Ordered a wrong model stove from this store, not the downdraft that fits our kitchen. The kitchen section stuff Singh and customer service team Chris were very helpful to help arrange another stove and make arrangement. Thank you for the help and patience! Great team and very helpful! Will definitely buy from this store in the future!

Had an exceptional visit with a Home Depot associate KIRK.

Yes it’s the big orange box and you expect them to have everything and most times they do - BUT FINDING IT

That’s where CAPTAIN KIRK took charge and helped us get EVERYTHING we needed to complete our DIY. I truly hope this doesn’t fall on deaf ears. Some of your employees should be fast tracked up the ladder to set a good example

Had poor experience buying a BBQ in this store. They sold me a floor model which turned out to be a natural gas model even though it was marked as liquid propane one. Discovered this when came back home and assembled the BBQ. Called customer service and was told that it is my fault because I "didn't ask the right questions". Seriously? The BBQ is being sold as LP one, there is a picture of propane tank on the lid.and it's my fault? Requested to speak to the store manager, so someone named Chris called me and was completely useless and uncooperative. At the end, I had no choice but to waste yet another hour of my time for driving to the store and back to return the BBQ. This is the last time I buy anything in this store!

The HD keeps a very good stock level of most items. Staff are decent and helpful. Patrons are decent. Once had a tyre punctured on the parking lot near the cart chalet. This was the only bad experience so far.

The worst customer service that I have ever seen. I tried to ask a question about the light bulbs and track lights, and I need to wait for half hour because only one person was working in the electrical area. And I found another person who’s walking around, I asked him politely, but he just asked me to read the box. And he said he doesn’t know everything even though he was working here. I don’t know so I need to ask, I think you are more professional than us. I cant find it, and he read it and told me the answer from the box. And he said I told you to read the box. What’s going on? Is that my fault that I didn’t see that and bother you? Wow, amazing! I am not coming to this location anymore. Horrible service.

August 2021. A typical home depot store. Location is convenient. Good specials once in a while. Carries most common products. When they have a clearance deal, it can be very well priced. Though some items that are older, should really be price cut as it's outdated or simply too old. Clean.

Our favorite DIY box store. Happen to be at this location and finally stage 1 opening with metered shoppers, with limitations, store is not crowded. Was lucky to beat the crowd as lineups formed when I left. Wood is at its all time high. Outdoor garden products were limited inside, probably moved them all outdoors because of previous lockdowns. Plenty of bilingual signs because of the location. Plenty of parking and restaurants in the plaza.

Hard to find someone to help you but once I did, the gentleman was very helpful and recommended me different products for my issue. They have easy to use self checkouts and hand sanitizers at each station.

Good, solid Home Depot that has a ton of stuff and great selection. The staff here is also very friendly although they seem to always be overwhelmed (cause they seem to always be understaffed). But overall, it is very pleasant and lots of parking.

We placed an order of 35 pcs of wood to do our deck about 3 weeks ago. When the delivery came, we received 14 pcs of damaged wood, and 1 missing pc. So in total we only received 34 pcs. We call the delivery department back and spoke to Ivan, he says he will look into inventory and try to get a shipment out to replace the 14 damaged and 1 missing pc. A week goes by we hear nothing and when we called back, Ivan told us they were waiting on us to call back.

DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?
1) We were never informed to call back.

2) If you're checking inventory and shipment dates, you should be the one calling the customer back.

3) If the customer doesn't call back, wouldn't you think to follow up?

So Ivan then tells us he would look into it and let us know. ANOTHER WEEK HAS PASSED, today we called and a lady from the delivery department told us:

1) They can't get a shipment out to us.
2) They can't refund us for the missing pc of wood.
3) She wants us to RE-ORDER WITH EXPRESS SHIPPING the 14 pcs plus the 1 missing pc (WHY AM I REORDERING FOR A PIECE THAT NEVER CAME? ! AND WHY AM I REORDERING FOR DAMAGED GOODS THAT SHOULD SIMPLY BE A REPLACEMENT? !)
4) She said they would TRY to pick undamanged pieces of wood for this new order (BASICALLY A NON-GUARANTEE, AND TRY IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH)
5) They want us to BRING IN the 14 damaged pcs of wood when the store reopens to get our refund for that and the pc that was missing. So now we have to go out of our way to SPEND MORE MONEY AND RENT a truck to bring these pieces back. WHAT WAS THE POINT OF PAYING FOR SHIPPING IN THE FIRST PLACE? !

ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE.
NO REGARD FOR QUALITY CONTROL.
LACK OF COMMUNICATION.
HIGHLY HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED IN THE STAFF AT THIS LOCATION.

NOW WE ARE DELAYED ON OUR PROJECT BECAUSE WE DONT HAVE ENOUGH MATERIAL. AND WE HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY TO TRY AND GET THIS NON-GURANTEED SHIPMENT OF WOOD.

One of the busiest Home Depot stores in gta. Longer hours than other stores and holiday hours. Very popular with contractors. Always have what I need. Just need to be patient, or go to the other locations.

Really Horrible experience here. Online order can not be processed, so I drove here to ask the employees about the situation. One of the elderly employees who stand in front of the entrance asked me and my friend really uncomfortable questions “ Are you guys from China to Canada? Do you guys check news and media? ” Of course we know all the news and lockdown policy. The only reason we are here is to ask if Gardening is open so we could buy things straight from store. The employee refused to let my friend and I explain our purpose, even did not let other employees help us. Seriously!? We stay in Canada for 6 years and we feel really offended by the question “Are you guys from China to Canada? ” Please educate your employees to stop throwing such uncomfortable and racist questions.

Was in the area, and called to ask if my curbside pickup item was ready. Was told that they are extremely busy, and will not be able to get my simple order of two spray cans today. I gave them my order number, they knew exactly what I needed, and were apparently too busy to hand them to me.

30 minutes later after I arrived home, I get an email telling me my order is ready. Amazing forethought on home depot's part.

We came here to get material for my porch. The one staff Logan was very nice taking his time to explain and gave suggestion to us what to buy and ways of doing the project. Also found out there was equipment rental

Unprofessional and lazy too. I wanted a plywood cut. I made a blueprint and sent it to the store and very clearly ask them if that order can be done. They replied to me that " yes it can be done, please place order on plywood and email back with order number"
I ordered all stuff and paid online. An hour later a guy calls me and says " no, its a lot of work. We give you the plywood and you take it to a carpenter"
If I wanted to go to carpenter, I would do my shopping in the same carpenter. It was a simple wood cut but the guy was too lazy to do it. He kept making excuses to evade getting the order done. An order that was initially confirmed by the Pro Desk. My whole day was wasted buying online, ordering, waiting for reply to my email, and calling for cancellation and refund.
PS: Here comes the root cause of the problem. The owner? ! Not apologizing for inconveniencing me and giving me hassle, not any promise or even any slight hint that there would be any attempt to fulfill my order. Instead, he has an order for me! Give me private message! The owner. Yeah! I am gonna spend a few more days shooting messages back and forth and play text with you. Sure. Sir, you are not talking to your subordinates.

Neeslah was great.he helped me to load the skyline garden wall into my cart when the pallet was located on the second shelf. He handed me the blocks one by one on a ladder. THANK YOU! When I thanked him, he replied that he was just "doing his job". What a humble young man - thank you and greatly appreciated!

Ordered 1/2in UNC threaded round head carriage bolts. Somehow employees at the curbside pickup managed to get every part of that wrong and brought out the incorrect product 3 different times. Took 40 minutes to get the right part and a whole lot of angry grumbling from the employee about how hard it was to find the part.edit: Employee informed me the website was wrong and they didnt have the part i needed and paid for. Told me to come back 5 days from now

About 1: 40pm today i was returning to my car after shopping at this location and one of the elderly employees who was collecting shopping carts was blocking my car because he was on his phone. I politely let him know that I'm leaving and if he would move the shopping carts he stacked together out of the way so I move my car and raised his voice saying, "I know! You want to move the carts out of the way then move them! ". I asked him to calm down and I was only informing him that I'm leaving. He then replied, "No you calm down! ". I then mentioned, "I'm not yelling at you, sir. I'm just letting you know that I'm leaving so you can move the carts you're collecting out of the way. " He then moved his carts returning them to the store while yelling, "I'm not yelling! You're yelling"

Shopping experience was fine, they handled my returns quickly and I bought more items. But having one of their employees just to yell at you like that when you're just politely letting them know to move their cart can just ruin anyone's end experience.

