Thanks to the Managers & the employees at this location

Arfe was the best! Helped me all with all my needs and walked me through the process of getting my dimensions right for a platform bed. Great customer service and demeanor. Give this guys a raise!

I got a job! Lol. It's an incredible place though. Organised and stock full of all the necessary materials from DIY projects to furnishing and carpentry and even Home building.

To the Ukrainian cashier at the southside customer service desk who cashed me out on January 11th, 2020 around 12: 45 PM, PLEASE learn some basic customer service skills and treat your customers with respect! Her reception was cold, she did not smile once and did not have any basic manners. She rudely implied I may have been stealing items in the garbage bin and snow shovel that I was purchasing at the checkout which caught me way off guard (Even the customer beside me had to chime into the conversation) It honestly felt like racial profiling and was quite embarrassing. I will not be returning to this Home Depot as you guys have left a bad taste in my mouth!

All I can say is a million thanks to kelly. I would of been one upset customer if it wasn't for her help. Glad to know that customer service still exists. I now have a person at home depot that I can trust.