Beware of online curbside orders here. Due to the stay at home lockdown stores aren’t able for walk-in. I ordered a Milwaukee radio online to be picked up curbside. After receiving it I opened it up at home to realize the brand new product that I purchased was in fact used. Had chips, dents and paint all over it. If I didn’t pay full price and instead a opened box price I maybe would have understood. Stores aren’t doing returns at the time so I’ll have to wait weeks maybe months to get my money back. Very disappointed with Home Depot as it’s my go to for almost everything I need for work.

Customer service is horrible. They just try to get you off the line as fast as possible and if the dont have an answer for you they just say they dont know and don't even try to find someone who does. Also it not just one person ive talk to multiple within the week and they all have the same attitude.

Maybe it just today but I went for curbside pick up and the guy was rude. I told him he had to work on his customer service skills especially if his job is to meet people outside and give then there things that they spent good money for. He pretty much told me he act how he wants. I'll spend money elsewhere next time.

Ordered an item for curb side pickup. Checked in, called three times, went in store twice and had to carry heavy item myself to car. Was a half hour process. Canadian Tire figured this one out, and they’re antiquated.

Andrew went above and beyond to ensure that I had enough twine to secure my load in the parking lot. I wouldn't have made it home safely without his help.

I typically shop at the Home Depot on red maple, but the service at the Markham location is far better than what I normally experience. I will be shopping at this location much more often. Thank you

Pretty good Home Depot compared to other locations I have been to. This location has a lot more variety of products and is more spaced out. I feel like most Home Depot's are very small but this one is larger. Customer service was good when I could not find a specific tool, a man within one of the aisles, (unfortunately I did not find out what department he worked in) but he was very friendly and helpful. Was very pleasant to speak to and was able to show me the right section I was looking for!

Logan was a great help. I think he works in the wood cutting department. I asked him if he could page an associate from flooring for some help with cutting some rug I wanted to purchase. Instead of paging someone he help me out instead. Home Depot needs to hire more People like Logan! He was a great help

Went into the store with my research done and a list of things I needed to get. It was quiet, not many shoppers or workers. The website gave me the aisle and bin number for where the products were which was helpful. When I thought I got everything a sales person was walking by and asked if I needed any help. I figured it'd be good to make sure what I was getting was right for the task. I showed him what needed fixing and replaced the majority of what I thought I needed, explained what I needed to do, and really saved me money and effort. I really appreciated his expertise and very grateful for the suggestions.
They have the self check out counters with handheld wireless scan guns and really big monitors for the touchscreen.
Plastic bags are free, but I try to not get plastic bags.

Usually I got to Ikea to get my tree, but this year we went to get the $23 Home Depot Christmas tree. The trees in that price range were underwhelming to say the least! Ended up getting the $40 tree.

But it is a beautiful tree. The Home Depot guy used a magical chain saw clipper to cut the bottom of the trunk, so the tree could go straight into the stand. Also the store was empty so no crowds to contend with. So grudgingly, I guess it's was ok to spend the extra $15.

Not sure if ill go back to Ikea next year. Their trees are quite nice.for $20.but you have to deal with Ikea crowds and poor crowd management, parking chaos and I have to find the full saw and cut the trunk myself.

Typical hardware store. Lots of items

Luckily their website has exact location of what we needed.

They also had prominent signs for washrooms, so no hunting about.

The only somewhat worrisome thing is there were only self serve checkout counters.

Home depot is always best home renovation store in town.they have everything for your hone sweet home decoration needs.i have been to home depot quite frequently.they sell everything you need in your home.i bought grass cutting from here recently and it was on amazing price.in addition, i love their customer service as well.
